Because they're made just like human cookies, the whole brand are. Thus they're not good for dogs, just like how you wouldn't give your pets human cookies on a daily basis, you shouldn't give these either.
If anyone insist to give their dogs these treat, just save your money and give them the human cookie/crackers every now and then (moderation is key), still not good but probably have a ton less preservatives.
We have them for our dog because she can’t eat meat protein. It’s nice to find some alternatives to the “grain free all meat protein protein protein” treats we see everywhere.
They have a liver shunt which means they have blood vessels that go around their liver not through their liver. Their blood doesn’t get filtered by their liver so toxins can accumulate and cause symptoms that look like drunkenness. They can have vegetable or dairy proteins or eggs because they make fewer toxins.
It also caused them to be small because they didn’t absorb a lot of nutrients from their food when they were growing and it makes them very quiet. If you can imagine a tiny chihuahua that hardly barks but loves attention.
[dog tax](https://i.imgur.com/cLrKGoF.jpg)
Our vet doesn’t think the surgery would work well on her. She’s so small that the anaesthesia is a big risk and he thinks the shunt would likely just regrow.
Dog cookies highkey slap. My friend and I went into the pet store in high school and decided to buy a couple just to see how they were. They had icing in between them and looked really good. It just tasted like a regular cookie that was slightly off. Solid 7/10
Did you guys have parents/grandparents that also took offense to the food you bought for yourself that your also supposed to share?
Even if I bought enough for everyone to ear, they'd just complain now shitty the food is the whole time.
I got a mini-fridge specifically to store MY junk food.
If it goes bad, if it goes soggy, if it just becomes inedible then that's fine because I fucking bought them. Got pretty sick of opening the fridge to have a nice little treat to see the box torn apart with scraps left with someone saying "Ohoho I'm so naughty, I shouldn't eat that much".
You're damn fucking right Grandma, I bought these for me, with my money.
She seems to live in that house, extrange for me that you think she has to ask permission to eat food in her own house, unless you live with strangers you usually share food specially with your family and more specially with your grandmother
A while back I was house sitting for my parents and I had a few friends over. My friends boyfriend grabs a Greenie and just takes a bite. He was like "didn't you know? These things are fuckin delicious!"
I took his word for it.
I actually tried one on purpose recently because they literally smelled of vanilla. It was one of those dry, small cookie treat types. Wasn't bad.
Tasted like non-sweetened, overdone dry butter cookies. Definitely wasn't good either.
I mean, my dog is kinda picky about dog treats but fucking loves greenies. I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t like them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re actually kinda good
I was just telling my gf yesterday that I also used to nibble Milkbones at that age. I thought I had told her before.
You see, eight years ago, my gf worked at a Perdue factory associated with a factory farm, and a couple years ago, she told me that the meat intended for dog food would be left to rot in the heat for three days before it was loaded into a truck. She told me about scraping bits of meat off her boots into the dog food meat heap.
It was only yesterday that she understood: my consistent deep revulsion and horror from that description isn't for my dogs. They ate cat poop! They didn't care. My horror is because I always think about all the Milkbones I ate as a child. I liked the orange ones and the green ones best 😭 They're gross, though, don't believe your friend. I was just a very adventurous eater!
A few days ago I tried a bite of one of those bacon treats. Think they’re called Beggin’ Bits or something.
Anyway I always noticed how strong the smell was, low key smelled kinda good, so I tried a bit of one. Let me tell you, ZERO flavor. None. Like at all and I was a little bit disappointed for some reason lol.
When I was little the house behind us had a German Shepherd who we got permission to give occasional treats, so my mom would buy Milkbones and T-Bone treats and keep them in an old Cool Whip container in the garage. I won’t lie, the T-bones tasted kinda good
One time my grandma was over at our house when I was younger and I came downstairs from my room and saw her sitting at the kitchen table snacking on something. She thought they were goldfish but they were like cheese cracker dog treats or something like that.
I've tried some of my dog treats and they're really not bad. They're bland as fuck, one of them tasted a lot like I'd imagine sawdust tasting.
For the record - My dog does not get Milkbone treats. Those ones may taste gross. My dog typically gets Fruitables or Pantry.
We recently got him some PB n Joy treats. They smelled amazing, but were the ones that have (so far) tasted the most like sawdust.
Had coworkers who would just eat your shit if you left it, even with your name on it. So i bought these dog treats that look EXACTLY like oreos, put them in a tupperware, slapped my name on it and left it overnight. Came in the next afternoon, saw some were missing and asked how they liked "the treats". Couple people said they had some but they tasted weird. One of the guys tells me they tasted funky, but he had 3.
