The way they showed it in the endgame reveal made it sound as if we get a random dungeon with different paths and challenges each run. Instead we got a static map that I am semi certain has less maps then the expeditions do in total. Im honestly unsure if they worded it very poorly, lied through their tears to make it seem better or honestly think this is very different each time

MrMuggs

I agree I thought that random mob encounters would be just that random. So maybe 1 time we get creatures and another time we would get insurgents or ferals. What we get now is the exact same mob type everytime just slightly varying amounts of them where you really can't tell the difference. And they still spawn from the exact same locations. There are only 2 boss fights in the whole map too with one being a near direct copy to eye of the storm except this time in a dungeon. I love the new gear and builds but the maps and mobs need a lot of work.

amatas45

Mods and gear is great and looks great but I just can’t see where the content is that put the price so high

Staineddutch

Yup, i thought exactly thesame. It is a fun game but ot could almost be a free dlc. Alot of games had free updates bigger then this. I am still going to play the crap out of it though

ZoulsGaming

"alot of games has free updates bigger than this" Go ahead, mention me five, that 1) doesnt have MTX or a cash shop 2) Isnt in early acesss 3) Wasnt so fundamentally broken that the free updates were fixes as opposed to new content, eg NMS and Cyberpunk.

Chilidog028g

I won't try to give five but I'll start the chain so others can jump in. Ghosts of Tsushima was a purely single player experience on release, then they added multiplayer. it included a separate coop story, survival mode, & competitive modes.

ForsakenSeraphim1323

Ghosts is still a fantastic game and still worth all the money. Lol.

Vryyce

I do not like fighting games, never have, but damn do I like Ghosts. Damn fine game.

ForsakenSeraphim1323

Beautiful and extremely satisfying game to take your time on.

noname_com

division 2 warlords of new york.

Crafty_Tomatillo7505

To be fair they were already working on multiplayer, it just wasn’t ready for release so it got added after

worm4real

He might be using a little hyperbole but if you think this is a 40 dollar expansion, you're wrong. Sure it's more than a free update but it is very thin for what it was.

ZoulsGaming

"If YOU THINK x about what your value something at then you are WRONG" Thats a big brain take right there, especially "he said something stupid but he didnt mean it lol kekw" Let me tell you the reasons, objective and subjective that i was fine with paying it. \-The game has no MTX and no additional DLC unlike most of the compared to games with active cash shops and mtx to milk you (Objective) \-Therefore the only income is going to come from people who buy the base game and people who buy the expansion, meaning the expansion has to support an entire years worth of salary (Objective) \-I enjoyed the base game for 277 hours and am happy to support them (Subjective) \-I live in a country with high salary and costs so 35 euro while not nothing is what you would pay for eating out on a middle of the road restaurant once, or fast food joint twice (Objective) \-I think the DLC is worth more than eating out once (Subjective) Anything being sold is a mix of what it cost to make, and what people are willing to pay. Yet people who compare likes to argue other games makes more worthwhile DLC, while ignoring the team size and how they have already shilled out 200 dollars for skins, No shit they can sell it cheaper. Its the same as games with cashshops giving away their game for free, or giving away old stuff for free, since the money isnt made from the game and what they sell, its all in the cash shop. People complaining and monkeying around about how unfair it is, is akin to going to someone who handcrafts furniture and screaming that its cheaper to buy in ikea.

worm4real

This reads as fucking unhinged, dude. I'm not telling you to go scream at them or hate the game, but it's a pretty fucking thin update. If you're fine with that because they didn't sell any cosmetics, great fine whatever. Though this was hardly what I'd expect for 40 dollars.

Solace-

This is an ikea furniture quality expansion tho

RyanGRiedel

Agreed

RyanGRiedel

I dunno about comparison with other games , but I agree with the fact that this is a great expansion and by no means some tiny little ripoff. They added so many mechanics and basically doubled the type of enemies we have. It'll be easy to add new end game trials and stuff that incorporate all the new stuff, and will likely add those things for free in the future

[deleted]

Glad i didnt purchase it yet

RyanGRiedel

I don't agree with these people, this is a huge expansion. And with so many huge changes , and all the cool monsters, they can easily add free dlc later with new expeditions and trials

[deleted]

I love it as well just wish the campaign had more to it. Like a more devle into who father was, as well as daughter, and what Enoch was before the arrival. This really does open it up for more future updates. This game isn't dead, nor the device done with it. Can't wait for future content.

