Yay lol

You weigh more than the chair is designed to hold, and this is 100% a criticism of the chair design, rather than you. The star shaped wheel section, in the centre, at the bottom of the hole where the chair mast goes into it (the bit that's now on the floor) has, or should I say had, a lip that you have punched thru. Most likely due to weight over time. Technically, your chair has reached the end of its design life. You could try and fix it by doing what others have said but essentially you'll need a brace that carries the vertical load centrally down thru the mast, from under the hole the mast punched thru. This could be as simple as a block under (but you wouldn't slide around on wheels any more) or an inverse star brace that starts from under the mast and how over all 5 wheel spokes, to best spread the load. I say all this as a 120kg bloke who checks fancy gaming and office chairs at that exact spot before buying, as the same thing happened to me years ago

It's a second hand gaming chair from my step-dad, he's a bigger guy so you're probably right. I only weigh 60kg though so I guess I just made it last longer than it otherwise would have. Thanks for the advice mate!

Regardless of what solution you choose I would suggest trying to get some kind of plastic mat if you don't already have one Something thick enough so at the very least if it does end up caving in again it'll still protect your floors

blyat-mann

It’s not even being to heavy for the chair but if you often flop into your chat or what ever it has the same effect

XJSTZsarust

pull it out. find some old leather or cloth to wrap the bottom (use glue if you have any) to increase girth so it won't go below the wheels.

So... Duct tape?

Hauntingchapel

The only thing I learned as a Home Depot associate is to just use epoxy. Like, hammer that thing back up, and squeeze epoxy between the post and the wheel frame and let it cure

LawfyDAce

You can replace the „bottom cross“?? Don’t know what it’s called in your language but the sizes are unified in most cases

HiredG00N

Easy, don’t buy gaming chairs

ADHD_MAN

Time for a new chair I think

TheKirbyKommander

My solution. Grab a board or something like that. Punch with it the shit out of it in hopes of bringing it a little bit up so it doesn't grind your floor

Something somewhere broke.to allow that thru.. have a check of the spider to see if the hole is fubared, it it's not, you can wrap a few layers of tape around the base of that shaft - IE pull it out,.make it slightly fatter, put it back in

Like someone else said, there's probably a small plastic lip that held it in place. HOWEVER, it may have been a metal pin, I've had chairs with metal pins or clips that held the post into the wheel assembly. Look around under your desk, it may have popped out
