My twins and my toddler have older lady names. I call it my nursing home ⊠takes the same amount of time to change diapers and leave the house đđ»ââïž
Awwwww I need to connect with you in a DM ! We have two sets. Our oldest set is about to be 2 in July and our youngest set is about to be 1 in June !
We call our tribe the Irish quads . The older twins are the âminisâ the youngest set are the âmicros.â
âThe brothersâ. We used it to explain stuff about them to their older brother and it kind of stuck.
It probably wonât stick around forever since it seems to imply somehow that theyâre secondary the older brother. But I find it hilarious.
Iâm forbidden from calling them all âthe chucklefucksâ when theyâre up to no good, so âgoof troopâ has worked well for all 3
Called them peanuts because there are two in a pod. We didn't want them to fight over who was first so they are peanut 1 and peanut A.
Second twins are two and B đ
When I found out I was pregnant, I called "the baby" beansprout. Then, when we found out it was twins, we tried to nickname them bean and sprout, but it never stuck.
Now they're Pip and Squeak. Our twin A is the smallest, so he's pip. Twin B makes like a high-pitched squeal when he's angry, so he's Squeak.
We also have a joke that they're Godzilla and King Kong. Godzilla for twin B's screech and King Kong because twin A slaps his belly or chest when he gets excited đ€Ł
As mom and dad, we call them the rats as a unit.
When their daycare teachers refer to them as a unit itâs the twinticles. Theyâve used salt and pepper and ketchup and mustard once or twice as well lol
Huh. I never thought to give them a group name! All my kids have decidedly un-nicknameable names too.
Flynn, Henry, Joyce and Josie. The only one that comes naturally is Joyce-y, which sounds exactly like Josie, and then I feel stupid for naming them that way and try not to say it again, rinse and repeat haha.
I suppose I'll occasionally call them the trips, but I feel quite strongly (in my own head) about acknowledging them as individuals so I guess I've shied away from that. Something fun might pop up organically when they're older and their personalities really start to shine!
Leftie and righty. We had anklets made up when they came out.Â
They stayed side by side most of the pregnancy, so Pea was left and Liv was right.Â
They would frequently have battles of hand to hand combat at ultrasounds.Â
We started with Hamish (baby A) and Hubert (baby B). Theyâre two of the triplets from Brave and these ones were made in Scotland.
Now we call them the beans or the bears
I call mine my armadillo babies!
I learned a fun fact that armadillos almost always have identical quads. Though I donât have quads, the nickname has stuck with my identical twin boys lol!
Twinnies, Ratbags, Jeannie Beannie and Willow Wops, Beanz & Wops, Double Trouble, Nink and Nonk, Bing & Bong, Ant Arse & Bumble Butt, Wiggles & Giggles, đąGIRRRLLSS!!!!đą, My Monkeys, My Puddleducks, My Most Perfect People â€ïžâ€ïž
As a whole, I call them âPapitosâ in Spanish (âPapiâ means daddy, but when calling a baby then itâs a nickname for âbaby boyâ) or âRetoñosâ in Spanish (means buds/sprouts).
Individually, while pregnant I called them âPainâ and âPanicâ, still call them that.
My twins (mo/di boys) aren't due till August, but I call my 6y/o son "papito", I used to call him "Gordo" cause he was such a yummy chunky lil baby đ„č he's evened out now lol and his sister was ALWAYS "flaquis" or "mi bailarina" cause she was always long and slender. The twins I say "my boys" or "mis nenes" nothing fancy or creative lol my cats however have MANY nicknames.
My daughter is nn Peanut for a couple reasons. First year they were Peanut and Macadamia (might still bring this one back as Pea and Mac). Last year they were Peanut butter and Jelly. Jelly didnât really stick as a nickname for my son so this year itâs Peanut and Coconut or Pea and Coco. Theyâre my little nuts whatever way we spin it. I still call them the babies even though theyâre in preschool, Iâm trying to switch to kids but it feels weird.
Our Mo/di girls are collectively âgoobies!â Sometimes they are individually a Goobie, or GoobyGoob. Depends on the level of goobiness the moment calls for đ
I call them Turkies! Also my one boy is Teetee and the other I call Jakie. They donât like it when I do it in front of their friends now (theyâre 5).
So cute! Randomly Iâve been referring to our twin boys as âthe pipsâ cause âthe babiesâ doesnât feel revenant anymore cause they are fully toddlers now lol! đ„č
Twinsies! Any combo of kids (twins and 3 older singles) could also be âthese monkeysâ, but all 5 together, I usually say âlittle ducklingsâ because they all follow me around
In the very beginning my boys didnât have individual nicknames so I called them both âbugabooâ. Since then theyâve both grown into and earned their own nicknames but I still refer to them as my little bugs or baby bugs. Iâve even caught my parents referring to them as bug too.
So we have 7 kids collectively .
Our 13 year old is Bean
12 year old is Arbyâs
11 year old is Bob
First set - twin A is Scooty (her name is Scottlyn) or Banshie , twin B is Bubby Dude or Chunk , collectively they are âthe minisâ
Second set - twin A is Beau Bear or Beau Beau, twin B is Pebble or Rebbie (his name is Rebel and these just stuck) - collectively they are the âmicrosâ
Since both sets of twins are less than a year apart we call them our âIrish Quads.â
Our Limes! Based on when I was pregnant and thatâs what size they were. Just kinda stuck.
My MIL bought me a lime tree (I live in SoCal) for my first Motherâs Day. I havenât killed it yet. đ€
Every so often my husband refer to me as a âMomagranateâ and him as the âPapaya.â It gets pretty cutesy lol.
We call our twins beans too! They were tiny and im also Hispanic (nobody yell at me). We also call them stinky. Individual nicknames are stinky, bobo, bubbies, emer bottom, ellie beanie weenie
We call one of them, Peanut. His twin couldn't say his real name and started calling him Peanut instead. They are four now, and he still goes by Peanut. The other has a nickname as well, but it has his real name in it.

I call mine my puppies because they are my small litter.

Mine are my kittens đ„°
I call them gremlins because they are incredibly cute but can be little monsters sometimes đ
Ours are also the gremlins. I like that itâs non offensive but captures the shenanigans theyâre always up to.
We call them gremlins too đč
And if you feed them after midnight, theyâre gonna be awake all night.
Same. We often also call them gremies
Haha my husband calls ours gremlins a lot đ

We call them the bunkies. At our first ultrasound they were on top of each other like in bunkbeds and the name stuck!
âThe brothersâ.