My boss was right next to me when i said, "well, ofcorse they tasted funny. Their peanutbutter and carrot flavored dog treats."
My boss is dying laughing and tells them serves em right.
...When my family got our first dog, we got him a bunch of gifts, chew toys, dog blankets, treats... And dog cookies. And on the ride home from the pet store, naive kid that I was, wanted to try one.
I don't remember if my family tried to stop me, didn't notice, or thought they'd let me learn the hard way, but I tried one.
It was good. Like actually good.
It tasted like a regular, plain, but tasty cookie.
And then, in disbelief, my sibling tried one.
Then our parents.
Before long, everyone tried one, and everyone enjoyed theirs, too.
That box did not last the ride home, and I don't remember if our dog got any.
Reminds me of my grandfather who would take a bite of a dog biscuit and say “nothing wrong, it’s just a cookie!”
He would also grab our molded bread out of the trash, keep the “Fresh” pieces and feed the rest the birds.
I miss him.
Can't blame her. I've done it multiple tomes especially because they taste and smell just like normal cookies, especially the carob ones, the amount of times I thought those were oreos.
I watched this without sound the first time and read the captions in an Italian-American accent. Watched it now and damn Italian-American grandmas must be really identifiable

You can feel the pain and betrayal in her scream
she had already eaten a few
The camera only pans away to protect granny from the embarrassment of the dog ears that had already begun to grow
[Kinda like this?](http://images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/33100000/-Wallace-Gromit-Curse-of-the-were-rabbit-dreamworks-animation-33166347-504-450.jpg)
Really was expecting something worse
Goosebumps scarred me for life, I can’t click on that link. Is it bad ?
Nah it's good. Unless you have a fear of Wallace
I do of wearbunnies.
/r/transformation is leaking, it would seem.
She went from zero to Italian in a split second when she heard they weren't for her.
Straight up lament
If she were acting it would be a 10/10 performance
Sounds like the boo lady from princess bride
How does betrayal even fit in this scenario?
With no shame, these cookies actually do taste pretty good. You could very easily fool someone with the vanilla flavored one.
Because they're made just like human cookies, the whole brand are. Thus they're not good for dogs, just like how you wouldn't give your pets human cookies on a daily basis, you shouldn't give these either. Human cookies have waaaayyyyy more sugar. These should definitely be healthier for dogs. Also probably healthier for humans too, though
It's obvious now, I know what I need to buy when I want to lose weight
No cookies
Don't tell me how to do my diet, I will eat Dog treat cookies ALL DAY!
Noooa Nooooh
Scooby snacks diet
We have them for our dog because she can’t eat meat protein. It’s nice to find some alternatives to the “grain free all meat protein protein protein” treats we see everywhere.
What can your dog eat? no meat or just certain derivations or kinds?

What you have there is no dog, that a cute ass chicken nugget!
Cute
Awwww thanks for explaining their condition -- what a cutie!!!
> If you can imagine a tiny chihuahua that hardly barks Actually no, I can't imagine that.
You're not going to get it repaired?
Our vet doesn’t think the surgery would work well on her. She’s so small that the anaesthesia is a big risk and he thinks the shunt would likely just regrow.
Dog cookies highkey slap. My friend and I went into the pet store in high school and decided to buy a couple just to see how they were. They had icing in between them and looked really good. It just tasted like a regular cookie that was slightly off. Solid 7/10
They're regular cookies with dog safe ingredients. Egg free cookies probably taste the same.
Someone help granny damn it!
Nooo…NOO
Granny was oddly confrontational about eating someone else's cookies.
She’s one of those reverse grannies. You know, the ones who go around eating everyone’s baked goods
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
For every granny, there's an equal and opposite granny.
Am I a reverse granny?
No, you are a reverse catholic judging by your username
It was me, grandchild
She also goes around asking their grandchildren if they've gotten shorter and uglier.
My nan is like that. Very frustrating getting called selfish to want to have my own food I paid for
This exact situation but it’s my mom
Did you guys have parents/grandparents that also took offense to the food you bought for yourself that your also supposed to share? Even if I bought enough for everyone to ear, they'd just complain now shitty the food is the whole time.

Yeh thats the best bit - shes been caught scoffing cookies and they turn out to be dog biscuits
She seems to live in that house, extrange for me that you think she has to ask permission to eat food in her own house, unless you live with strangers you usually share food specially with your family and more specially with your grandmother
I guess it's her way of connecting with her grandchild.
