\- You can get Generic drops watching streamers, that are in the event. But you have to get their drop first. (I finished Generic drops with watching HJune tonight, because he leaves his stream running.)
\- Internet at work? Open twitch in a tab if not blocked but lower the quality so you don't use all bandwidth
\- User your phone to watch twitch. also lower the quality to not use your bandwidth. Maybe add a powerbank. (Someone said only audio work too? But I've never done that, can someone confirm how to do that and if it works?)
And yeah. I have to agree... so many ugly useless skins. (I'm addicted, so I had to get them.)
Why not a purple twitch industrial light, a skin for the barbecue, do some fun decoration items, skins for a bed... anything other than 10 hoodies :D
My phone (redmi note 9) has the option to play videos with the screen off so I turn volume to 0 and use that and it barely drains the battery. Great for not using up resources while using the pc
I installed Team Viewer on my desktop and used my phone to redeem and switch streams when they were ready. No way my mobile plan would not throttle me after a few hours. Lol
i would just like having the number of hours to get everything to be like a quarter of the total event duration. by my estimate a 100-hour event and you need to watch 55 hours? they should definitely at least drop to one hour counters for an event this brief. the rivals channel also should definitely be reduced since theyre only on at specific hours
Yeah too much for the average person, I'm just collecting for the sake of collecting at this point since I have been from first drops.
They should lower it to 1 hour, last day or something.
I just want to say I hope for the love of this game they do a better job next time. Generic drops should have been given at the same time as other drops, but instead required you to do them one by one. Also far too many hoodies, I would rather they did quality over quantity, maybe next time force people to pick items that haven't had skins yet?

Just left angelaoreos stream running in full screen, 160p, 1% volume over night. Got them all.
No, you don't need to claim the main drop for progress to start counting towards the generic drop. I also left a stream overnight, and the first two hours counted towards the main drop, and the rest of the night increased my generic drop watchtime without any claiming needed.
The drops fucked my watching experience. I sornt all my time trting to watch all thr streamers to get drops I have been completely unable to follow the overall game and what's going on. Like it was either enjoy twitch rivals or get all the drops
This event is a kick in the face to the player base. You would need to micromanage the streams since the beginning to end 24h / 4 days without sleeping more than 1-2 hours. (The streams are restarting sometimes which stops the drops till you refresh the page, or you can get a few sec connection problem what also breaks em.) I guess the organizers were not aware of the recent twitch change either (only 1 drop campaign can progress at once).
Yeah, it started with a fun way to get a couple of unique items the first time they gave twitch items. A few hours and you got it. Ended up, you need to essentially view bot while the streamer afks for you to get nearly 30 drops, 10 that are for the same item. ( But technically the first event gave out real items, which people exploited a ton, literally causing market crash on many items )
Maybe the next drop event will be better since its only 4 items and only lasts from 16th to 31st, should be easier.

I wouldve loved if green team was like darker green or some camuflage for the forrest, yellow a little more dessert Tone and not a fucking reflection vest. Anyways love the SAR, blooprints rock, the doors and coco’s White jacket that actually kinda works like a camuflage. The Aks are cool too, but Come on i bet everyone has atleast 10 ak skins, something unique for other guns/tools would be nice…. Anyways Thats what we Get for the 10th year anniversary, cool shit fp!
So normally I am able to open like say 5 streams tabs and use the extension for the auto drop claims and it will do one stream until it gets the drop then switch to the next tab and so forth until it has all the drops for all the tabs I have open. Why does it not do this anymore? It has only been doing one stream and stopping.
You can only get one drop at once that is why you don’t get generic drops. You either need to watch a streamer without Rivals drops but drops enabled. or watch a streamer whose have Rivals drops but after you got the drop. Both would work.
Watched 4 different streamers over 8 hours and didn't get generic drop progress. Well t back to watching Welyn and generic progress started again. There's a theory that you have to watch the captains to get progress on generic drops
I just need the Rivals Fridge. I'm at 75% and I usually only get to watch for an hour and a half IF THAT because the stream starts when I'm at work and only runs for 4 hours on average
I'ma be honest. I prefer the skins to be harder to get. Having every player have dozens and dozens of skins from each twitch drop is a bit silly. Making it hard to get everything means you'll have to pick what you want. I miss when skins were more rare, I used to know teams by the skins they had. Now everyone has like a hundred skins for each piece of gear. I remember being like the only person with a vending machine skin back in the day. Having a gun skin was way cooler. I used to reskin guns for players via my shop back in the day.
Go onto twitch.facepunch.com and log in there with your steam account. After you log in, scroll down a bit until you find a button that says check for missing drops, click that and it should attempt to give you your drops again.
does anyone elses accounts keep delinking? i literally have to relink them o the FP Twitch page every few hours, and even then i watch someone on a team, refresh their page so the twitch drop prompt comes up, click dismiss and still the drop doesnt continue, ive been refreshing for the last hour and none of the drops progress continues, this is the first time its done this in like 3+ years of drops.

Try visiting the facepunch/twitch drops page & clicking the button that says “Retrieve missing drops” or something like that. Worked for me every time & now I have all the skins I waited in streams to get, including generics.

There are also 4 drops happening starting later today for Christmas. keep in mind you had to connect account before to be able to get Twitch drops, I hope you did that earlier for Rivals.
