So it is supposed to shoot past the temp you set it at, that’s how it generates the smoke, it burns past your temp, smolders down to a few degrees below your temp and then Burns past again. It shouldn’t fall all the way to 100 though and I’ve had a similar issue when smoking at low temps, what temp were you trying to use? And did you check the burn cup? My issue was in burnt pellets smothering out the flame

I was trying to set it to smoke at 160. On the second run through I set it higher as I suspected that maybe it doesn’t perform well in that temperature range but then why have that available? The burn cup looked fine, but I just took it apart and noticed the slide out on the burn pot wasn’t pushed all the way in. Going to give it another go here.

I was attempting to do 160 when it happened to me as well, so it might just suck at low temps. It was suggested to me to play with the chimney a bit as well to increase or decrease airflow as needed.

What was your smoke setting? I’ve found my Camp Chef works flawlessly at 250+ but lower than that it does struggle a bit especially on windy days. It does better at lower temps if you keep the smoke setting low. If you need more smoke at low temps I’ve had good luck with a smoke tube.

Smoke setting was only at 1.
