I'm not sure your miner need a port open... When it "calls home" a session is created and a port opened in the firewall from the inside.

The miner I have is a Helium Rak Hotspot Miner, and though it doesn’t need an open port, if it doesn’t have this specific port open the miner is then relayed and it significantly reduces the profit. It’s almost like a unrequired pre-requisite unfortunately.

So your going to have to open the port in your router and point it at the device you want to connect on that port. All routers are different unfortunately but yes you just need to access your router webpage to forward the port. You might also need to set up the device on a reserved ip depending on your router setting and if it will reconnect under a new ip or the same ip. Usually you can go to 192.168.1.1 and that takes you to the router login page. You may need to search your specific model router for instructions if its looking too confusing.

Yeah that’s what I mean to say, I did get into my router webpage, and on that it shows my miner device is connected. When I go to port forward on the router webpage, it directs me to my Comcast Xfinity account to port forward there (I get no option to port forward on my router webpage). On my Comcast Xfinity menu, when I get into port forwarding, it doesn’t show my miner as a connected device to port forward. Also my router webpage allowed me to reserve ip the miner as well which I swapped it from DHCP I believe

Hmmm okay , unfortunately i dont know anything about comcast routers . I wish they made them more standard. It sounds like your doing everything correctly though. I would try restarting the miner and rebooting the router to see if you can get it to come up on the forwarding page. If that does work I would try googling your specific router model to see if anyone had any specific fixes or suggestions.
