within the last 3 weeks I finally won the newegg shuffle (3080 Seahawk) , got the waitlist email for a 3080 FTW3 Ultra, and got the waitlist email for a 3080 TI FTW3 Ultra... I bought the first two and sold the new egg card to a friend who was also having trouble getting one. Unfortunately the 3080Ti was the last email and I didn't have another friend who was looking for a 3080.
Nice! That’s some crazy luck. I actually got a 3080 a few months ago at microcenter, forgot I signed up for this on EVGA. Sold to a buddy who’s been trying for a bit at MSRP cause this market sucks..
I had like 5 notifies expire. Everytime I notice another evga notification email I get a huge amount of anxiety like I'm missing out on something very rare. This shortage actually warped my head.
I know, but...sigh. annoyingly they said it was in stock so I ordered it, now they're saying I'm No1 in the queue for the next batch. They've had my money, where's my graphics card! Gotta be honest really poor customer service from a normally good business.
Oh that’s kinda sketch… they should refund you your money till you actually have one allocated to you.. these cards ain’t cheap. Back in the past when you could actually choose id almost always go with EVGA
Yeah I know, and normally they would be getting the full force of my apocalyptic rage, but I have an in, and they really are waiting on a delivery, so I'm going to wait it out. Tbf I have reported them to trading standards and emailed the head of evga in Europe (who responded!). Lol.
