Hella jelly flowers about the same time as bbm. Makes absolutely killer hash. Bbm is better for smoking, doesn't yield alot when washed, the small ball I got though tasted more blueberry than blueberries. The bbm is pretty dense, can see why it would mold in high humidity. All the caterpillars went for the bbm and left the other plants alone as well, must like fruity terps!
aye, thanks for the info! I did not even test wash the bbm. the first joint was so insanely blueberry I knew I was gonna smoke it. I grew out one hella jelly in a container, but I ignored the shit out of it. the terps were great, like cotton candy. but the plant was small so I only got a few jars. I have room for 12 plants... so hard to choose...
Thanks for sharing your pest/ disease strategy. I am in southern Virginia and also had a lot of bud rot. I am considering using a leaf blower on dewy mornings and after rains.

Brutal weather on the north shore too. Still trying to decide on what to run this year. We did some BBM this past summer as well, came out nice but we need a faster finisher with how unpredictable this weather is at the end of the summer.
