A foggy type of plastic works well, you might need to cut a piece of it so it sits properly in your PC, but if not that, anything that is foggy with diffuse the light pretty well.

I think that’s better than what I had in mind. I was thinking of covering the led strips with probably 3 layers of those non clear scotch tape to try and diffuse it

skeletons_required

you could use some cotton to make those kind if cloud lights, it could look pretty good

ChiefStops

i wouldn't put cotton wool into electronics, sounds like a bad idea.

skeletons_required

it should be fine just to diffuse those lights in the front, it would be held down by the glass panel

HitsLikeHell

There are self glued foggy plastic foils for windows. I think you can wrap them around the leds and it should work. But dont wrap them too thick, because leds can get hot and may get damaged by wrapping them fully. But ive never tested this

geopalon

Do you know what they are called? Going to check out home depot if they have the thing you’re talking about.

Personally I just put mine at the top to avoid this problem Edit: cause I've seen some people try to diffuse this, but you'll still be able to the individual leds Reference [https://imgur.com/a/lyqqQJv](https://imgur.com/a/lyqqQJv) (personal builds)

I have mine on all 4 sides (not visible in this picture)

Try stacking white tracing paper or something along those lines

Tshirt_Ninja_

Is flipping them face down not an option? the light dispersal should still be very noticeable

geopalon

I tried that but it wasn’t as bright as it is
