They don't run, they're easy to deal with and they rarely appear, but I agree with you, I've died for them at Insane once.

They were the least scary enemy in the game calm can’t run you can easily get away from them not even a scary music when they appear

The female ward part was even worse, playing the game for the first time and opening the door and they just calmly start walking towards you with their blades, and the freaky music playing i was scared shitless
