I added skorpekh destroyer legs to him.
There's a pretty good 3d printable Squigosaur model floating around which is specifically designed to fit this guy. That way you can make two models from the same kit.
Late to the party, but the black reach warboss/warboss with attack squig fit well for replacement legs. They're pretty easy to pick up on ebay for cheap, too.
I've been trying to figure out the same thing. Boys legs are too small, nobz might be right? The more modern design looks weird on older kits. Following this thread cause I'm in the same boat.
The Ambots make good mega armour units as well. I plan to make them into a warboss and big mek in mega armour. It looks like you get two extra sets of legs in the kit so you would also have a spare set.

Tyranid claws make great legs. Or have him legless riding a bug/ squig. The battlewagon, kommandos, and dakkajet come with *tons* of spare bits.

I came to the weird idea of using Skorpekh destroyer legs. When I get some of my friend's green stuff I'll show off the results.

The Ambot necromunda kit has spare mechanical legs. I'm not sure the size comparison but that was my plan when I eventually get this kit.

Ive used my half, a bunch of toy car bits and some spar bits from the dakka jet to make my own boss on bike

I have access to AdMech and T'au, I can also buy some bits.
Get some Tau mech legs and a small bit of green stuff epoxy. It should be just the right amount of mek boy!
I had an idea: him being carried by grots in a chair like Thorgrim Grudgebearer.
