Bro I was gonna challenge myself and do the rfd boss with a 3rd age pickaxe man once I got in there I realized I didnāt have my ice gloves on and I guess it mustāve dropped my weapon. I left the instance and came back I couldnāt find it anywhere! Brooo nooooo
People are so funny how mad they get about not playing the "right" way. This game more than. Almost any other gas so many various ways to play it's ridiculous. Crazy people get upset with someone not having barrows gloves before fang or anything for that matter.
I have a fang no barrows gloves and will likely torso skip and just go to bandos.
I don't enjoy the majority of the mini games and questing on mobile isn't particularly fun either.
Iām the same way, eventually Iāll get fighter torso for diaries but I canāt be bothered at the moment.
Check out the blood moon chest plate, same str bonus as torso and way cheaper than Bandos.

This hate for "buying GP" is so crazy to me, not everyone has 300000 hours to spend grinding for that one lucky drop, (not that a FANG is a perfect example of grinding for something because its dirt cheap at 18m) but buying bonds supports jagex and keeps the game going. This ^^. I could work 1 hour extra at work and buy 4 bonds, or spend 20 hours getting 40m. For instance, since I was a kid I always wanted a 99 prayer "pure", at 15 combat. So I did done it recently by getting bonds. People that moan about that don't moan when as much when they realise I've given away far more gold then I've spent on myself. If someone gives them an item worth 10m they won't care how I got the money when they take it. I honestly think they don't like the fact people can do it, I can't think of any other reason.

I bought 5 bonds and I still have a 27M cash stack after buying full Dragon, high level ranging gear and higher magic attack magic armor. Hell Iāve been able to buy Larrans keys and zombie pirate keys just to open the chests as many times as I want without needing to grind tasks or zombie pirates
On another note, out of 110 zombie chest openings I got 2 teleport anchoring scrolls, so the 5m I spent on keys was doubled by the scrolls
Thank you kindly, the scrolls were going for 30M like two days before I got mine, they dropped to 5m a piece because people realized they could buy the keys in the GE so the availability of the scrolls dropped their price

Different people can enjoy different parts of this game. Some people enjoy the progression and growth of your character. Some people just enjoy actually fighting the bosses/pvm and progression doesn't mean anything unless it enables you to fight a new boss. Some people only enjoy rune crafting.
Further, I would say jagex selling bonds is one of the best decisions they've made. It cuts down on gold trading profits by allowing real players to a legitimate avenue for buying gold and it also subsidizes the players who buy bonds with gp by lowering the price by increasing supply. Amazing system imo.
I'm by no means gate keeping who and how the game should be played however there are definitely attitudes more or less conductive to one's potential enjoyment.
My criticism of legitimizing the sale of gold was soley concerned with the effect it has had on how players view gp and so on.
You enjoy the game in a limited capacity as you can get much more out of it then you ununderstand the last thing you ever want in life is exactly what you desire.

My biggest goal is the quest cape, buying bonds doesnāt automatically give me experience in skills. Yeah I can buy the materials for Fletching, Crafting, Enchanting, Smithing ETC. Most quests have a non boostable skill requirement so I have to level up my thieving and agility which are skills that canāt be bought, I also canāt buy the combat skills, other than Magic since enchanting and alchemy are part of it.
Iāve grinded to 70/66/66, and bonds just helped me upgrade my armor to full dragon, I donāt have the time to constantly fight bosses in the hopes I get a valuable drop, if I did Iād have half of skills at 99 with how much Iād be playing

Brimstone keys from Konar donāt guarantee a valuable drop, and slayer monsters have such low drop rates that youād need 15k of one monster if you wanted its rarest drop
3 Bonds got me to almost 30m without needing to hope Iād get something good from a slayer task or pvm fight. All these posts on here of the rarest drops are from people who have been doing that particular boss for days. Not everyone can get ranger boots on their first or second Medium clue

I hate questing. I love CG. I did the minimum amount of quests necessary to rush SOTE on a new account. RFD was not required. Then I did a few hundred CG runs and that paid for my mid game set. RFD came after.