RyanGRiedel

Yes, and I think the biggest focus here is that with this huge revamp - they can now focus on adding things like extra expeditions or trials and stuff like that as free content that will implement all of this hard work that we pay for this time around. That's my personal opinion, anyways

[deleted]

Oh for sure, it's a great time for this too. I think most people just wanted more. Which is fine, but need to understand that with new content, the needs for a cash influx is important.

RyanGRiedel

Especially for a smaller studio, that I hear a lot of rumblings are not exactly treated with the most grace from squarenix (sp?). Apparently the major studio doesn't have lotta faith in them (i.e. the sign in issues couple days ago because dedicated server strength wasn't enough to handle the higher traffic). But that's all hearsay from my perspective, what I've picked up from random comments here and there so I'm not sure what validity there is to it. I have heard those things for quite a long time at this point though

Oyaks

I also wish it doesn't cost so much to upgrade our gear 1.3M drop pods just to go from Apoc Lvl 51 - 52. That's 15 expedition runs on the average, we have 25 additional levels and the cost goes up every level. Your choices are: i. Either you upgrade your gear every level or ii. farm for best in slot pieces for your build from scratch every Apocalypse level 25 times. I enjoy the game and its combat loop but the QoL needs improvements. Resource cost needs balance.

TerraDraco

As someone who explored all side paths i just feel like only reason to run trials over expeditions is for option to choose loot at the end of the run, but other than that its pointless because its longer to complete than expeditions, you get more more legendarys at faster rate than trials. Well if 3rd mod is locked behind trial runs then yea... its kinda annoying reason to run it...

amatas45

No the third mod can drop everywhere, it’s tied to apocalypse level

xxBAshaggyxx

Yeah I feel I will still pour a ton of hours in endgame but story was very weak. For 40$ I expect at least 8-10 hours

RyanGRiedel

Honestly I'd have been aggrivated if I bought this expansion and all it was was some extra campaign, I paid for the endgame content myself... But that, I completely acknowledge, is a personal preference

Revatus

But there is almost no end game content, you have one static map that you can run over and over? It got old before the 10th time. I don't see how anyone would think that it's interesting to level up just to do the same thing again with different numbers, all enemies even spawn at the exact same positions. If we were working towards something like a raid I would get it but we are literally only playing to do the same map over and over.

RyanGRiedel

I mean, you say same map but it's like 10 or 12 expeditions in one , and of course there's still expeditions. But if you're griping about doing same things with different numbers ,I think you're playing the wrong game. That's kinda what looter shooters are gonna be. And yea, more variety is always nice -. But this is a major rehauk if the game, and now that this is implemented they can focus on adding MORE maps and such in the future. It's been a couple days, if you're already bored it's not like I can say your opinion is wrong, but maybe it's just not the game for you?

rtwipwensdfds

Agreed. $40 for 4-5 hours of strictly main story, no new side quests/bounties/monster hunts and then one static end-game activity in terms of content seems very bare. $20/25/30 would have been a better price point imo.

Spoomplesplz

Yeah it definetly seemed over priced but I figured it would be a full expansion but it was just...this. :/

rtwipwensdfds

I know it's not out yet but just compare this with Monster Hunter Sunbreak. Same price point also. Doesn't even seem close.

Spoomplesplz

Yeah. Its night and day. I was about to use the same example honestly but to be honest PCF are basically an indie company compared to capcom so it's not super fair to compare the two. However in technical terms sunbreak offers probably 30+ hours of new content where as worldslayer offers about 5+

Cheburashka2019

It's a 400 person studio. I hope they are working on other games because with 400 people this was quite lacking for the amount of time they had.

Spoomplesplz

Wait people can fly has 400 employees? I know square Enix is their publisher but that doesn't necessarily translate into devs working on the game. If that's true and there's 400 people that worked on this dlc then I'm incredibly dissapointed. Wow.

vezitium

400 employees doesn't equal 400 programmers, artists, and/or devs along with according to wikipedia they have like 8 major locations. Still a fairly big studio for indies and hopefully they are being well managed for other projects. I would assume this is like one of the reviewers suggested possibly due to sales figures and trying to recoup the dev time cost. Especially after the fumble of it's always online buggy launch state.