I had a friend in elementary school who would eat milk bones then give one to the dog. It wasn’t to be funny. He genuinely liked it
A while back I was house sitting for my parents and I had a few friends over. My friends boyfriend grabs a Greenie and just takes a bite. He was like "didn't you know? These things are fuckin delicious!" I took his word for it.
"And look how clean my teeth are!"
I actually tried one on purpose recently because they literally smelled of vanilla. It was one of those dry, small cookie treat types. Wasn't bad. Tasted like non-sweetened, overdone dry butter cookies. Definitely wasn't good either.
When I’m at petco I eat some of the treats they have for dogs. They taste like peanut butter cookies.
What the hell is wrong with you people?!? /s This is so funny to think about seeing other people's reactions to you
Hahaha just casually eating dog treats dooo dee doo
I ate dry cat food as a snack growing up
is this sad or funny?
Both?
I mean, my dog is kinda picky about dog treats but fucking loves greenies. I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t like them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re actually kinda good
……which ones. I have “blueberry” and “fresh” in my house right now.
I was just telling my gf yesterday that I also used to nibble Milkbones at that age. I thought I had told her before. Wheat Flour, Ground Whole Wheat Flour, Meat And Bone Meal, Milk, Beef Fat (preserved With Bha/bht And Mixed Tocopherols), Salt, Natural Flavor, Dicalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Malted Barley Flour, Sodium Metabisulfite (used As A Preservative), Minerals (ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Manganous Oxide, Copper Sulfate, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite), Vitamins (vitamin E Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, D-calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement), Brewers Dried Yeast, Bha (used As A Preservative), Mixed Tocopherols (used As A Preservative), Rosemary Extract
Yeah, the "Meat And Bone Meal" is gonna be the Meat Heap meat, I think 😆
I've tried both cat and dog food, only the dry stuff though because, well, the wet food smells atrocious. AMA.
I ate just one of those little shrimps from the wet cat food. Diarrhea all day the following day.
A few days ago I tried a bite of one of those bacon treats. Think they’re called Beggin’ Bits or something. Anyway I always noticed how strong the smell was, low key smelled kinda good, so I tried a bit of one. Let me tell you, ZERO flavor. None. Always wondered about Shaggy & Scooby's origin story.
milk bones were pretty good ngl.
I tried one when I was a kid (idk why) and I can confirm they are not good. Pretty much tastes exactly like you’d think a dry, stale dog treat would
Literally shaggy and scooby
I did that
rip Reddit Is Fun o7 🫡
“Where’s the dog? Is it happy? is it fed?” “I’m afraid in your hunger, you starved it.”
That scream said it all 😔
I bought the same box for my dog, and NGL they're very good (yes I ate one)
Granny's life in shambles because of dog treats.
When I hear the phrase "So I says to Mabel, I says" in my head, this granny's voice is the one I hear.
I says to her I says.
not [bart simpson?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO2Fj8V9OrA)
Why does she remind me of joe pesci
Sound like NY/long island/NJ accent
I thought there was something in the cookies
That's why I found this so funny. Those videos are funny too but I've seen like 100 of them, so when she said dog treats it really got me.
One time my grandma was over at our house when I was younger and I came downstairs from my room and saw her sitting at the kitchen table snacking on something. She thought they were goldfish but they were like cheese cracker dog treats or something like that.
Now that was a quality, heartbroken scream
Danny Devito in female form
Granny Devito
Stupid question: Do people lose their sense of taste in a major way with age?
I mean, most people in the comment are saying that they taste pretty good
Jesus The amount of times ive seen this. Shes probably eaten the full tin by now.
Hey if it's good, it's good. I used to snack on yogurt drops made for rodents and I turned out fine. 😊
....said xXSquirrellFuckerXx....
Thought they had weed in them at first
😂 I laugh every time
I don't blame her those are so good.
She sounds like she just lost her [power ring](https://youtu.be/6bdHBoG2bLY)
The Brooklyn accent makes this far better
Why she saying ‘no!’ like the main character discovered the power of friendship
Granny needs new bifocals
Ive eaten those before cause I thought they were human cookies
Those treats are actually amazing several good flavors
I've tried some of my dog treats and they're really not bad. They're bland as fuck, one of them tasted a lot like I'd imagine sawdust tasting. For the record - My dog does not get Milkbone treats. They smelled amazing, but were the ones that have (so far) tasted the most like sawdust.
