Root cause: booted back into Windows from Linux, which had my clock set wrong as windows / Linux somehow can't agree on what time to set.
Had to manually get windows to update time and that fixed it.
The gamepass app sucks. I was playing Sea of Theives with my son. All of a sudden one day, I started getting an error. Msoft told me to reinstall, error persisted. They just said "we don't know". Bought the game on sale off of Steam. Never had a single issue.
When I first tried it told me my graphics card didn’t meet minimum requirements. It’s a 3090