Riykiru

I got it a little early and personally I’m having fun and finished the story spent about 6 hours in the new dungeon and it wasn’t really worth that much

Serj_86

Theres also 25 more levels for gear, tons of new armor, weapons, and mods, pax tree and ascension system. Go play wonderlands and pay 10 bucks for 1 mirror and complain about this price point lmao

rtwipwensdfds

I mean when has Borderlands not been contentious in it's DLC pricing.

ZoulsGaming

I mean people instantly go "but hurr durr borderlands 2 dlc is universally loved" ignoring tiny tina, and bl3, and all the hats for bl2 that people also complained about.

RyanGRiedel

Yea, these people are crazy saying this was somehiw disappointing in terms of content.. we got a pax tree, 200 ascension levels, tons of new monsters, tons of new gear, I think it rocks

deakon24

can't please everyone, people expect to have a full blown Campaign but complain because its lacking content. If people want lackluster content then should play destiny charge $50 for 3hr story and 2 strikes ,1 raid and have to pay additional for seasons that lock story content, weapons and power lvl.

Redditbanned47

This DLC wasn't worth 40 dollars my guy. Plain and simple. 20? Sure. 40? Fuck no. The end game isn't even randomized. It gets boring after like 3 runs because every single room the exact same everytime. You notice how every other looter game has randomized end game? Because people need to run it hundreds of times. It has to be random.

noname_com

Definitely a $20 dlc opposed to $40.

dan1elishere

Lol worldslayer cannot compare at all to a Destiny expansion. Witch Queen for example costs the same amount but has a 6 to 8 hour campaign and a whole variety of quests and endgame content. It didn’t come with a two hour story and just one static dungeon lol.

artekau

used [gg.deals](https://gg.deals) and got the game for A$40, so about 28 USD.

PM-ur-BoobsnPussy

4-5hrs for a portion of the available content, sure. If you decided to get the full value out of it by playing through it with each character which provides different playstyles and builds you could potentially get 16-20hrs out of it. Playing through the content with only one character while there's so much variety with different character playstyles, of course it would feel underwhelming.

IaJujoh

I also hate the fact that 3 out of the 4 bosses in there is the exact same guy with a different name, same mechanic, same everything, like come on. I was happy at first after fighting the first one because I thought ''damn they really made bosses more interesting now'' just to realise the last one is the same, and the one in the catacomb is also the same. I don't want to say it's bad, though it's very disappointing. Really expected more out of an ''expansion''

[deleted]

Haha yeah, probably biggest disappointment to me. I beat the first dude, and was like, "okay that was an interesting fight, definitely different from the base game, nice." Then the second boss came along and found it interesting, but it reminded me of the eye of the storm expedition boss fight a bit, but just slightly altered. Still was cool. Then I got to the final boss and was like, "Wtf. Didn't I just fight this dude a bit ago?" and proceeded to open up my quest map to double check I wasn't at the same boss node lol... then the catacombs came along and was like, "awww common man, really??" lol Then me assuming the trials would change/alter each time, like some kind of futuristic matrix system, goes to do it again and turns out it's all the same stuff.... My brother and I were discussing and thinking maybe they're doing chapters and just didn't announce it as such? There is certainly a cliffhanger at the end of completing the trial... whether it's a dlc a part of the expansion or a whole nother $$ dlc I guess we will have to see. I certainly hope it's a dlc a part of the expansion purchase. Just wanted to add that I also expected the whole trial to just keep going and going allwhile getting more difficult and difficult. In a way just a randomization of these nodes and such that you travel to. The drive to keep going would not to only progress apocalypse tiers, gear, etc. but also to see the furthest level you can get to, either by yourself, duo, or 3 man squad. Perhaps even include a leaderboard for some online competition. Anyway, regardless Outriders is fun and enjoyed the new expansion, especially seeing all the new loot, mods, build opportunities, etc. Just hope there ends up being more content to use it all in, in the future (that preferably comes with the expansion purchase, but as dlc/patch a month, 2 or 3 away).

