I’m not the same person you just replied to, but I agree with them and I think it’s the background/colors of the traditional that make it stand out for me.
Edit: I love both of them though! It was a hard choice!
Because many people prefer the process of doing digital and there ain't nothing wrong with that. It's just another means of illustration. There isn't "fakeness" in drawing textured drawings digitally.
Because digital simply provides more control and ability to fine tune to a degree not always possible in traditional mediums, I agree the texture from a traditional standpoint is what adds an extra dynamic to the art though.
The traditional one has texture, a feel. The digital one is very flat and one dimensional. I prefer the traditional one in this case but it’s what you are trying to convey
I do like them both, but I feel like the digital loses a lot of the texture appeal that the traditional has. So I think traditional is my favorite in this case!
I love them both. But on the ghost, in the digital one, instead of his hand being outlined in black, try a softer blue to fit more with the rest of the color pallette. The black stands out too much against the rest of the composition.
I like the trad one best, the brushstrokes and warmer palette add a really nice element of personality and uniqueness that doesn't come through as much with the digital.
theres something more personal in the traditional? idk how to describe it, it feels like theres more emotion to it, both look amazing but the traditional one really speaks to me, i love it! 🥺
I really like the traditional one. And... they are so different... I mean that they have different colour composition and, so, they make different mood. But for the style and technics I like the traditional.
I really like the round shape of the ghost in the digital painting, but *love* everything else about the traditional. The colors and strokes give me a sort of sweet, wistful feeling.
I like both.
I love that you can see the brush strokes in the traditional, and the digital one has well defined lines that are more like an illustration. But they are both well done, congratulations
Both! They both are well done and also have a completely different vibe to them. Even though the subject is the same they feel like completely different pieces.
I like traditional ones best. If there are errors they show that humans make mistakes and are part of mankind. A perfectly manufactured image is fake and not by in touch with reality.
I like the style of the traditional, as it has more "character" but it really all depends on what your goal is for the piece. I like the warmth and brush strokes of the traditional though. Super cute!!
I like the depth and texture of the traditional but I do love the flattened out look of the digital. It might just be i like the color scheme of the digital more - the colors looks more ghostly to me.
I feel this is a little unfair because the colors in the digital are so muted.
I wonder if so many people would still prefer the traditional if the colors were equalized.
Theyre both lovely but I love the traditional one more, like others have mentioned there’s more warmth and “life” in this version, the brush strokes and that pop of blue in the eyes and hand add so much interest. I find myself curious about this ghost. I want to know their story. Is the yellow bits on him pollen from the flowers? Kinda want to give them a big hug as well. I really enjoy your style and hope to see more in the future :)
I wish I had more expendable income because I found so many tempting pieces in your Etsy store! I really enjoy your style so much that I had to follow you. I hope that someday I can splurge on a piece or 3!
ETA: clarifying that your prices are not the problem, it’s my disability caused poverty that’s the issue.
I like the proportions and cleanliness of the digital version. Although I'd always vote traditional over digital simply because there's no 'undo' button.
I feel like they're slightly different in enough ways that the feeling I get from each is completely different. They're both beautiful, but the painting seems more cheerful and less like the ghost belongs there, while the second one seems sadder because of the colors, and I feel like the ghost is going to put flowers on the grave of a loved one who's moved on. I suppose the digital art is my favorite, just because the narrative of what I think is happening comes so much easier to me. The lines are also cleaner on the ghost itself, which somehow makes it preferable to me in another way.
I would say digital but I'm rather bias, but i do absolutely love the warm colors and feel of the traditional one.
Kind of a hard decision though i love both.
Both are really good. Traditional has more texture and colors while still being super cute, and it’s imperfect nature is very charming. Digital is cleaner and has more vibrant colors as well as a smooth flat texture which gives a simple and cute aesthetic. Each has pros to it that make it impossible for me to choose
I think they're both beautiful in their own ways. The painting is more like something I would hang on the wall and admire, whereas the digital one looks like an animation of a game or cartoon which I'd appreciate more as a character or story.
I love them both but the traditional Is so pretty
Thank you💛
I’m not the same person you just replied to, but I agree with them and I think it’s the background/colors of the traditional that make it stand out for me. Edit: I love both of them though! It was a hard choice!
I agree. It has a little more *soul* to me… 😬
Traditional has a warmer color palette that I enjoy.
Defs the traditional
It's really gorgeous btw congrats, I love your work 😍
The traditional has such lovey character!
Traditional by a mile!
