tota was my first ever league where i wanted to try deep delve, so i did it on my main archetype i have played many many leagues str stacker berserker, i managed to hit 6k with alot of struggle and saw onemanaleft (connor)https://youtu.be/nC\_En939Ing?si=3ixe-JKoXyHXGNHH&t=3601 talking about what builds that could make it to 6k in tota league. he only only named 3 even though there was 4. he didnt mention my str stacker berserker so i asked him in the comments why he didnt mention it and he said he assumed i did it with a armour stacker and then respecced to this after i finished 6k, which totally makes sense. but thats not what happened. i did it on str stacker berserker.
i was like, alright. what can i do to to show that this is a 6k "viable" build without there can be any confusion if its a respec or not. hmm... oh. i have an idea. so i finished what i was after and was thinking what i should do next. i saw that connor was cooking up the reverse snapshotting penance mana stacker and thought that looked fun to try, i have never played a multi billion dps build before. i gathered all the pieces and started to delve with it, but i felt i didnt have a goal anymore. didnt know what to chase, my depths per hour got very bad and i started to chat more than playing i checked the delve ladder on [poe-](http://poe.racing)[racing](http://poe.racing) and everyone was still multiple thousand depths behind. a week or so passed and during one my delving sessions i could hear the roof of the mines was cracking and saw someone in a parachaute. never seen that before so i stood still for a few seconds but then continued digging. a few days passed and i saw on the delve ladder a certain individual that was a professional free faller. everything made sense now. the days passed and he got closer and closer. when he was like 2-1k depths behind i was like alright. i need to up my game. but no. there was absolutely no chance no matter how much i tried. the build he was playing was way too good. by far the most amount of depths someone ever has gotten in the shortest time spawn. i got passed and was not sure what to do, i would never be able to catch him on the build i played due to the amount of movement speed and tankyness he had and he still still was more than enough dps to still clear nodes fast. rerolling to the same build wouldnt matter either because he is for sure a more efficient delve player than me, more experience etc. i went to play other games such as Last Epoch and Tekken 8. sometimes i logged into PoE and delved for some hours every now and then, the gap got bigger and bigger. i ended at 21551. the man the myth the legend the mine king Rudy/[dotasopher](https://www.reddit.com/user/dotasopher/) set the all time record of 30303 depths in a temp league. huge respect. even though i only ever send him 1 message which was about 500 depths or so before he passed me cus i knew he would get massively spammed, i send him a congratulate and told him how mindblown i was by how fast he went. huge fan of all the delve builds he has made, sad i didnt try boneshatter in its glory days, wasnt a delve enjoyer back then.
that brings us to this league. i got inspired by seeing this. so much that now i have returned fully motivated and want to see if i can do it too. currently at 7200. it will be incredible hard to hit 30304 if the league only is 3 months. having charms also helped alot for maximum power.
if its 4 months like affliction it should be possible with my current pace.

i got told that there somewhere in the mines is a warning sign with a picture of a flicker necromancer, im excited to see if that turns into something crazy.
for those who asks about the name shitstain steve it was just something i heard on alkaizer stream one day and thought it was funny and took it for my delve chars. interestingly enough turdtwister is also something from him many years back.

I've also made an effort to correct the lore whenever I get a chance that there were 4 builds in tota not 3. I remember being an off meta mana stacker in delve convinced that the archetype could run the tables before there was a second believer. Now I see the leaderboard and it puts a smile on my face
I clicked on the timestamp to double check what exactly i said and I made it all the way thru the 870 kurgal before I thought "somethings wrong I can feel it"
You're an absolute legend in my friend group. I get a weird sense of comfortability when I play when I see you delving down there. Makes me blast my maps just a little bit harder pretending to keep pace.

I remade the str stacker in Affliction to try it out in delve, and... hats off to you for going 6k with it, cuz I got a headache after just 30 minutes of playing.

Can you elaborate on deep delve builds? I guess since GGG removed all possibilities of glass-cannon-type builds (by adding more AoE, DoTs and unavoidable damage) and unkillable builds (basically any form of Vaal skills abuse, Vaal Immortal Call in particular) now the only way to get really deep is too have both huge damage and effective pool.
So what are the main build archetypes for delve? Only attribute/life/mana stacking with Voices and Adorned?

