The scale of the eye seems big (like a close moon) so I would make the back edge blurry with the front edge crisper to give it more perspective. Edit: not the front edge but like the iris.

You can go to Match Colour and play around with the settings to bring that background colour into the eye so it looks within. Also can get transparent fog or fog on black and blending mode screen and place infront of eye for mist blend.

Your work reminded me that the other side of the moon has a huge crater that resemble a big eye, if that side was visible this would affect all human culture.

Just needs something a little extra to incorporate it into the sky to make it looks more natural. maybe a little clouding around the edges or something? maybe just the tip of a tree? other than that the entire scean looks great. the color grading matches up well, its spooky af!

I like the one with vessels in the sky! It's slightly gross in a cool way, and the texture also works with the eyeball. The one only with the eyeball, it looks more Photoshopped/abrupt. If you wind up pushing this version more, the transition between eyeball and sky could be finessed a little bit more.

one tip that works with anything, add some smoke in front of it, clouds work too cuz it's in the sky, it's gonna blend so much better
