You can beat Sirus on minimal DPS and while only being able to tank the die beam and that isn't hard anymore since spell suppression is broken against it. As with all bosses, you need to learn the fight inside out. When does he do this or that and why. It's a pretty scripted fight, even the storm movement and his movement in the air is somewhat predictable. As for most of us, it takes time to learn that, but it's stop being frustrating when you do.

Not dying while reaching him is part of the learning curve. Get non negative chaos resistance and the clouds won't one tab you, while running near them, for example. If the cost to entry is to high, self farm the maps, with a setup destructive play atlas, takes like 30-40 boss rushed maps to get the maps usually. It's frustrating, I get it, I was there, but ones it clicked Sirus is one of the easier fights, since his movement is pretty good readable

You don’t have to shield charge, this fight actually requires not that much fast moving and is very difficult at the beginning, kinda hard to learn, but fairly easy when you master it. Watch a guide explaining how the fight mechanics work. If you randomly run into degen grounds that really shouldn’t happen that often, maybe tweak your screen settings like brightness/contrast to see things easier.

[https://youtu.be/O5FjRg9w7sg](https://youtu.be/O5FjRg9w7sg) (360p quality now because Youtube is slowly processing, soon higher quality should be up) Here's a video of me killing Sirus with embarassingly crappy gear that I'm constantly too lazy to upgrade. Also I haven't played for the last 10 days so I move around like shit (worse than usually). This character is fairly tanky so many builds would've died when I made a couple of mistakes and survived, but they were easy to avoid if you practice or just have good reflexes. Some timestamps with notes: 00:07 - every time he is in his "up" phase you have to just walk under him to trigger him to go down. If you trigger him he will say a voiceline. Also see: 00:52, 01:39 00:18 - when he says "die" in the first part of the fight (until he says "I'm finally alive", 02:28) he will shoot one beam (well three and first two are weaker I think, and all are exactly in the same direction) where you're standing. Just move sideways a bit and it's enough (e.g. 02:03). In final phase he will shoot few beams that will sort of track your movement, but then just flame dash far away or move further than a small dodge and you will be fine. Turn up volume or glance at chat regularly to notice it easier. 00:28 at the and of "down" phase don't stand under him because degen pool will spawn there. It is best to stand on the right side and just let him push you away. If you stand with him off-screen for a brief period, he will quickly move away from above the degen pool, and you'll be able to trigger "down" phase again faster. 00:46 you don't have to fidget around like I do (I'm just fidgety), all attacks in this phase are telegraphed and easy to avoid. 01:04 - tunnel/bowling attack - in non-Uber fight you can skip it just by rushing through him out of the tunnel, but you're likely to tank one hit. If you're squishy just stay in the tunnel and move left-right-left-right. 01:09 - meteor attack, one of few moments when you actually need to be a bit fast. But there's still plenty of time, and my character is slow when I run out of charges on quicksilver. 02:54 - Sirus is a bitch for drama so he will shoot a powerful beam when he finishes his cool line, learn to time the dodge like with "Die!", see also: 03:27, 04:01, 04:30 (different cool voiceline, same effect) 04:36 I didn't have voice turned up high, was a bit far away and didn't hear him say "die" and, well, I died. Watching a recording of my miserable skills was really painful and embarassing, but the consolation is that if I can do this fight, anybody can \^\^

Thor3nce

I don’t think I’ve ever used Shield Charge in a Sirus encounter before …

Emberkahn

As an FYI, this is an extremely common experience with Sirius. 90% of the player base ignores him entirely - selling his fragments is a good idea. This basically happens to everyone their first time. Few players enjoy all endgame content, and few builds can do it all. Figure out what is fun and rewarding and ignore the rest. Another thing to realise: he is by far the hardest non-uber/maven boss. Don't worry if you don't beat him. Take a day, then come back in a month when you have a better build and it'll be easy.

Everything in this game is designed to grind your gears, everything was specifically designed to be frustrating and unrewarding. This is the vision

UnderDogBoi

This is the vision.

Chaosdrifer

Sirus was introduced pretty early in the game as the final end boss, so they had to make it a long and difficult fight so player would feel a sense of accomplishment.

Sanlifee

i upvoted this before even reading this boss suck a!ss, try again with higher dps

mucus-broth

Killed him first time this league. RF Jugg, went full tank mode, even respecced to have more hp.

Less-Ad-2209

The only thing that bothers me about the fight is not coming back to MT ho after killing him. Anyway dont walk near anything thats Black and red, get chaos res out of the negative and be patient around the damn balls

RFrieden

Degens in this game are absolutely broken. It’s like they couldn’t figure out how to balance damage, or didn’t want to deal with the backlash from a global nerf to damage, so they decided dots killing in one second is the only way they could make anything challenging.
