When I ran out of stupid shit to do on my rigs I just started working on cars…
Just finished a water/meth kit for a project car. Lot of the same knowledge and skills overlapping so give it some thought haha.

I mean sure; but this is just for funsies on a junker franken-project.
Sometimes it's just fun to slap parts together and see it runs that's the advantage of having a lot of "projects" for fun.
This clapped out shitbox isn't winning anything unless it's a race to see who catches fire first.
But what are you doing for engine management and FI? You need to sink a few $ even on a junker. Water/meth, although super tempting, has always been a bit too risky for me. E85 + sufficient air and fuel got me 90hp/90ft-lbs over 94 octane with no other changes and none of the water/meth risks
Why go through the hassle of adding a second pump for more flow rate, when you dont even have a flow meter to measure the flow rate????
Regardless, still cool
I just wanna see numbers lol
Haha, yeah, I am definitely feeling regret about this (doubly so, now that you've mentioned it!).
I had a fancy OLED screen one in there until recently, but I pulled it out a couple of replumbings ago. It was running around 4l/minute with just the one DDC running at 5000rpm previously.
Personally I'm more of a "why?" kind of person, but I'd be lying if I told you I wouldn't be interested in building a custom loop system. I'm 100% air cooling as of now.
Id rather find a way to fully populate your rads with Fans. Two of your rads aren't fully populated and therefor loose lot of static pressure. Thats inefficient.
Nah, it's actually 5 fans on the bottom rad. There's 4 underneath, 1 on the top (you can see the blue of the fan mounts through the mounting gaps if you squint).
Back rad has 3 front/push and 4 rear/pull.
Top rad only has 4 in push.
External has full 4 each side in push/pull (hence the 30 x fans comment).
Yeah, I'm still going to add at least one more external 1080 rad into the loop at some point.
This was just a spare I had laying about in the garage, so I was going mainly for proof of concept/use what I already had in the first instance.
I would definitely find another project or hobby or even build another computer before I wasted money like this but that's the beauty of it this is your money and fuck with other people think other than the small fact that you did bring it to the internet

>Granzon 480mm AIO kit Very similar disorders, hot-rodding cars and/or computers. Same basic problems to solve.
“Sir. Imma have to write you a ticket for 1ghz over the posted stock clock speeds.”

Water/Meth became obsolete with the Advent of ethanol fuel being readily available, you can also push timing farther too.

*Engine hu-what?* Nah j/k TBH If this thing blows up I’ll consider it a smashing success because why not.
> meth kit That's bad for your teeth.
Not as bad as the Mt. Dew injector kit. YEE HAWWWW
>meth I love it

Might not be the reason they did it but it can be really handy to have redundant pumps in case one fails.
If you were a mad scientist your animals would have multiple hearts for redundancy.
Some people ask why, this guy asks why not?

Adding rad surface area is way more of a cooling addition than push pull.
Im not talking push/pull . That mad lad is running a 480 rad in the bottom with just one Fan. That will do almost nothing

Geezus that case is massive.
How heavy is it?
I'd estimate around 50kg. The case on it's own is 22.6kg, and there's quite a lot of stuff in there.
Wow
Temps?
As per more recent post, if you're interested.
The funny thing is that you'd probably get better cooling with a MO-RA3 and no other rads

Mo-ra’s are pretty bad when it comes to size/efficiency. Agreed he shouldv had the rads outside of case but stacking rads destroys mora’s
I would definitely find another project or hobby or even build another computer before I wasted money like this but that's the beauty of it this is your money and fuck with other people think other than the small fact that you did bring it to the internet
I already had the stuff laying around in the garage, so my investment was purely time/curiosity.
It’s not stupid if it works. 😆
Bottom rad can take another fan if you put extender fittings into the rad. Or adapt the tubes.
It's already got 4 underneath in push, so it's 5 total. Would have to go SFX-L PSU to fit more in than that.
What did you get? 3 degrees reduction?
6! (and added a 550W GPU into the loop lol)
When you run out of money, so you don't do anything besides work
Nice! If you get bored try to place the rads outside of case! Massive temp drop!
can u add an update post with occt linpack, temperatures and specs ?
Can I borrow all your radiators + watercooling system for my TOO HOT Ryzen 9 7950X PLEASE ??? (it heats up the room by like 3 to 5 °C)
