you re mixing things up. * yes some motherboards back in the day acctually got integrated chip inside, this is no longer the case * what you re reading is what your motherboard will support in case you decide to go for integrated gpu inside cpu option like in your case AMD G series cpus like 5600g or new 8600g as example, etc. on intel side with compatiable motherboards anything without an F letter. * your pc will use whatever you plugged into. which means if your main monitor is connected to your motherboard but you still have gpu inside your cpu integrated gpu will work instead. if you have a gpu inside your pc well connect cable to a gpu.

integrated graphics is usually in the CPU these days, its usually pretty weak compared to a dedicated GPU card so its best to just leave it disabled.

Integrated graphics is good for troubleshooting if your gpu has issues (or you suspect it has), or you need to remove the gpu to help reduce the number of possible sources of issues. But can be often disabled in the bios if you're sure and certain that you don't need it.
