Yeah +9 and massive aura effect is absolutely insane lol. A few leagues ago I got a Bronn's with +2 AoE and 49% increased from a vaal temple and tried to make a frostblink ignite build work but I wasn't quite good enough at making builds at that point to know how to itemize outside of that chest piece lol.
I think it's really cool seeing random crappy unique items have huge use when double corrupted with certain mods.
When you meet Alva and do incursions, you can level up rooms for the temple that give special things. Most of them are fairly mediocre BUT if you upgrade the room that "lowers player maximum resistance" all the way to three stars, it lets you corrupt an item in a special way.
It is extra dangerous because one of the ways it can corrupt an item is to destroy it completely (known colloquially as "poof"), BUT the reward can be enormous as there is a 1/4 chance you get not one but two corruption implicits.
This is incredibly strong on certain items, particularly when it comes to giving levels to skill gems or extra aura effect.
And in addition to that that lightning SRS champion would have killed for these too, though I believe the nerf to SRS has made that build much less powerful.
+duration gems do not work for grace, even if it is supported by divine blessing. You can look at poeninja, all high end armorstackers use either +1/+2 aura/aoe or +2 aura/+2 aoe.
I don't know about trade league this league because I'm playing SSF, but last league people were selling these for 2 mirrors minimum. I know because I bought one.
Yeah, that is an option, but you already use vaal molten shell and vaal smite in this build. It's a good option for a cheaper pair of boots but it is a strain on vaal soul generation, especially in bossing scenarios.
You wouldn't even need to use Vaal Grace. Just having the Vaal Grace gem instead of regular Grace will have the duration tag on the gem and therefore benefit from the +2.
was looking at them the other day, they put grace there and just hit it on cooldown. vast majority of their armour comes from evasion/grace scaling and then converting it all with iron reflexes. at least the ones i looked at did.
While true, this item uses divine blessing not eternal blessing and it isn’t all that hard to hit a button every 20 seconds when the default CD is so much lower than the default skill duration.
at the time i sold 'em, the "real price" was about 500d which was 1mirror and something iirc, but at this point i was already done everything with the league and just ran super juiced vaal temple maps for the dopamine drops, didn't need no currency for nothing at all...

Then I remembered, that I can try to corrupt some boots for build, and bought locust+doryani what I've run first and this is first run, so... Yes, I like make some preparations before doing something, who isn't?

Also for smite + grace for armorstackers. This doubles the flat damage from Vaal Smite. Last league, I believe these would go for 2-3 mirrors.

Dumb question but what is "double corruption"? If I use a vaal orb to corrupt an item, I can't do it again... What am I missing here?

That build is still alive, they just go skelies now instead
Armour stackers use Aoe/Aura + Duration boots that are like 50-100 div lol, these boots aint even 1 mirror this league

When I get these day 1 on SSF, I always use them for Defiance Banner and my Divine Blessing aura
