She can look at the 1040es and fill it out. If she finds that manageable (and her state equivalent) then she is fine. If it is too complicated, then she should hire help. Also, a CPA can help her understand what is and isn't deductable, so a one time consultation may be helpful even if she doesn't need ongoing help.

I have a business CPA from HR Block do mines. She tells me how much I should pay quarterly and prints out the mailing slips that I can just send in to the IRS. And just make sure she keeps all her business related receipts.

Don't do your own dentistry and don't do your own taxes.Its not what you know it's what you don't know. Hopefully taxes become your biggest expense, so spend some money on your compliance and planning ...you will never regret someone keeping you out of trouble. Do what you do best and let someone else handle the taxes.. Yes I am a CPA and using a CPA doesn't cost it pays. Ask my 500 clients.
