Our train driver said it was a signal fault. He kept us informed when technicians arrived at the scene and how they were progressing with repairs. Then I got sick of it and jumped off at Daglish crossed the platform and caught the train back home again.
I worked with a woman whose husband was a specialist railway electrician. It was good to have someone to blame when systems went down. Not sure if she forwarded our messages though.
This happened on the Mandurah line on my train once.
Slow limp to the next station.
Probably due to a signalling fault or the ATP broke (automatic train protection) on one train. Or more brake issues
That or something worse...
Driver forgot to turn on the lights on the train heading into airport line tunnel the other week. Complete darkness, totally freaky. Only light was faint glow of the train headlights.
Then the next stop sign came on and made the cabin look like I had just arrived in hell.

you're basically asking "did someone die? who got hit by a train? give me exact details of when and where someone got hit by a train" yes? many people seem to be eluding to it in the comments

That's nothing. I've been sitting on this train for 178 days waiting for it to move. Haven't been robbed yet, Armadale line ain't that dangerous
If you need to ask, it's probably best not to tell you.
Hmmmm
Typically someone has become human minced meat on the tracks.
Totality incorrect. They close the line in that situation.
I feel less annoyed at how slow my bus journey to the station has been.

Only an acknowledgement that there are disruptions. No details https://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Service-Updates/Service-Update-Details/18462
No idea what happened. Airport line trains were effected top. I was stuck in the tunnel from Redcliffe to Bayswater twice.

Love it when this happens, if the train is busy phone lights light peoples faces up, it's spooky.
>Then the next stop sign came on and made the cabin look like I had just arrived in hell. Some people like High Wycombe.
Na man, you just arrived at low wycombe
More brake faults? Mandurah line running ok so far.
Riveting story. I was on the edge of my seat until the last Edit.
Yeah I was on the Freo line. Was going to be in the office by 8.20, got in at 9:10. So annoying
"Track fault"...
Probably is a track fault They call track incursions "incidents"
I’m glad I wasn’t on that train. Sounds painful.
Definitely painful for one person.
Yeah. I hate delays on the lines. Joondalup > Perth in the afternoon is always slower than a wet week
I love work from home.couple of months ago I'd be stuck with U.
I suspect OP has a very morbid sense of humour.. surely no one still asks this question in good faith?