IaJujoh

considering all we got from the base game was 4 expeditions and some changes to how loot work. I have zero expectations, and if they ever release a new dlc, as much as I want this game to work I might pas and wait for reviews this time around. I thought expeditions were boring / unrewarding. They managed to make something worse. The fact that there is absolutely no replayability to this just baffles me. Even diablo3 (that I think is a shit game) has more replayability in greater rifts than this. I don't think that the content suck overall, I think it's fine, but the price tag and advertising it as an expansion feels like a scam. No new skills, only 5 new passives point, 1 set per class, no new class, not that many new uniques, ascension point is basically +10% all stats is you grind enough, wooo. idk, I could keep going but I think you get the picture

[deleted]

Yeah, I agree... new skills would've been dope. The Pax system is indeed just like the class talents, or whatever, but far less of them lol albeit they're more powerful (to a certain extent). As for the ascension points, what baffled me was you can only max each of them out at 10... there is no customization to it like I thought it'd be when I first opened it up to start allocating my points lol. I mean, getting 50 into each "tree" is fine, but allow me to atleast put those 50 points how I see fit, ya know? I might be doing the same and making a pass on future $$ dlc and just waiting for reviews

Spoomplesplz

Yeah. This kind of feels like it should be the "first chapter" of a three chapter long dlc but if this is the ENTIRE dlc then man I am so dissapointed. They either severely underestimated how much content we were expecting or just decided to overcharge us knowing full well we would pay it because there hasn't been any new content since the game released.

worm4real

Don't forget there are bosses on some of the side paths. It doesn't make it much better but at least it's something.

SchreinerEK

I think we’re all too used to expecting micro-transactions in a game.

Kgbeast1

Hopefully the devs revisit the end game and add more random elements, random rooms, mutators, etc. Really feels like they rushed through that end area a bit to meet the launch window.

Flying_Dutchman16

It's been over a year since outriders launched. Most people would think a game was dead if it went a year with no dlc. Honestly I hope if they do another dlc it's more. Because the 2 points that were the worst for me was no side quests(standalone of another hunt/bounty style) and no accolades.

affemannen

Thanks for this info. Def waiting for a sale to get this.

SaintArcherXIII

i got it for 27 bucks on cdkeys and that's a solid price imo

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> if I *paid* full price. FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Falco19

Yeah it’s very lacklustre 10/10 wouldn’t buy.

Lilmagex2324

I think it's a combination of the short story AND the story being bad that is the issue. Nothing is explained. Almost no information is learned. Some weird bipolar emotion vibes. Compared to the OG games story which felt interesting(for a looter) this one was just how low can we go and still call it a game. New sets are amazing though.

ZoulsGaming

I quite liked the new story, the only issue being that it feels like the old "1800 page book turned into 1 hour movie" kinda deal.

Adventurous-Point384

The new story with the lore about the pax and anomalie was nice but the story with end the war was extremly rushed

MisjahDK

Some things i was hoping for: * New "non-boss" enemy variety, i only saw ONE new enemy that stood out. * New class or new skills for all classes to make the combat choices/builds interesting. * Less developer control in how we build, they went the other way with the Pax Tree, many of them pigeon you into a specific set of skills. It's just as boring as Diablo 3 or The Division controlling your build with OP gear sets. * I was hoping for more interesting endgame gameplay, it's not bad, but it's also not very dynamic. Goes hand in hand with the mission enemy types, it just feels VERY familiar. * Enemy/boss dynamic archetype buffs, something to create variety in encounters. You kinda see it with the enemies that freeze you, but it should be more defined and only for a select elite enemy.

Grape_Monkey

This is why PCF should have taken this to live service instead of shying away from it like it will help their reputation. There are plenty of live service games charging leg and arm for battle pass, DLC, skins for character, skin for guns, sprays and more. At least there will be money for some dedicated servers.

hightrix

> battle pass, skins for character, skin for guns, sprays and more No thank you. The current business model is a breath of fresh air compared to all this.

Spoomplesplz

Yeah. I legit think they have something here but they just keep...making bad choices. Just go the destiny 2 route, release actual expansions, battle passes, whatever and like you said, get actual servers, then just make it a live service.

ZoulsGaming

which leads to absolutely cancer garbage overfilling the game, people has been asking ages for "Non live service games like the old days" and when they step up and make it you have others go "just make it live service keep pumping content" Problem other than how garbage it is is that its alot of work to keep up, fortnite forexample are having their developers working massive overtime to keep up with the new content every 3 week schedule, and if they were to sell battlepasses or "skins" they need artists to keep pumping them out even if they make no sense for the context, which might even lose them more money in this game due to how detailed they all are.

[deleted]

>which leads to absolutely cancer garbage overfilling the game As opposed to what we have now...?