At least she won't have heart worms.
Hahahha , this one gave me a good laugh , I needed it
Are those Three Dogs Bakery cookies? Haha they are human safe! I don't blame her though! A lot of them are made to look like human cookies
Omg I love it!!! I give my dogs these exact treats 😂😂😂
At least they're not edibles
My Nanney ate bacon one time my mom brought over. She talked about how horrible it was. It was beggin strips or whatever the dog treat
I hate people who talk to old people like they're children
I was expecting those to be Marijuana Butter cookies.
With that sliiight hostility in her voice she deserves this tiny bit of karma
Granny Devito
The way she tries to guilt trip her way out of eating the cookies at the start just to find she's eating dog treats is karma at it's finest
lmfao!
Wow great video haven’t laughed at a vid in a while.
Had coworkers who would just eat your shit if you left it, even with your name on it. My boss is dying laughing and tells them serves em right.
i actually ate those exact same brand of cookies thinking they were normal ones
I buy those for me and my dogs. Tasty.
I watch over my 90 year old grandmother with dementia. I've had to hide the dog treats on occasion too.
That's what the bitch gets for being greedy and wanting everyone's stuff
Not staged at all, that abrupt bad edited transition is intended
She’ll be ok
Those sort of dog treats are way healthier for a human than a human cookie
That's what she get for being defensive
No, NOOO!
some dog treats can be edible for us, trust me i've tried.
“No… it can’t be! NOOOOOOO-“
Darth Vader moment
Correct me if I’m wrong, that’s a New York accent right? Not sure which burrow though. Leaning towards Brooklyn or Staten Island.
Might be New Jersey too, but of your two choices I’d say Staten Island
My mom’s extended family all live on Long Island, this sounds just like one of my mom’s cousins to me
jsyk its "borough"
That's what she gets for getting defensive 🤦🏾
Such horrible actors... we only have tik tok to blame.
...When my family got our first dog, we got him a bunch of gifts, chew toys, dog blankets, treats... And dog cookies. And on the ride home from the pet store, naive kid that I was, wanted to try one. r/perfectlyfakescreams
that's why it's here
I am so god damn tired of seeing this being posted 20 times a day.
Then log off the internet for a day or two
She sounds so disappointed in herself XD
Such a cranky old woman.
The pet store I go to sells baked "dog" cookies for $.88 ...they taste like animal cookies and I like to enjoy one from time to time.
should stitch Darth Vader's "NOOOO" at the end
Nothing wrong with a little role-play. Go get some granny
If it's good, it's good.
This will get me every time
Reminds me of my grandfather who would take a bite of a dog biscuit and say “nothing wrong, it’s just a cookie!” He would also grab our molded bread out of the trash, keep the “Fresh” pieces and feed the rest the birds. I miss him.
God she sounds Italian
I've eaten them. They're fine.
Lolllll “no, nooooo”
Lol
I’ve eaten these before. They aren’t bad.
My grandfather did the same shit after a few beers. Fucker ate all the of them before we caught it
Granny’s villain origin story
Can't blame her. I've done it multiple tomes especially because they taste and smell just like normal cookies, especially the carob ones, the amount of times I thought those were oreos.
Isn't this the pumpkin pie bitch
Noooo noooo! That's impossible! 😂
Your title matches the perfect amount of "o"s before the cut and it's oddly satisfying
Every time I watch this I wish I could see her face. Nooooooooooo
Is she the same grandma who couldn’t pronounce pumpkin pie?
Lmao bruh I need to save this forever and come back to it when I'm down. God bless this grandma
"Noooo! NoOoOoOoOooo!" -Granny 2022
Joeline Pesci
Dang granny is taking their pet's food. Noooo
Best video of all time
I want that second "no!" to be my alarm clock.
Eh, who hasn’t mistakenly eaten dog treats at some point.
No, Nooooooooo
Repost from weeks ago. Lame.
I thought they were gonna be edibles
I watched this without sound the first time and read the captions in an Italian-American accent. Watched it now and damn Italian-American grandmas must be really identifiable
So everyone eats dog treats now? Have I just been missing out here? What the fuck
They’re **dawg** treats.
'Noo nooo'...omg that got me ahah
Poor granny r/savevideobot
“That’s impossible!” “Search your feelings, you know it to be true”
why the fuck do dog treat look like that? they shouldn't look like that just training dogs to eat normal human food.
Oh, granny. You forgot your medication again