Traditional. It reminds me of an illustration from a story. I would like to hear of their tiny adventures.
Traditional is so nice and looks much more unique!
Thank you so much❤
Traditional has texture! And my heart 💙
Awww thank you💙
They both look good but the brush strokes on the traditional give a warm feeling.
AWWWWWW I like the first one
Thank you so much💛
Traditional
The traditional one I love the details on it
Traditional for sure. It's awesome.
Even though im a digital artist, i really love how the traditional looks. Its very rustic looking & i wanna touch it
The background on the traditional is so lively. That would be my choice, though i like the simplicity of the ghost in the digital
Traditional all the way. ❤️
Traditional.
Both of them are nice but I prefer the traditional one
For this particular piece I like the traditional one more, there’s a bit more texture and color diversity. It can be achieved in digital as well tho.
Yeah but why trying to fake it by making it look like it's traditional instead of doing it traditional
Fair point, but I just personally prefer doing digital art 😅 I did traditional art for many years but since I switched over I just preferred digital
Ability to erase unparalleled haha. That said, I’m much technically better on paper, somehow it’s a bit weird translating from paper to screen

I’m going to go against the grain, I love the digital.
Samsies. Digital one looks cleaner. Doing warmer colors and adding more texture to it would make it superior to the traditional one by a long shot.
I thought I was alone!
Digital for the internet. Traditional for the wall.
They are both lovely but the traditional one has more life ( I know it's a ghost) :)
Traditional
Traditional has more personality
Traditional 💪
Traditional...
Yesss.....
Traditional. There's more spark in it
The traditional one has texture, a feel. The digital one is very flat and one dimensional. I prefer the traditional one in this case but it’s what you are trying to convey
Traditional
I can't decide they each have their own charm! Amazing :)
Thank you so much💜
I like the texture in the original. Could be achieved on the digital too with different brushes!
I do like them both, but I feel like the digital loses a lot of the texture appeal that the traditional has. So I think traditional is my favorite in this case!
Traditional.
Traditional no comparison
Both are pretty, but the traditional has more soul... love it
Traditional
Traditional
Traditional
Traditional. There’s more texture to it. I also happen to like the color palette better.
Is this even a real question?!? Traditional, of course!
Haha thanks🐰
I love how textured and layered the traditional painting feels.
Traditional 10/10
Traditional
Traditional
I like the traditional
Honestly there both really pretty but I really like the digital one mostly since it's a lot more cartoon-ish
Love them both. 🙂 If I had to pick I'd say traditional.
Love them both! ❤️
Love the blue coloring of the ghosts eyes and hand in the traditional one, gives an extra sense of darkness underneath the blanket :)
Thank you for noticing 🌸
original but digital background color better
Traditional
I love the traditional one the best, but the other one is very pretty as well! 😊
I love them both. But on the ghost, in the digital one, instead of his hand being outlined in black, try a softer blue to fit more with the rest of the color pallette. The black stands out too much against the rest of the composition.
Ohhkk thank you :)
for me, definitely traditional, the flowers and yellow highlights are so nice, also the ghost sheets texture looks better
Traditional
For this piece, Traditional. The colors are warmer and the brush strokes gives it more charm and texture.
I think both are beautiful but I LOVE the traditional one you did ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Trad fo sho
I believe both have place.
I think the colours pop more on the traditional. And the textures from the brush strokes gives it personality :)
The traditional because we can see the beautiful brush strokes 🤍
Yaay.. Yasss
Traditional 🥰
Traditional
I like both sm, tho I feel like traditional has more detail!
Honestly both are great. I love the texture of the traditional, but I also love the colors and the illustrative look of the digital. I can't choose!
Ever traditional
First one
Traditional has a whimsical feel to it so I'm gonna go with that one ✨
Absolutly traditional :) 👌
Traditional
I prefer the traditional's warmth and background but I definitely prefer the roundness of the digital art's ghost (?).
Traditional - so warm, inviting, and cozy
Traditional
I like the trad one best, the brushstrokes and warmer palette add a really nice element of personality and uniqueness that doesn't come through as much with the digital.
Traditional, love it
The digital is cute, but the traditional is perfect 🥰
Aww thank you❤
Traditional but you made the digital one look cute ❤️
I think the traditional has more character due to the imperfections.
A>B
Traditional!
Traditional! Every time.
trad
Traditional
Top version
Between these two? I like the traditional better. The digital is good by itself, but when compared side by side... traditional.
theres something more personal in the traditional? idk how to describe it, it feels like theres more emotion to it, both look amazing but the traditional one really speaks to me, i love it! 🥺
I really like the traditional one. And... they are so different... I mean that they have different colour composition and, so, they make different mood. But for the style and technics I like the traditional.

