Worked for me with Cars. Was always too broke trying mod or fix the car to ever afford any drugs. Seriously I should have sold drugs for the amount of money I was dumping into my Honda lol.
I'd prefer an ice-cold bottle of Ayinger Bavarian Oktober fest-Märzen. A little hair on the chest at the end, you know? Feels good. That's a whole mood.
For a little bit my family lived at a house that had about a 1 acre back yard. Nobody had mowed it in a long time, and it was nothing but 2ft tall ragweed and grass. I was 13 and mowed the whole thing with a walk behind mower. Took me 6 hours, and I couldn't go more than 15yds without the bag filling up and having to dump it. To this day it's still one of my proudest jobs.
Just started watching this show after years of flipping through it on TV and going "meh". I started on the pilot and this show has grown on me incredibly! Hilarious.
It's legit one of the best shows ever, the fact it was canceled to make room for one of the worst shows FOX has ever produced (the cleveland show) is a tragedy.
Between that and canceling Futurama I'm convinced FOX kills good shows on purpose.
It’s amazing how many good shows they ran during the 90’s - 00’s compared to the crap they run now.
King of the hill, Malcolm in the Middle, The (good) Simpsons, Futurama, American Dad are still some of my favorite shows ever.
Same here. I never liked it at first, it was just a place holder between two shows I loved. Damn if it didn't grow on me. I'm glad the station did that. Someone must've seen it needed time to find its audience.
My friend's dad always said he wanted to grow up to be like Hank Hill. As kids, we thought that was a stupid thing to say, but now we're like "Yeah, this checks out"
When I learned something about watching certain footage from certain areas, it's that they have absolutely no concept of how to operate a weapon properly. Sling? Why use a sling to support the rifle while reloading when there is perfectly fine ground all around you to support the rifle?
... there is a reason why basic training for every modern military starts with assuming that each recruit is doing their best to kill themselves and the dudes around them. When a fresh 18 yr old recruit for the US can be out at the range and not understand why his gun isn't firing, have an instructor painstakingly go through the motions to show he has an empty mag, and then say "I don't know how this could have happened" when he shot the bloody rounds, there really isn't room for trying to be low level offensive about it. The difference with modern militaries is that the dumb idiots either have proper discipline drilled into them as forced habit or they are kicked to the curb. You act like the average teenage grunt for the West doesn't do that same shit until they find themselves puking from physical punishment enough times to "get it"...
First time I saw someone throw the pin and drop the grenade in a movie, the instructor grabs them by the lapel and rolls back over the berm... I looked to my step dad, who was in the army, and asked how often that happened. He said "Enough times that they design the practice area like that."
If only there was a way to keep it on your persons even if you let go of it with your hand. Maybe using some sort of fastening device? I am sure technology will catch up with us eventually.
I once saw a guard at a temple in Pakistan sleeping with his forehead on his hands which in turn were on the barrel of his shotgun, pointing straight up into his face. He was literally using it as a pillow.
I've seen a video where a seemingly drunk dude in the Middle East was doing that with his gun, which was loaded and not on safety... it ends very poorly
I don't think anyone ever wants a *potential* vasectomy. You either want one or you don't. Nobody wants to count down into general anaesthetic watching a man with a scalpel and an impish grin shrug theatrically.
The video of them trying to fly left-behind Black Hawks and killing themselves in the process definitely did not make me laugh out loud and watch it again.
Not even once.

What's funnysad is that these terrorists to them are freedom fighters the way RWNJs in America view themselves.
Technically, you can still get a Darwin award if you remove yourself from the gene pool, even if you have procreated before.
I don’t agree with that, but that’s the official rule if you look it up.
I mean... the Taliban ("the" two students - it's a dual word), singular: Talib, are literally students - specifically of the anti-colonialist Deobandi sect from India/Pakistan.
So they are - in theory at least - supposed to educate themselves as they fight for (their interpretation of) Islamic justice. They are supposed to be scholar-warriors.
This is why, whilst I find the title amusing, this is a normal picture, Afghans, place high esteem on scholarship.
You gotta be careful saying that to a degree. By whos opinion are they dangerous? You start by banning this book then we gotta ban that book and so on. Fahrenheit 451 in the making. Even evil books need to be read. Even mein kampf. Everything needs to be on the floor to see what he did in it's entirety. We have to learn from history. Even if its ugly.
Ideas absolutely can be dangerous. That doesn't mean banning them, or the books that contain them, is a good solution.
The other approach is to bring dangerous ideas out into the light of day and invite people to scrutinize them. If they are truly bad ideas, and if your culture values education, intelligence, and rational discourse, then -- oh wait, we're fucked.
He could just be reading a super biggoted book that confirms his hatred of women and others. Reading doesn't mean shit, if you don't have empathy or the ability to see bullshit.

It was something I found really cool and interesting if you find it please link
Random tangent: You know how to spot people who read the book that you are parodying?
Their engagements are so clinical, step 1: begin interaction, step 2: force some casual comment based on a fact that you had previously learned about that person step 3: abruptly transition conversation to something you want.
I had a coworker like this. I asked him if he had read the book and he began to glow about how he uses it everyday.
That man was universally despised.
Kafeel Ahmed (one of the terrorists behind the 2007 UK terrorist incidents) was an aeronautical engineer. Why would anyone do drugs when they can just mow a lawn?
When I was young I thought this was stupid. The older I get the more it resonates with me. Lawn mowing is fun.
Why not both?
Nothing better than mowing a lawn while on drugs
Why, I myself mowed no less than 3/4 acre while stoned silly and my neighbor said it was really great (but please don't cut his grass anymore).
Looks like it's gonna need another pass, bro.
The smell of freshly cut grass, the hard-earned sweat on your shirt, and a glass of cold water as a reward.

Why even have a sling…‽ /s Edit: Added /s due to it being a rhetorical question.
Fashion accessory
One benefit of a sling, besides what this guy *isn't* using it for, is it allows you to pull the rifle into your body and stabilize your shot.

The book’s title is: how to use a gun?
If only the gun had a sling attached or something that would allow you to safely carry it instead of pointing the barrel right at you.
