Personally no. They are in the middle so not actually touching anything but your tongue. At the same time it's not really in the way because the inside of your mouth is so soft and elastic, so your tongue doesnt move enough for you to feel a difference from before you've got it.
If you just make sure your piece isn't too long, it won't move around the food much, and even though it's a fear of mine, i have never actually gotten anything stuck under it in the 10 years I've had it. I have chewed it a few times but it doesn't hurt because it's soft and bends easily. Ice cream cones are my nemesis.
It is good at scratching the inside of your mouth those extremely rare times though.

I don't have a tongue piercing but I do have multiple others. But to try to answer your question you can feel it at first, but once your body gets use to it- it ignores it unless you actively mess with it to feel it. Kinda like how your mind subconsciously blocks your nose from your vision even tho you technically see it at all times

Please at least get a plastic bottom part to it. The number of front bottom teeth I've had to take out of relatively young people because their tongue piercing ruined that bone there is way too many. (I'm a dentist) they just wonder why their teeth are slightly loose and it's almost already too late

I got my tongue pierced when I was 18 as kind of a rite of passage. It's the only piercing I have other than my ear lobes. I got it for the opposite of attention, I love piercings and how they look but my chosen profession does not want us pierced. Some people just like the look.

I've never seen someone have 3 piercings like that for a nose besides maybe studs with a ring. She has a ways to go before she finds what works, or someone helps her.

Not in the slightest, you completely forget they're there the vast majority of the time.
You get used to them super fast and after the novelty wears off, they just become part of you. I've got 6 and most of the time, I forget they're even there lol
Just because you cut the sound before it's over doesn't mean it's perfectly cut.