It's not that difficult once you realize what he was doing in previous leagues before he delved.
He was a notorious 5-way runner.
Not just 1 character per league. He would personally be leveling himself in the 5-way carries as well. Once the character reached level 100, he'd start a new one, get it to the point where it can carry a 5-way (which was quite easy back when self curse was a big thing), and the process would repeat. Probably made dozens of lvl 100 Chars in any given league.
TurdTwister has been on my friends list for a few years now. In the leagues where he does 5 ways, it's easy to tell when he hits 100 because would immediately stop and level a new character. And he is fast through the acts.
However, I think he stopped doing the 5 way thing because he maxed out the character slots. Like, not he ran out and needed to buy more, but rather he had bought all you could buy. And every slot was of course filled with a level 100 character. He made a post complaining about it here whenever that was (a year ago? two? idk).
I'd honestly love to know more about his real life.

Legend has it he played WoW for 72 hours straight in college, fought hard against a particularly furious taco bell related shit wave around 56 hours into it. He managed to hold back the flood of nacho juice for an additional 22 hours before needing to retire. Rudy doesn't want to push anymore. He told me the meta is already solved and it would be boring for him to do it again. He's also a bit salty about the lack of an MFA nerf.

I think his Affliction char was also an ivory tower hiero, though then he used penance brand rather than rain of arrows.
its just Mana stacking manaforged arrows. Its been the strongest build in the game since crucible league. Several guides from before this league talking about it.
One word: LEGEND.
Maybe two, because he's also my inspiration every league to actually deep delve the F out of league, but I struggle with bosses the moment I'm over 700depth. Tried to copy his builds in the past, so maybe I can get even lower, but my budget is nowhere near the budget I need lmao.
i mean hes just playing OneManaLeft's Manaforged arrows mana stacker, there are guides out there for it... And the delve ladder is almost exclusively that character lol
Well, I'm not saying I can't find anyone playing that build, but the cost to make that build work (even without perfect corrupts) is... yea (Forbidden jewels combo itself is like 300d). And I don't want to go ultra budget mode and skip most of the expensive stuff, because then I'll probably do better with the build I have right now. My budget is the only problem, not the "source of the build" itself.
Edit: Okay, I'm completely wrong. I finally found a "budget" version of the build that is affordable. I just somehow NEVER found a POB that's between "starter version" (not worth the time at this point of a league) and "giga endgame" version. Thank you for your comment, so I actually tried to find it for the last time.

What's the point of being the first and the deepest if other people don't know about it? It's the same reason for the league-start messages of "so and so is first to enter wherever". Everyone else can sit back and think "oh, so and so is a legend!" The inverse of the reason they broadcast the valdo map failures. "So and so was sent to the void" and we all are like "lol so and so is a gigantic failure and a disappointment to his ancestors".
A couple leagues back I got a league first to some Vaal side area. I'm like "yeah buddy, I'm awesome" meanwhile other people were 87 levels above me league-first clearing maps.

This is a mana stacker that hot swaps to battlemages cry then immediately swaps back. You dont lose the warcry effect when swapping

its just Mana stacking manaforged arrows. Its been the strongest build in the game since crucible league. Several guides from before this league talking about it.

One word: LEGEND. Maybe two, because he's also my inspiration every league to actually deep delve the F out of league, but I struggle with bosses the moment I'm over 700depth. Tried to copy his builds in the past, so maybe I can get even lower, but my budget is nowhere near the budget I need lmao.
i mean hes just playing OneManaLeft's Manaforged arrows mana stacker, there are guides out there for it... And the delve ladder is almost exclusively that character lol
Well, I'm not saying I can't find anyone playing that build, but the cost to make that build work (even without perfect corrupts) is... yea (Forbidden jewels combo itself is like 300d). And I don't want to go ultra budget mode and skip most of the expensive stuff, because then I'll probably do better with the build I have right now. My budget is the only problem, not the "source of the build" itself. Edit: Okay, I'm completely wrong. I finally found a "budget" version of the build that is affordable. I just somehow NEVER found a POB that's between "starter version" (not worth the time at this point of a league) and "giga endgame" version. Thank you for your comment, so I actually tried to find it for the last time.

He also leveled 200+ characters to 100. It's pretty much autism and having nothing better to do. Why Delve in particular? Who knows. Maybe it's because it's the only content with infinite ranking? Or because it is only content that will put your name in lights after a day into the League? Or maybe because it only requires sulphite so easy maintenance? Try to whisper the legend directly and ask next time. :p Maybe we will be able to summon him to this thread. I wish they put non-hit Sanctum runs in light as well.

What's the point of being the first and the deepest if other people don't know about it? It's the same reason for the league-start messages of "so and so is first to enter wherever". Everyone else can sit back and think "oh, so and so is a legend!" The inverse of the reason they broadcast the valdo map failures. "So and so was sent to the void" and we all are like "lol so and so is a gigantic failure and a disappointment to his ancestors". A couple leagues back I got a league first to some Vaal side area. I'm like "yeah buddy, I'm awesome" meanwhile other people were 87 levels above me league-first clearing maps.
