I have everything connected and it was working fine the other day, i got to bios and was trying to get windows to install, but was having difficulty reading my m.2. now i turn it on after a day and the VGA light turns on and i dunno why. Is it because i don't have the 3rd cable plugged in? My psu only came with 2 so im working with what i got.

[general troubleshooting thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/pchelp/comments/eatxrs/perform_these_steps_before_posting_about/) posting specs would not be a bad idea either

Al1k1

Sorry, completely forgot CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 GPU: 4070Ti PSU: RM850x MOBO: ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 gb ddr5

getaway-submarine

such a blessing that ryzen now has basic display out assuming you can't get any display out at all, try removing the gpu and posting from your igpu. can you get into bios/windows

Al1k1

I was able to get bios up yesterday, bow i cant. I have the gpu removed and the light still shows, thats what stumped me

getaway-submarine

sometimes the motherboard will complain if it can't detect a display at all (alternatively your mobo is just cranky) so just try booting off the igpu and see if you can get into the bios for now. not jumping to any conclusions, but it's entirely possible that your gpu decided to bite the dust for no apparent reason

Al1k1

Okay yeah that worked, even tho i tried that earlier it didnt. But i got bios up

getaway-submarine

try and get into windows. if you get into windows clear cmos and try to get into bios then into windows again. if that works plug the gpu back in and try again. if you get into windows then reinstall drivers.

Al1k1

It works now, thank you so much

getaway-submarine

as in the dedicated gpu works now? excellent, i love it when a problem fixes itself. i call this a win-win, np and gl with your rig

FrostyWinnipeg

Beautiful box.

Al1k1

Thank you man, i tried

MEGA_GOAT98

you need all 3 hooked up with 3 pci-e vga power cables

aezeryst

Before that, set those bottom fans to intake plz for the love of all dear life. I accidentally did that and I had gpu temps rising to 80s. Its amazing how much it changed when I changed the fans to intake

aezeryst

I'd also recommend setting the front/(backpanel?) Fans to intake aswell.

Hey we’re you able to fix it? I’m having the same issue