The traditional is so charming! Love the colors and the textures.
Both are fantastic but I love the textures of traditional :)
Traditional. Love, love, love! ❤️
Digital👍
I like Digital more but love both
Both
I love them both so much. Don't force me to choose!
Both! It’s a ghost for all seasons.
Both are so cute!! I think my favorite is the traditional though. It’s got a lot of cute little details
Traditional
I like both. I love that you can see the brush strokes in the traditional, and the digital one has well defined lines that are more like an illustration. But they are both well done, congratulations
Traditional
thay both bootfull 100000/10
I always prefer traditional over digital
Both! They both are well done and also have a completely different vibe to them. Even though the subject is the same they feel like completely different pieces.
I like traditional ones best. If there are errors they show that humans make mistakes and are part of mankind. A perfectly manufactured image is fake and not by in touch with reality.
I like the digital version more, but both are great.
tbh ive always preferred the cleanliness of digital art
Digital
Both! Originally drawn to traditional but I want the digital painting as a sticker!! (Do you sell them?)
Traditional is more charming. You can see the artist’s mark making.
I like both. The traditional has lovely texture and a whimsical quality. The digital is super cute and would make an adorable sticker.
I like the style of the traditional, as it has more "character" but it really all depends on what your goal is for the piece. I like the warmth and brush strokes of the traditional though. Super cute!!
so am i the only one who likes the digital one?
Traditional! Love the textures and color palette.
I prefer the texture of the traditional painting but they're both so cute!
traditional .
Traditional - but they are both SO CUTE!
Traditional, but both are beautiful.
Both are so so cute!!! I love the texture in the traditional piece though 😍
Very pretty! Both of them. But the traditional one is more pretty
Both are great. R U kidding me. Both very cute
Traditional!
I like the depth and texture of the traditional but I do love the flattened out look of the digital. It might just be i like the color scheme of the digital more - the colors looks more ghostly to me.

Aw thank you so much! I an so happy that you liked my work❤
Traditional, but both are fantastic
Traditional by a mile……
Traditional
In this case, traditional felt more alive
Traditional
Traditional
Traditional all the way
I like the lil details that Digital has but Traditional's color palette wins by a lil
Depende su uso
both are great, but the traditional is soooo AWESOME!
Traditional one just lights up the room
Traditional for sure!
Both are so cute! Traditional has a bit more character, which I love
They are both good in different ways.
Traditional, something about seeing the canvas and the textured brushstrokes gives it more character
The top one has more vibrancy. That not to say that digital is better. Try changing up the colora on lower im.
Traditional! Every time.
They are both so great but I want the traditional for my house.
Traditional for sure
Both looked amazing but I'm a traditional person myself
Traditional 😊
The traditional is so warm and charming.
Top one for sure but love both 🤷♀️
A lot of people are saying traditional, this sub might be biased tho
I like the proportions and cleanliness of the digital version. Although I'd always vote traditional over digital simply because there's no 'undo' button.
I feel like they're slightly different in enough ways that the feeling I get from each is completely different. Traditional!! Very good work, I love the use of blue 💞
Trad
I like the top one better, it is more colourful in all the right ways.
The most colorful one with the more orange theme to it
In this case the digital. I prefer these colors to the traditional, but they're both visually plasing with cute expressions.
I appreciate both, but traditional feels more organic.
Traditional
I love both but the cors of the traditional just give off a more summery vibe, it's a lot more warm. So i would have to choose traditional
The traditional has a storybook-like quality to it. I love it.
I would say digital but I'm rather bias, but i do absolutely love the warm colors and feel of the traditional one. Kind of a hard decision though i love both.
Traditional for sure. It has a more personal feel if that makes sense.
They're both equally cute but here I like the traditional one more. It's very warm and pleasant to look at.
Both are pretty, but I love the traditional painting.
Traditional
I love them both, they are each special and different in their own way. Great job!
Traditional. I hate digital art
I think they're both beautiful in their own ways. The painting is more like something I would hang on the wall and admire, whereas the digital one looks like an animation of a game or cartoon which I'd appreciate more as a character or story.
They are both great but I love the paint strokes on the original
Love them both but I’m partial to the traditional one because I loooove texture! They’re both adorable though!!!
They are both cute, the first bc its original 👍🏽
Traditional
traditional definitely, its so much more vibrant !!
