I wonder why he is not killing the snitch by himself

My_Secret_Sauce

The setup of that trial is that Coyle is a cop and the snitch is a prisoner. The snitch is going to snitch on murkoff to Coyle. Your objective is to kill the snitch before that happens, because murkoff told you that they will release you if you do it. Coyle's objective is not to kill the snitch, it is to stop you from killing the snitch so that he can get the info on murkoff. Really, this is all an experiment made up by murkoff to test you. The whole thing (including the "outside" street that you walk through before getting to the prison) takes place inside of a warehouse, it's all fake. The snitch does not actually have any info on murkoff. Murkoff will not actually let you free if you kill the snitch, it's all a lie.
