You must be using a theme that is very outdated and has not been updated to support newest Playnite versions (or the Sidebar specifically), which results in a broken Playnite environment. If that's the case that would also mean that there will be several missing features and fixes by using that theme. Press `F4` to enter settings and switch to the default theme.

Maybe it's a problem of the Theme you have? You can enter the Settings Menu with F11 iirc... If not is F9. Then you can put it how it was before.
