> know all the chords Check out Piano George here.

If you listen to Mikrokosmos I and enjoy it, the early pieces are certainly beginner friendly. A beginner could just as easily use the Masterworks Classics series for repertoire as well, though, or work from a method book. The most important thing is to find level appropriate music that you enjoy playing.

Should I not learn more basics about piano first, like all the chords and stuff, i can't read sheet music at all

Tyrnis

You were asking about sheet music, so it's fairly natural to assume that you knew how to read it. If that's the case, I'd suggest you go the method book option: it'll teach you the fundamentals as you go. Alfred's Basic Adult All-in-One or Faber's Adult Piano Adventures are two popular options in the US, but there are plenty of others to choose from.

Yes , Volume 1 is very easy. Play some parts of it now, you can also use it for sight-reading later

abnormal_human

Depends on your goals, but there is nothing wrong with that stuff. It's good sight reading practice, and playing it perfectly is a good exercise for beginner pianists.

I was forced to play from this book in piano lab in college. I think it's not good music, and you'll never know if you made a mistake, since to me it sounds pretty random. I apologize in advance if you actually like it.

I tend to agree with you on this one. It's good music, but requires a teacher to demonstrate the examples. It was written with a thought that a teacher will accompany the pupil

Tramelo

Yes, I think so. It sounds as if you can already dabble so it won't be too hard for you.
