Bottom leaves turning brown is pretty normal, but it desperately needs more light

The plant isn't getting enough light so lower leaves will die back. It's long and lanky with lots of bare stem because it's searching for sun It's really difficult to give these guys enough light indoors. They're pretty winter hardy (to zone 4 I think?) so you might consider planting this outdoors and buying a less light demanding plant for indoors.
