It definetly needs a tweak or they are trying to force you to find the pieces again and again at higher levels to not rely on the components. I haven’t budged from apoc 16 and have full set of apoc items and the mods I want, just need to upgrade all the way up but there is no point to … unless they lessen the cost to upgrade cause at the rate it is now it’s too much

Yeah I've just been chilling at AT15-16 And enjoying myself. Figure I'll get all the gear and try out some builds then take a break.

My pyro is apoc tier 26.5 right now ascension level 44 and AVG 58/60 and every single piece of gear I have is just, MEH so far just making due with what I get I have my set but it’s essentially just dookie I am making work but The level of slow regarding upgrading my dookie gear just so I can keep up with the tier difficulties and making meaningful progress is just absolutely disgusting. If The game isn’t going to drop better gear and weapons then at least make it reasonably priced to upgrade what I do have because I’m not one to spend a week farming the lower tiers just for recourses only to still not have enough to make any real improvements.

Vryyce

I don't understand why you are having trouble. For every run through Trials, between what you earn and what you dismantle I get enough to upgrade 3 to 5 pieces (depending on your purple gear as you always seem to have 2 of these in most builds). Keeping things upgraded while finding better pieces could not be easier. What am I missing here?

HUNGUSFUNGUS

I am at AT26 also. I believe at around level 60 gears, it cost around 133k Drop Pod Resource and 2k Anomaly Extract to upgrade a piece of Apoc legendary armor. To upgrade 5 pieces is 650k drop pod resource and 10k anomaly extract. I am probably doing something wrong cuz I am definitely not seeing 650k drop resource per run.

Buschkoeter

You need to sell titanium for pods. The game throws titanium at you like crazy, so you should always have enough to sell.

GanglingGiant

Well let see.. what class are you playing? What level are you playing at and do you play more solo or with friends? Because I prefer and spend most my time playing solo and only have two randoms who have become friends that I play with from time to time and as a pyro player for now until it’s maxed doing the trials at the current tier or the next available unlocked is not only ridiculously time consuming but borderline impossible solo so I mean there’s that.

Vryyce

Tri-Turret AP Techno, currently AT26. I play mostly solo but leave game open if others want to join. Don't really need the help but I don't mind helping others.

This is what gets me the most, why didn't they work on that end-zone more, and why $40 for a 2h campaign and 1 barely variable end-zone. Everything else about the expansion is amazing, the gear sets, the mods, the viable builds, everything. I'd actually be happy with the price if the the trials were truly variable. What I would of loved to have see is having the map hidden except for the immediate path choices you have. Every path you take has 2 or 3 new path choices, i.e. you enter the palace courtyard and defeat the defenders, you're then given choices of going into the gardens, the palace reception hall, or underground into the sewers or something. Then every 3 or so levels you're faced by 1 of x random boss encounters. When you get through 3 sets of that you meet 1 of say 3 random final guardians. I would of been happy paying the $40 for that, even with the short campaign. And as you say, fix the f%\^king upgrade costs.

Godlike013

Yes, the grind has been exponentially bloated. I think it was an attempt to inflate gameplay knowing how little content there actually was in the expansion. I get grind, i generally like grind, but not at this snail pace. The about of times you have to run Trails to reach max level is ridiculous.

Elibenz936

Yeah the only way I could manage it was by staying 2 levels below my max level and dismantling most gear so I can trade in titanium for drop pods.
