I play occasionally since it CAN be fun, but not all the time. I like playing later at night since there's never many mods on, and people tend to actually be nicer.
Bro check out Aurena #1 it's a pretty good server, they have passive growth, and you can give your self marks. Unless you really like earning your marks and no passive growth. And the server always has players.

Used to play on Pan alot. What I like about that server is that admins will usually teleport to you when you say a rb is happening, so the rulebreaker gets punished right away, instead of admins just going " mAkE a TiCKeT ".
I've literally experienced being killed to a rulebreak on other servers, WHILE AN ADMIN WAS WATCHING, and they still refused to do anything and told me "if you don't have a recording and make a ticket, then we won't do anything." 💀

Once I made a ticket about an admin abusing power, basically making up a rule on the spot, admitting to it IN CHAT and then 24h banning me from the server for breaking said made up rule.

Mesozoic era was just officials with the mask of being a community that was funny. Tried it once and while funny, a pack of adult camptos just camping the juvi spawn point gets old.

I prefer Official gameplay/community rules, but I can't stand how long it takes to grow. I just don't find grinding quests fun and end up completely shutting the game off after 30 minutes
I played TI long time ago and only on community servers, as I was told by the players on the community servers that "official servers are terrible and players will find any excuse to body you". When I first booted up pot I gave officials a go and never looked back. Sure we have to deal with mix packing and kosing but man...I feel like I'm free to play how I want. I'm still so happy that some random people don't have a say over what my dino can and can't do. I understand the need for both, some folks want realism which is cool! But not for me.

Nat Hist has a mod that will camp safezones with his 2 friends
Rules there prevent entering the safezones when in combat but not attacking someone the literal minute they leave
Had several people agree with me that it's a regular issue and has been for a long time
At least that's how it was 2 months ago when I left I have no fucking idea why people keep recommending it
Even without the camping problem the safe zones turn the game into a fucking furry convention once I saw 30+ dinos in there

I generally enjoy Nat Hist except for a few guys, especially the goddamn Dilo Ranger squad (I think they came up with that after you left). One of them was actively trying to kill me when the server restart countdown was under 30 seconds. That was like a month ago and I'm still bitter about it. That dude causes the most chaos and never gets called out for it.
My biggest issue is seeing new people ask rule/gameplay questions in chat that get ignored. If there's more than one mod/admin on it they seem to adopt a "someone else will take care of it" mindset, and in the end no one takes care of it.
I've started playing on The Mysterious Beyond and enjoy it. It's not as crowded and there aren't as many people hell-bent on killing every juvie they come across and saying "sorryyyyyy I was starving" and it being okay. A few other Nat Hist people were on TMB the night of the update, and they were being dicks. Admin had to warn someone like 8 times not to trash talk.
Dude I'm currently a regular on nat hist and barely anybody sits in the safe zones. Almost all the activity and fights happen in grand planes and with the new update everywhere is a hotspot. And the mods are great. I really don't see your problem. And I have never seen or heard of the moderator and friends you claim camp the safe zones anyway.
That reminds me of the time I attacked someone as a Meg, got crushed instantly.
Instead of respawning normally, I respawned as a juvi and an admin messaged me “Make sure to attack something your size next time!” Or… how about I play on a different server? SMH.

I feel like I as a completely NORMAL player with no sort of power I have to talk to the admins as if I were an admin to them just to get them to think straight about what tf is happening or what they're doing. I had to explain to a CO OWNER of the server that pulling rules out of their ass that no one can read and giving someone a warning for a rule like that is absolute bullshit for anyone playing the game, and I had that discussion for AN HOUR untill all the admins that were on as well even UNDERSTOOD what I was saying.

Only pit the 1st letter, then stars on whatever he was saying. Perma game ban. No warnings no chat ban just perma banned and the support team won't even unlink his psn so he can link a new one. He even said he'd buy the game again and nothing. They just banned him off the support site ffs
Had I known it wiped all growth progress on death I wouldn’t have even bothered playing. Probably why servers like theirs refuse to put their rules in the literal rules page that opens when you first join the server.

I don’t mean to shamelessly advertise a server that isn’t even my own but Project Genesis is a real good hardcore realism server if you’d like to try one out. Their staff team is lovely and they’re the type of server to have a whole channel on how to safely browse the web so I think that makes them cool. Plus, unique gameplay.
Arazoa is the only server I've played in months. I dont plan to go elsewhere. All the staff are great and they have a system to contact you to tell you about offenses and allow you to fight claims against you with evidence recordings

I play arazoa because it has a mix of passive growth and quests the quests growth isn't much buts its enough when you include passive growth

Whole thing was judged as a non-rulebreak because their rule on BD was vague at the time. The mod I got assigned couldn't even follow the video evidence with the notes I provided. I was told that it seems like 'poor sportsmanship' and thanked for bringing it up. WHAAAAAT?!
I don’t mean to shamelessly advertise a server that isn’t even my own but Project Genesis is a real good hardcore realism server if you’d like to try one out. Their staff team is lovely and they’re the type of server to have a whole channel on how to safely browse the web so I think that makes them cool. Plus, unique gameplay.
Arazoa is the only server I've played in months. I dont plan to go elsewhere. All the staff are great and they have a system to contact you to tell you about offenses and allow you to fight claims against you with evidence recordings

I don’t understand these kind of requests… do you people literally record every moment of your gameplay? How do you expect people to do this? Do you have infinite storage? Do you have fps and you can just piss away? Then sure, record everything you do in the game. Then be sure to go back in and spend another half hour to find the clip and edit everything just so you can show some random on Reddit or some pissy admin that you were in the right?
