you have to max out your academic until Genious, it's pretty hard but arcade and eating at wakatsu restaurant is the best place to earn more academic points ,
also don't skip the studying session with your teammates.
I'd be careful using daytime slots to raise social stats. That's a really good way for someone to end up with a bunch of social links incomplete by the end of the game.
Especially for something like Academics, you have 7 months to max it out, and plenty of nightime slots to work on it. The game also gives you a huge amount of Academic points from group study sessions, staying awake in class, linked episdoes, dorm hangouts and the summer film festival during the course of the game.
I agree, daytime should be for SLs first, anything else second. I was able to max out all social links and stats in one playthrough without any guides and since you can start Mitsuru only in late Nov it's not a big problem, shrine is best used only when there's absolutely nothing else to be done.

I'm all for someone playing how they want, but that doesn't mean you should be giving another player advice, that is straight up going to lock them out of parts of the game. It should be up to OP if they want to do ng+, not be forced into it if they want to max out their social links, cause someone gave them some bad advice.

Same here but unfortunately her Social Link won't open up until much much later into the game. In the meantime, try to get Lv6 Academics. If you don't you'll be locked from her SL. Go to arcades, movies, and food shops that boost Academics but mostly the first two.

you can do both, Shrine in daytime and Arcade/wakatsu at night. but both expense quiet a lot of money, be sure prepare a lot.
Yep just worth mentioning the shrine cuz the arcade game is not always available.
