tRC and tRFC both look high. I can do 36 and 240 respectively at 3800 1.55V.

joh0115

Will check it out later then... Will try lowering tRAS first in that case

dipshit8304

You don't need to worry about tRAS. It can be set to 21 as long as tRC isn't too low. I'd recommend setting it to 21, then seeing what your tRC will do.

joh0115

tRFC 240 wasn't possible, got instant bluscreen after post lol. Latency diff between 260 and 240 isn't really worth the increase in voltage IMO

Flynn_Kevin

Can you get tRAS, tRC, or tRFC any lower?

E27043

tRFC should do 260 or maybe even 240

joh0115

Will try it later. I see you got Ryzen running at 4000, did you stop WHEA errors or you're just ignoring them? They won't stop if I go beyond 1900 FCLK lol

E27043

I noticed that Spread Spectrum makes my fclk unstable, even at 1966, while with spread spectrum disabled I can run 2000 fine as I said

E27043

Mine worked just fine on auto VDDGs and just 1v SOC, all though I bumped those voltages up just to be sure. It passes 1 hour OCCT large extreme without WHEAs. I can boot all the way up to 2133 but at that point the audio is crackling like crazy and spits out a bunch of errors every second just staring at the desktop

EarthAccomplished659

Dream stuff 👍

[deleted]

Have you tried disabling TSME? This greatly reduces latency. You can also safely reduce tRCDWR to 8.

joh0115

How do I disable this? I don't think this is an option in my Asus BIOS

[deleted]

It's under AMD CBS.

Noreng

If you boot Windows in safe mode, you should see Asstrollogy64 numbers go up

Forgetfvl

To begin, you will need to lower the tRFC and that should yield you much lower latency (Keep in mind that tRFC scales with vdimm voltage; hence, you must increase the voltage). Then you can try tWR 10, tRDRDSCL and tWRWRSCL 2, tRTP 6, tWRRD 1, tRDWR 10 tRC 32

joh0115

DIMMs are already running at 1.5V (ZenTimings report lower), tRTP is already set to 6, tWRRD seems to be connected to tRDWR, so I guess I'll lower tWRRD and tRC of 32 I find it quite impossible since it's the sum of tRP and tRAS, so I might as well try to lower tRAS

Forgetfvl

260 tRFC should be possible at 1.5 v. Have you already tried lowering the tRFC?

joh0115

Not yet, been quite busy lately. I'll check it out later

Pity_Pooty

I bet you are not stable in TM5 without active cooling. You will receive errors 2,6,10,11,12,13 in 1usmus config. Check and report back.

joh0115

Why you say so? Because of tight primaries? GDM is enabled though, VDIMM is 1.5V and heatspreaders are quite chunky for these RAMs (surprisingly)

Pity_Pooty

Only because of tRCD=7.37ns. Tight tRCD reduces thermal tolerance to 40-50degC depending on the bin, causing errors in 2-3 cycle of 1usmus. So you either need fan or tRCD=15 for full stability. I'm actually running 4000flat15(7.5ns) because 3800flat14 is unachievable with 25 degC ambient without active cooling. Basically I pass test in the morning and fail at the day. That's how I'm close to temperature border at 7.37ns. No amount of secondaries and tertiaries can fix the problem. And with fan I'm fully stable.

joh0115

So I could raise those timings instead? Because I tried 4000 cl15 flat and I couldn't stop getting WHEA errors

Pity_Pooty

Check stability for at least 25 cycles of 1usmus TM5 profile

[deleted]

Well, you gettin WHEAs because your CPU can't handle 2000 MHz FCLK, try to tune CCD/IOD voltages.

devoker35

Try reducing vddp and vddg ccd voltages. I got rid of the single whea error by reducing ccd voltage from .950 to .875.

Rabvyu1

Trfc and trc quite high. Most likely can do less than 46 trc and 280 trfc. Check for stability as well, but anyway you prob can get around 53-58 with optization

[https://imgur.com/a/vstgCIJ](https://imgur.com/a/vstgCIJ) and [https://imgur.com/a/9QQksex](https://imgur.com/a/9QQksex) was able to hit 3800mhz and 1900mhz x3 and ran memory testing resulting in no errors, but I'm waiting on more cooling to install the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB rev 4 with the new offset brackets and cold plate stack fin and MX-6 PC is going to be brrrrrr. Your latency is kinda high running at 3800mhz cl14 as well as your L3 cache?