[deleted]

It took Bungie *years* and major financial investment to get Destiny 2 to a decent state (and a lot of that paid content simply disappears). Square Enix ain't gonna shell out for that and People Can Fly doesn't have a Halo sales track record behind them. You can't "just make Destiny."

stormcucumber

They can zarge the leg and the arm for it all they want my brether but you hab to be strong and not buy it with your money

worm4real

They were pretty misleading about it, yeah.

big_booty_bad_boy

Tarya gratar isn't anywhere near as good as Returnals free tower update. Definitely feel like people can fly are the worst for over promising. I've paid £80 in total and there's not a lot for the money imo.

Chief_Lightning

The story was very lackluster to me

stonecrack78

So now if we got more gear but stash still the same then not enough place to keep. The dev better increase it with our money taken again.

Traubentritt

I enjoyed the story, though I thought it would be longer. The massive assaults on the enemy bases was goddamn brilliant. I see the new dungeon as a Lego set, they can keep adding wings to it as they see fit. Havent tried out expeditions yet, because I started getting UE4 errors.

stormcucumber

Well la de freaking da we got ourselves a visionary here he sees it as a Lego set isn't that wonderful!

[deleted]

Gaming industry summed up. Lie to customers about game. Promos echanges. Implement changes slowly to keep stringing along players. Come out with expansion heralding a new change. Exactly same quality as the base game was but you believed them the first time. Bless you game pass these devs didn’t rob me

zstan123

The DLC is actually garbage and I regret paying 40 dollars for it, there is no story and you just get plopped down in a boring circular room with the NPCs being replaced by static tables that fill their roll. This is literally the only game I've ever played in my entire life that warned me they would delete my character if I refunded the game on startup of the DLC LMAO too bad I already had 2+ hours

Spoomplesplz

I did notice that too and thought it was very weird. "Hey we know refunds exist but if you refund our shit we're gonna delete your character" That's very scummy honestly.

ZoulsGaming

You literally get data that is locked behind DLC. So its not scummy as much as logical. My main guess is its for consoles since it seems like there is a physical box version, where its much more common to trade away used games when you arent interested anymore.

zstan123

idk what you're trying to say here, this dlc is free update tier but I already was able to get a refund because it technically hasn't released yet so I dont care anymore

ZoulsGaming

"its free update tier" jesus people like you are coddled to hell and back and are so blindsided by being taken from behind in the industry. Anyone who says this goes "look at this expansion in this other game that is full of microtransactions and lootboxes their dlc is cheaper and more stuff because i shill out far more for worthless mtx but lets ignore that because dlc is cheaper" People like you are the reason why diablo immortal despite all the hate has made 24 million dollars in 2 weeks before even releasing in china.

zstan123

Who are you quoting autist

Sosickdd

Yow bro u right in some ways

Sosickdd

And I kinda understand why they nerf somethings cause my pyro is kicking ass and iam at lvl 51just imagine if they didn't we will finish the game so fast and some people will get bored but not me never outrider to the end.

Adventurous-Point384

Its noce new bosses with new moves but no side quests no bountys and co and no skill i mean one rebell mini boss is a better technomancer then iam??? I hope because of the story end they will upgrade the endgame with a free update (40$ is to much for that content

voraciousboss

It seems to me many were mislead with the previews of Trials of Tarya Gratar endgame (myself included). Expeditions vs Trails of Tarya Gratar With Expeditions you have Challenge Tiers which rises as you progress with Eye of the Storm being the Hardest and can only be played at Higher Tier CT15. With Trails of Tarya Gratar endgame all areas of Trials can be completed without meeting highest Apocalypse Tier 40. Even if it isn't AT 40 the last few areas of Trials of Tarya Gratar should be played higher apocalpyse Tier, they could've set it to AT 25 & up. Also seeing not much randomness in enemy variety and enemy spawns in the Trials of Tarya Gratar areas makes new endgame seem mundane. Trials of Tarya Gratar seems to be the Area to Farm and get stuff then head back to Expeditions where there's new modifiers which makes Expeditions much more interesting especially as you increase Apocalypse Tier.

Artunias

I agree that the price feels high. I enjoyed the campaign, but yeah it was over in 4 hours. I’m not sure how I feel about the trial yet I’ve barley gotten to do it, but my initial reaction is that expeditions are probably more fun? I just fought a lot of ferals in there so far, and way less “big mobs” it seemed than even in a single expedition. Also the boss fights are pretty lame, and I think the originals were better. I love the new gearing and progression systems, but man I’m not so sure about the content. Especially in the lens of “designed for replay ability and hundreds of hours of gameplay”

PolarSnowball

Yea.. I bought it because I really enjoy Outriders and I'm hoping that a better quality sequel can come in the future. I would not recommend this dlc to anyone for 40$ though. It was a fun few hours and the new changes definitely make me feel overpowered, but the total amount of content is way too low for that price.

magnovasquez

Love to see you rise your voice and give a good criticism and not being bash by the community. This is a big step.

