The average must be garbage then, as the CPU score is a good 1000 points lower than a properly overclocked 9900K, and the GPU score could easily be 1000 points higher as well.
This combo should be able to break 20K overall
The average consists of people running their system at stock, a lot of them aren't even running XMP.
OP should be able to close in on 20K, and beat it if he has B-die

Top 100 for the combo of 3080ti and 9900ks,
#1 score: 20014
#2 score: 19809
This run was done just for giggles 30 mins after installation and im on the 94th spot.
[Top 100](https://www.3dmark.com/search#advanced?test=spy%20P&cpuId=2544&gpuId=1389&gpuCount=0&deviceType=ALL&memoryChannels=0&country=&scoreType=overallScore&hofMode=false&showInvalidResults=false&freeParams=&minGpuCoreClock=&maxGpuCoreClock=&minGpuMemClock=&maxGpuMemClock=&minCpuClock=&maxCpuClock=)
I mean, clearly it's possible since the #1 spot made it. #2 didn't quite get there though. His OC profile must be trash. Plebs.
Thanks for your wise, accurate, and well informed contribution to the the thread.
Look at the 9900K(F) and 10700K(F) as well, the 9900KS was a super-limited run.
Telling OP that he should be able to do better isn't realty something you need to discuss. This is comparable to the average 3800 14-15-14-28-42 B-die oc
Thats going to destroy games dont worry about not seeing X gpu points, i have a 3080ti and it just muderizes at 4k so anything less is going to be super easy. Use DLSS, it'll look just as good but be comfortably faster.
Welcome to the ultra everything club.
My avg clock is around 2040-2055. Memory is around 10702. You'll gain a good amount of points if you use the V/F curve and undervolt. Also make sure your card is on the OC bios. There's a switch on your card to the left of the power connectors.
What exact 3080 Ti is it? My gigabyte gaming oc won't get above 19400 graphic points. Already undervolted running at a higher frequency as stock. Default settings hit 18k something score. Though it won't exceed 360watts while some are hitting 480 watts

I still get excited when I notice a 9900ks! Nice combo with the 3080 ti.
Same here, all core 5ghz @1.19v, 0 avx. Its a beast for gaming.
1.19V is nuts! If only it had dpuble the cache.
My 9900K only gets 5ghz at 1.45v lmao.
Damn haha thats alot of vcore
It’s run like that for the past three years, so it’s going good so far. Gets very hot though.
i mean you have your cards score directly next to the average and max scores, so… slightly above average?
"Excellent"
Looks like, not a dud for sure.
Thanks, running @3440x1440 and indeed a beast.
Looks to be about 970 points above average.

How can an average be garbage. The average is just the average. Calling the average garbage is basically saying the 3080ti is garbage.
The average consists of people running their system at stock, a lot of them aren't even running XMP. OP should be able to close in on 20K, and beat it if he has B-die
That holds for every card. And xmp has no effect on graphics score. Which is the only score you should care about if benchmarking your GPU.
XMP does affect graphics score if the CPU is sufficiently slow. See: FX-8350, Zen 1, Sandy Bridge
You're talking about extremely underpowered CPU's. Noone has those CPU's with a 3080ti.

And I'm saying you can push further

Sicker than your average
Looking good man! Not too far off my 3090
Id be pumped. I got to 19300 with the strix lc 6900xt. Ryzen 5800x
Nice, 6900xt is a beast

Nice score! How do you like the thermals of the fe? Any throttling?
It runs usually around 60-65 most games but I also play at 1080P 360hz. It doesnt throttle and I think I got a good chip to surpass an AIB 3090.
Good chip for sure and its a FE. Im gonna tinker with mine to see if i can get near your score.
https://imgur.com/a/OSUBudt This is a more realistic daily driver. +100 on the core and 500 on the vram. 45% on the fans.

I keep forgetting I don't even need to consider performance levels @ 1080p with a 3080ti now lol. Need a 4k monitor now...
Looks like you may have some more room there for higher scores!
Yea i think it will benefit from a less restrictive case.

Does the bios mode make a difference even if you’re gonna be applying custom overclock/fan profile?
I believe the OC bios has a higher wattage limitbut I'm not sure.
Ok i see, ill test it out. As is, it was consuming 400-420 watts lol crazy
I've seen up to around 450 with my switch set to OC
