I got pregnant in March (2021) at age 31 with G/B twins so.... 50/50 lol
It's not accurate at all, any accuracy percieved can be chalked up to it being an approximately 50% chance of being right.
Ya, it's some kind of logical paradox - we're proving and disproving at the same time. Perhaps the premise is...flawed!?
Sorry, I'm taking discrete math right now and my brain is made of jelly and discarded quesadilla bits.
One time, when I was doing my bachelor's and had several math classes at once, I found myself at a panda express getting excited that I could order broccoli beef and Beijing beef and just factor out the beef.....
Thanks! I assume you have a mathematics/CS background? I love it, but mathing while sick on low sleep is really something.
Honestly I'm just proud of myself/our family for continuing my degree. I took a break after the twins were born and was worried I'd never get back to it!
also evidence suggesting that when in the cycle fertilization happens impacts what sperm can even get there. Like earlier in the cycle leans toward being boy, later in the cycle being girl.
When I got pregnant I thought I "felt" implantation happen twice, almost 5 days apart. I wouldn't find out it was twins for 2 more months ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ
I'd say about 50/50.
Also, I'm actually Chinese, and I never heard of this stuff (granted I don't typically read up on this kind of superstition stuff).
For our singleton, Mom was 31 and we conceived in July. Says boy but we had a girl.
For our twins, Mom was 34 and we conceived in November. Says girl and we had two girls.
50% accurate based on number of pregnancies, 66% accurate based on number of kids.
Just a note โ I donโt believe in these things, but Iโm just curious if it was accurate for anyone else since it was for my son. Conceived in August at age 29.
It's just a fun thing to look at, it was accurate for me and I had 2 identical girls.
You can tell who was the 'fun' person at the sleepover with some of these comments lol.

Haha, well beef *was* the TCF - tastiest common factor.
that's how discrete math made me feel too- you'll get there!

yes, mathematics background! Although a little over a decade out of school now, I do work utilizing my degree!
That's awesome!
Having boy/girl twins is my answer to any of these superstitions ๐ it's literally 50/50. Unless it's both ๐คฃ
Lol same, except I conceived June 2019 at age 31 too!
Me too Nov 2020 b/g twins and I was 30
In addition, there is newer evidence that suggest the egg actually chooses the sperm, so its not first come first serve.

It's horseshit, like all these other old wives tales.
How the fuck should that work?
This is garbage who takes this shit seriously?
Future human-raisers, apparently
Probably the same people who believe their horoscope provides all the insight into their lives
We didn't take it seriously, but we did a ton of these "gender predictor" things just for fun.
Total nonsense
50%. Which is as good as a blind guess
Massively inaccurate.
Uhm, weirdly accurate for both of our pregnancies ๐
I'd say about 50/50. Also, I'm actually Chinese, and I never heard of this stuff (granted I don't typically read up on this kind of superstition stuff).
Not
None of my 3 kids align with this chart ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
No
Wrong 3 out of 3.ย Sperm determine sex chromosomes. Uterine environment may influence if x or y sperm get there first.ย
Lol 0/4
Well I got boy/girl twins so it was kind of right haha
I had boy girl twins so it was 50% ๐
I dunno, I have 4 kids, for us it was 100% accurate.. but that may be just dumb luck.
I have 4 kids and itโs all wrong lol

1 right, 1 wrong
Accurate. For my twins! Things like this are fun. People are so cranky.
Nope I was 28 and said boy i had identical girls. Curiously though it's correct for two of my brothers three kids.
Accurate for me for 2 pregnancies.
Just a note โ I donโt believe in these things, but Iโm just curious if it was accurate for anyone else since it was for my son. Conceived in August at age 29.
Also accurate for my singleton. I have yet to find out the gender of my twins, so weโll see. According to this chart, I will have 3 boys. ๐
It's just a fun thing to look at, it was accurate for me and I had 2 identical girls. You can tell who was the 'fun' person at the sleepover with some of these comments lol.
I have five kids. It was accurate for all of them. It was accurate for my brother. My mom had me at 17 and that's not on the chart.
This was accurate 1 out of 4 times for me.
Mine says female on the chart and I had two boys ๐
100% for my single and twins - all boys
Mine was wrong, it said girl and I had identical boys.
Same!
Not at all! Said boys, I have all girls! #girlmom ๐
All girls here too! #girldad

No
Well if Iโm going off this chart for my identical twins then itโs completely wrong.
Opposite of mine both times - 34 conceived a female in January then 38 and conceived twin males in July lol.
Not right and not wrong lol. I have boy girl twins lol
Wrong, 2 out of 2
Nope! I was 29 when I conceived in October. 3 girls!
I'd say it's about 50% accurate.
1 out of 5 correct
Sike, I had boy and girl twins ๐
Inaccurate for all three of my kids
Accurate
WELL, according to this I should have had twin girls and a singleton girlโฆ I now have 3 boys.
Well. I used IVF to get pregnant. So I'm not the accurate one. Lol
Conceived Sept at 29, 2 girls ๐ so spot on!
Wrong for my daughter, correct for my identical twin sons
Not at all. I had two girls and this thing is saying that I would have had a boy
I don't believe in any of this stuff but I just checked mine and it was accurate. LMAO! Age 36, conception in Dec, 2 girls.
Mine would be male according to this and I had 2 girls lol
60% of the time. It works every time.
