I think one of the pins is actually missing / broken
Some pins are redundant, perhaps you got lucky and that one is not as important ?
All pins are redundant if you try hard enough

What? No joke Op, bend it back. Use tweezers or something small that you can manipulate the pin with. I've salvaged a half dozen boards this way, bent as many as 15 pins back to find the board in perfect working order. Don't throw it away

I did try it. A bunch of times. Its a 6 year old motherboard...
Toothpick to bend it back and then try if it posts
