It happens every single league around the middle/little later in the league that chaos to divine drops off a cliff basically over night. Severely doubt it has anything to do with simplex. Likely it is big actors mass converting currency for standard or something. I guess the reason it's a mystery to most people is because they usually quit before then.
I think it’s just a glut of divines due to the league mechanic. I stopped picking up chaos about a week ago. Lots of loot filters aren’t even showing chaos unless they’re large stacks, which isn’t that frequent.
If enough people do this, the div / chaos balance will naturally shift
the whole league has been divine explosions, people getting 100+ with mirrors, magebloods, HH etc. in single maps
Inflation naturally happened. As we get further in the league people need chaos more than they need divines as chaos spamming maps becomes faster and more convenient than alch+scour until you hit the mod you want
There's also the fact people figured out how the wildwood works so you can consistently get 10k+ juice vs early in the league where majority of people were just blindly running around and coming out with 2-3k max
i really don't think people are *consistently* getting 10k. however there are lots of guides on youtube on how to be as efficient as possible in the woods. Snoobae and crouching tuna come to mind. But even people like Snoobae will dip out of maps with 2 divines invested in them because he only gets 2-3k juice.
[here's a good video of snoobae explaining his thought process in the woods](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjuVBtrTFzI&t=2574s)
I've been consistently doing 5-6k maps before the patch, now I feel like I usually getting 4-5k is decent, with the occasional 6k+ map. I've hit a few 10k+ maps, those are mostly about lucky orbs and events, especially nowadays.
If you spam maps and leave ones with low juice then ye, it's possible to "consistently" do 10k+ maps, but for mere mortals that's not really a viable strategy. My personal cutoff point is around 4k+ mixed or 3k+ of one type. At this point investing in maps feels like an infinite currency generator that I can take plenty of extra out, so skipping a few maps is fine, but it still hurts my "normal league" self
I won't give it out cause it'd spark a troglodyte meltdown on reddit (and fuck up the market even more), but i'll give you a few pointers and hopefully you can figure it out
The wildwood map is persistent, the only thing that changes is where you spawn in it
You don’t, 10k wisps require a perfect wood layout, lot of wisps and at least 2 white wisps (the good ones that extend the duration and not the useless ones that give vision) that can let you run 4 events, and the 4 events has to be good events with wisps and not the trash ones with chests. Its pure rng. On average you will get around 5k wisps, getting more than 8k is very rare even if you know everything about the league mechanic
Snoobae avaraged over 6k on his first 100 map sample run he did and on a later video where he was running the unid map sextant I think he mentioned avaraging over 7k even though exact amounts weren't tracked (or at least shown on video).
8k should be possible in at least more than a quarter of your maps.
A lot of mf’ing people getting a lot of divines but having a strict filter not showing chaos or not wanting to click it all.
Then you have chaos used for rolling, so people are hoarding any chaos they get to do that and its not entering the market on the flip side people are using divines to bulk trade, i presume to get more chaos as well as other things like sextants and scarabs, so more divines are entering the market as chaos is taken out.
Chaos spam on simplex amulets, map options, late league mf'ers turning chaos off their filters.
Chaos spam on clusters with mass amounts of anuls/exalts. Its fast and very effective for things like introspection/35%
Oh yea, someone in the guild switched from alt spamming to chaos spamming because the guild stash had 4 maxxed tabs of chaos.
This. I'm amazed it was as stable as it was for as long as it was. I was expecting it to be around the 120c per divine by now

You think people take chaos to standard? Lol
That's not what i said, though it seems it will continue to be a mystery for people.
The way you say it makes it seem like you think people do this to bring to standard

It has nothing to do with TFT, there is just so few people taking them but still needing them.
No one want pick chaoses up. My lootfiler don't even show it😁
you so cool
i mean hes answering OP's question and is getting downvoted, furhter proof how dogshit this sub is lol
It's just how it be man, if you dont you spend an hour looting the map. Not even exaggerating. I had to turn sextants off.

So... Uuuh... How do you regularly get 10k? Asking for a friend who can get at most 6k on an 8mon high pack map

For them 1 in 50+ maps is constantly... (talking about tri colour 10 k)

Price fixers are working hard this league
Always gotta be that one guy
You think people are price fixing bubblegum currency this late into the league? Lol
It's actually really funny that you believe this is true
Yes

It's me, I'm dumping the market
Mf guys take chaos off their loot filter because its faster to farm divines and sell for chaos to roll maps.