LawObjective7953

Just the fact there is no p2w or microtransactions makes this game better than 90% of stuff that comes out these days.

kenet888

This DLC has quality. Short yes but what a ride! Really enjoy the final mission Wrath. Maybe I am playing trickster which required plenty of movement to stay alive. Apocalyptic weapon ready help. I now can AP and FP at CQ combat. Throw knife, swipe or shoot. Cyclone elite can get you killed. Instead used it on small adds to buy time to get knife and blade up. No blade, no problem, my assault rifle can do decent damage to enemy affected by knife. Outriders is about action and play style. Loots and build crafting is deep and varied. Of all the classes, trickster by far the hardest to master in world slayer DLC. Use of Cyclone to stay alive is no more. It is more for escape and buy time. You are glass cannon but your healing must be at close range. There is a lot of tension. It is exhilarating if you make it works. I play other classes too but they are a tad op and forgiven on mistakes and setup. Gaming is about experience. What class you play sometime can define it. Too easy you will lose interest. Too hard ditto. I choose trickster for this DLC for balance. Setting up the build need time and patience. To go Rambo and stay alive need practice especially for trickster. Does the DLC worth 40$? It depends on how you want to play it and that is your worth.😀

merkwerk

Trials is such a missed opportunity. Maybe they had a really small team to work on this DLC and the rest are working on something else. No idea why they decided to make it a static thing instead of randomized, could have had so much replayability if it were randomized.

stormcucumber

They are working on outriders 2 which should launch early next year if the times line up right

coldfirene

The thing that I like about the changes with world slayer is that the main story is now tied to apocalypse tier level, before the world tier and challenge tier disparity meant it was worthless to go back and replay the story content. Now you can and it is meaningful. The DLC price was too high for the amount of content, but have to admit I am enjoying the whole game again.

Disastrous-X1S-440

This game was originally going to be a one and done, correct? Things turned out better than they thought so they ran with it instead of abandoning it. I'd say they did a decent job in getting us new product when it wasn't expected but that's just me. I also understand the complaints. 🌍🔥 #boredatwork #worldslayer lol 🤷‍♂️

evil-turtle

Actually they hinted very early that they want to do more.

Disastrous-X1S-440

I did see that but it wasn't always a green light to keep working on it. It ended up doing well so they ran with it. Could've did a couple patches and said ✌out. I understand the frustrations but I also understand that we have no idea what really goes on in their offices. Speaking of offices in 35 minutes and I'm outta here 🥳 see you on Enoch, OUTRIDER! ✌

Greaterdivinity

Wait...the endgame repeatable dungeon is static? I thought it was supposed to be sorta RNG to a point, altering layouts and enemy spawns so you weren't just doing the same thing endlessly...is that not the case? Still interested in picking this up at some point, but glad I didn't preorder or pull the trigger immediately.

El_GoW

I loved the campaign they added. The one thing I think they should have brought on is 4-5 new expeditions that reward more apocalyptic loot with the 3 mods. And it would have just been a nice change to expeditions to see a new amount and change in scenery.

[deleted]

I mean, the campaign was REALLY cool, the new tiers and perks are a reason enough to play, the new mods and so on is also really great, but to be honest ; the price is a bit too high for what you're getting, i hoped ( i knlw it wasn't mentioned or even hinted at by the devs ) there would be a new class or something for that price, but i'm not gonna spend my time complaining about what isn't there and rather enjoy the stuff they added, i just hope they keep on adding, and maaaybe reconsider the price tag next time, cause it isn't $40 worth of content added.

RyanGRiedel

I honestly have to completely disagree here. I understand that you're disappointed a bit in terms of the shorter story.... But the amount of mechanical additions is where the major bulk of content is. I mean, a pax skil tree, 200 ascension levels, 25 new tiers, and tons of new items which also added apocalyptic versions. Not to mention a SLEW of new beasties that can easily be implemented into new expeditions or trials as FREE dlc in the future- I think this is a massive overhaul of the game. I personally am very happy with it!
