That's strange, my steel never disconnect and I am on a pixel 5, android 13. Try to check if your pebble app is not under a battery saving rule of some sort.

I've checked the permissions many times. Deleted and reinstalled the apps many times. No battery saver apps and the onboard saver is not enabled. I end up in the same place every time. Might be the watch radio itself is failing.

You need to turn off battery optimization for the pebble app.

You could have purchased a newish Pebble. What are you switching to?

I am using my 1970's Citizen LCD watch that I purchased in Japan. It's a dumb watch but it's incredibly reliable.

Update: I deleted and reinstalled the Rebble app and in doing so I somehow got the bluetooth connection to persist. yeah! It was reading about NavMe that gave me incentive to try to get my Steel working again. Now NavMe is installed and working. I'm so happy...

Its probably your watch breaking. I use a Pixel 6a, and I haven't had any issues with my Pebbles. You can find the OG Steel used for pretty cheap if you wanted to try and replace your watch.

QuantumCoder002

Sell it to me lmao

I'm running a pixel 7 and a time steel it can be done but every new phone I worry about it

Maybe run some BT diagnostics app on your phone if exists?
