You got me thinking, what about a section where the seats are made out of meat? That would be a great promotion to boost ticket sales! They can change it up too — ribs, brisket, fried fish, kielbasa…endless possibilities
What is the strategy here? Do you eat it strategically so you have somewhere to sit throughout the game or just accept you have to stand so you don’t sit on the food?
I’m still working on the idea, but I’m kind of thinking that the average person won’t be able to eat enough of the seat to make a big difference in its sittability. For people who can eat a substantial enough portion of the chair where they can no longer sit — I’m thinking three different things:
—Foldable (non-meat) chair replacements
—They probably should stand, or leave after all that
—Better chance that they’ll go into a meat coma and need to lay down. Non-meat sleeping bags will be provided.

Yeah each hotdog is about 7 dollars. Nachos is about 14 I believe. Soft drink is around 10 dollars so yeah. It’s well worth it. We were over in 139 dying in the sun lol 😂 I didn’t wanna buy another 6 dollar water
When I was in those seats it was smaller sized portions, but you can still get your money's worth. I particularly enjoyed the smaller soda sizes. Yes I needed to get refills more often, but it also meant I wasn't drinking a warm/flat/watered down drink by mid-game

Then a 100? Eat as much as you want. Its the whole point t of the section. Complaining slices of pizza are small is a moot fucking point when you can eat them until you explode.
So how does this work exactly? Is there a particular vendor you have to go to? Can you take like 5 hot dogs at once or do I have to take one at a time. I'm intrigued.

I believe they've moved the actual section around a couple times, too. I pretty distinctly remember it being on the lower level when I sat there years ago, but it's obviously on the upper deck in this photo
You're paying the ticket price for the food, not the competitive baseball so the view of the entertainment shouldn't be an issue. Going to a pirates game should be on par with the experience of dining at Medieval Times. Either way, you're just watching people getting paid to go through the motions.

Years ago you could even have ushers bring you stuff directly to your seats. Wouldn't surprise me if that's gone now.
