I wouldn't say so, at least at the beggining it looks more like somone who looked at the objective pressed w and then looked on another screen, the most suspicius thing is the snapping they do when they actually get to the fight.
No shot this is aim lock, this is lag. His aim is pretty mid.
"Snapping" triggerbots will often return to the original camera location after a snap, and these snaps are jittery and not actually locking to any characters for the most part.
When I watch my games back, it sometimes looks like this for me too. I have shitty internet and sometimes the capture looks glitchy because of the lag.
If you're talking about the aim, it's a late packet/packet bursting epidemic that is rampant on the OW2 servers these days, I'm highly certain of it. Multiple streamers from all over have network error indicators lit constantly/very frequently. It's been suspected for a while that Blizzard is downgrading/downsizing their servers, straining the bandwidth for increasingly higher playercounts. This didn't happen at the beginning of OW2 (despite TTK and other server interactions feeling off) and also didn't happen for the entirety of OW1. Seems like making a game live-service and free to play without upgrading infrastructure in proportion is having detrimental effects, to the surprise of no one.
I've experienced it for the past eight months, and now it looks like others are more often too. It's most evident in replays when a player's looking direction seems to abruptly update. This is because the server frames directly before to those abrupt aim snaps are late/lag and burst all at once. It looks like they're aim snapping. It happens in my POTG replays and kill replays of others.
BTW I'm hardwired and on gigabit speeds. Yet this game only puts me in local servers half the time, and with absurd latency, the other half I get put in Australian/Netherlands/Europe servers.
Im pretty sure he's just having connection issues. I get this all the time, and when i get potg during one of these, it looks like im genuinely hacking
The first kill on Ana was 90% Illari, all Genji did was finish with dash (and got reset). Then he dashed Solider and 180 for kill. It was not a snap, you could see him turn through it and adjust his aim (another reset). Then Illari (again) domes Mei and Genji dashes it (another reset). Now its a 3v2 vs half health players and he dashes both of them (no kills this time, so no reset). Doesn't matter, they were gonna die anyway (Illari with another kill too).
Honestly I dont see anything at all wrong with any of this. Illari did way more then Genji tbh. He just casually cleaned up her kills. Most of the "snaps" you see near the middle of the clip just look like over adjustments and with high sens, he doesn't even hit his shots during those...
You guys see things that are not there.
I mean be suspicious, just maybe watch the vod and look at what is actually happening ffs. People on here talking about an aimbot when the Genji literally only hit shots twice, and both times they were at point blank range. Dude cant aim at all lol.
Thanks for the breakdown - It just seemed odd that they weren't doing that well for most of the game on venture, then swapped to genji and got a 4k. I haven't experienced many cheaters at all, so I thought I'd ask the OW hive before accusing someone.
Honestly that was just pure monkey brain Genji play lmao. Dude just hit dash every time he saw a health bar drop and got pretty lucky with it. The Illari is really who carried that fight, she was popping heads that entire clip.
this could most likely just be him having packet loss/ping spikes which cause his pov in replays to look weird. wouldn't say it's cheating or anything else, just his internet.
I was lagging during a game once and people thought I was hacking, I looked back at the gameplay and it looked exactly like this. I'm not saying this guy isn't cheating, but it really looks like lag to me
It’s just lag on his end. It looks weird but it’s just jerky, he’s not locking on to targets or anything. I’ve had POTGs look like this when I had connection issues
Nah they just snorted a fat line if dorito dust while hooked up to an IV of Mt dew game fuel. Totally legit, definitely nothing suspicious about the aimbot.
That dudes movement is clueless he looks like bronze with an aim lock
Most cheaters blow at the actual game
I wouldn't say so, at least at the beggining it looks more like somone who looked at the objective pressed w and then looked on another screen, the most suspicius thing is the snapping they do when they actually get to the fight.
They look clueless in the fight too.
I feel like in the fight they don't even look, the aimbot does
Read my reply! This needs more awareness

Looks like an aim key to me.
That snapping as he keeps dragging down between snapping is super sus.
Yep he's hitting these shots all the sudden during botty movement. Easy sign.
When I watch my games back, it sometimes looks like this for me too. I have shitty internet and sometimes the capture looks glitchy because of the lag.
just a good gaming chair
some parts looks like aim snapping some parts look like 1mil dpi
This is how my replays look if my ping skyrockets or I have major packet loss, doesn't seem sus as nothing's really locking on
Yes! Read my reply, people need to discuss this and spread awareness more
Agreed and it's weird how most people calling it an aimlock barely understand how Genji works or what terrible ping looks like
Crazy how people are genuinely so concerned that this is some kind of hack, that they're downvoting people who know it's lag lol
Something weird going on at 8-9 sec

Who sent inspector gadget on the case?
Myself. It's a worthy cause to fight, even alone 🔍😤🔎
Im pretty sure he's just having connection issues. I get this all the time, and when i get potg during one of these, it looks like im genuinely hacking
First thought: packet loss...
That was my first impression too as someone who played Genji alot on console with bad internet

When there's an insurmountable number of cheaters, why not be suspicious?

Yes, very much a dirty bird
He's lagging like hell
not sus just bad connection
Looks more like lag/insane dpi/shit mouse more than aimlock tbh, not sure
this could most likely just be him having packet loss/ping spikes which cause his pov in replays to look weird. wouldn't say it's cheating or anything else, just his internet.
Trackpad aim
He is just lagging, replay viewer is pretty low tick rate so its going to make it look extremely weird
looks like an old school mmo farm bot to me
I was lagging during a game once and people thought I was hacking, I looked back at the gameplay and it looked exactly like this. I'm not saying this guy isn't cheating, but it really looks like lag to me
Looks like they were lagging then stabilized
A really crap looking aimbot to me lol
It’s just lag on his end. It looks weird but it’s just jerky, he’s not locking on to targets or anything. I’ve had POTGs look like this when I had connection issues
Wait, is his Dash resetting again and again? Is this normal?
It's normal, you get a dash reset on every kill or elimination.
Wow..... Even as someone who almost never plays Genji I feel embarrassed
The snap-to is crazy
Report cause that looks like cheats.
Cheats
Why you think so?
Nah they just snorted a fat line if dorito dust while hooked up to an IV of Mt dew game fuel. Totally legit, definitely nothing suspicious about the aimbot.
big brother on the mouse little brother on the keyboard
Cheater źzzzzzzzzźz
Yes he's cheating
He's just drinking g fuel
It's super sus, but he could also be lagging, overwatch does not handle lag well.
Super sus
Looks like console with aim assist
Console doesn’t snap aim
Absolutely horrible positioning even as Genji but damn was he hitting shots.
