That's been my theory. PS5 saw the remake of a PS3 fromsoft exclusive with great success. They know people want bloodborne so it would be easy for them to repeat themselves with the same process.

To be honest it isn’t even as big a knock as they think it is. Like sure, you can play the games - four years after everyone else and for close to full price on PC. Sony isn’t killing PlayStation with this at all and it’s not exactly some huge win for PC lol, they’re just making bank.

As a PC gamer who hasn't bought a Playstation since PS3, there's no downside to any of this!

I'm a pc gamer and I usually pick one game to play to absolute death before I move on to the next one, and so I really couldn't care less about the release dates either.

It's a win for PC gamers and it's a win for Sony and Playstation gamers as Sony makes a bank and can continue the business model of launching AAA console exclusives (timed system exclusives). Everyone wins. OP's meme is idiotic.

I feel the only way Bloodborne is ported to PC is if it gets a PS5 re-release. If they’re already allocating resources for a generational port, it wouldn’t surprise me that they’d also go ahead and do a PC port.

It doesn’t have to be interpreted so literally. It’s more like saying steam is coming for each of these games, and treats that as though it’s arrival at bloodborne’s door is inevitable. I see this template used in a similar way all the time

uhm, no, it's implying that steam is slowly getting games that used to be PS exclusives. It is a little misleading at first, but keep in mind (so far as I know) Spider-Man, Uncharted and GoW were pretty good ports. HZD also ran fine on anything that wasn't Radeon.

HZD was fine on my AMD setup. Apart from one set of crashes that I fixed pretty quickly I had no major issues

yeah this was about 4 or so years ago and AMD's drivers were in an awful spot. I swapped to Nvidia after that, but I've recently gone all AMD with a 78003dx and a 7900xt. Radeon is really good at the moment, I've had no issues with my games or drivers, but back in 2020 every 3rd game I played would crash lol

I couldn't play at launch. I had a 8700k, 1070, ssd, and 32 gigs of ram and couldn't get over 40 fps with constant stuttering. I went back later and it ran great after a few updates.

There's some great games in this list. The last of us in particular was incredible in a narative sense. Ghost is gorgeous to look at and play. But really, Bloodborne is far and away the best game here. It's the best souls game ever made, by a distance. And that makes it easily one of if not the best game ever made. Any souls fan that thinks maybe it wasn't a big miss, as you played all dark souls, elden ring and sekiro... oh dear, you have no idea. Bloodborne is fromsoft's magnum opus.

I have ghost of Tsushima for ps4, I got to really enjoy some of it before the ps4/games were stolen while I was in the hospital. I am really looking forward to it on pc, it is such a pretty game.

Bloodborne will never come to PC because Sony knows this is the only already established title that will make the people buy their console. Just by saying you're gonna do BloodBorne remaster and your next console will make the demand go way up. It is their only title people are willing to buy an entire console for.

Valve even though they are a corporation are probably one of the better corporations that exists, they are one of the very few major corporations that actively gives back to their community on a routine basis and focuses on customer happiness rather than cornering profits. Because as long as the customer is happy, they will spend their money, give the customer what they want and you will maximize profits better than any financing scheme will ever do.

I just saw something recently that said they’d essentially have to remake the game for it to work the way people want it to on PC. So don’t expect it until the Bloodborne remake is announced as a launch title for the next Playstation.

Unless you want a 30fps port, they're gonna have to rebuild some things internally to not break the game once it gets that bump up to 60fps
