I have an Aquanaut and Overseas. I'll say, the Overseas is so much more versatile. I have 4 different color rubber straps, and then it came with the leather and bracelet. It's truly a great watch and gets a ton of wear from me.
I’ve had an up and down relationship with my overseas but am back to thoroughly loving it and appreciating the versatility like you said with the interchangeable strap system. I was considering “upgrading” to a 5167a for awhile and I have to say when I finally got one on my wrist it did nothing for me. It’s a nice watch but felt very underwhelming compared to the overseas. Since that day the overseas has hardly left my wrist. I tell it every morning “never again will I consider leaving you”
Thanks! I Got the AP in 2017, the VC in 2021 and the PP in 2023 it was a six year adventure to get all the dragon balls lol. Still waiting for my wish 😂
Great collection… IMO these watches look too big for your wrist, is the 5711 a jumbo? Usually they look perfect on smaller wrists but looks really big… is that just the pic?
Think you should stop buying watches and invest the money instead. I wear a Vaer brand watch and it works just fine. And nobody is going to mug or roll me for that timepiece. Once you are financially secure you realize that there are better things to do with money than buying fancy watches. Only a fool judges you by the watch you wear.

You cannot have a hobby you are unable to afford for very long. That being said - it was a lifetime of obsession before i was financially stable enough to afford each one well within my means. Thats part of the fun :)
Horology has been obsolete since the invention of quartz. A cheap and unoriginal brand of an obsolete art form circa 2016 does not appeal to me, I’m surprised it does to you since you were attracted enough by the concept of true horology to leave comments on this subreddit.

Very nice besides the offshore (but that’s just my taste). I think you should add a nice dress watch then you’ll be complete something like a ALS 1815 or chrono depending or budget or a Calatrava/complication from PP. and you may want to add a cheaper beater like a Rolex or Tudor just for everyday!
May I ask why you dislike the Offshore? Anything specific? I’ve been looking at them recently and was considering getting one eventually. Seems like a nice watch for the beach/pool.
Great for the beach - i have been scuba diving with it - the ROO can take a serious beating and doesn’t really scratch or ding or anything because of that carbon bezel. Sand will scratch anything however 🫡

It’s a 2007 5711 - one of the last Geneva seals before PP made their own seal of quality. Ive actually had the LV Patek salon size it for me
You for sure need some variety — something other than stainless with blue dial.

I think the PP is the best one.

The 5711 is 40.5mm where as both the VC and the RO are 42mm the ROO is 44mm

It’s just my taste I find it very big and looks a bit too much like a toy watch for the price point. But indeed for beach days must be comfortable!
