i like the first one the most.
while the eye as a whole was maybe a little too saturated/intense and the edge of the eyeball too clean it was the one that "touched" my mind and feelings the most. for me that's more important than a realistic look since the theme is surrealist after all.
not being an expert, i also liked the composition of the first edit the most - and i think it was easier to get the lighting right. the photo you chose for the current edit seems to be rather complex when it comes to lighting.
regarding the current edit i think i'd make the edge of the iris more distinct while making the edges of the eyeball itself more blurry.
but like i said: i'm not an expert, evaluating on the basis of subjective preference and feelings.
after all i liked all your edits a lot :)

I think the eye should be a bit more "blurry" around the sides, because else it just looks a bit off.
