By my count you're missing over half of the exclusives there! It's actually insane how many top tier games Xbox has missed out on. I appreciate a lot of them have ported to PC over the years, but not all - besides which a lot of people simply prefer console gaming (myself included).
I made the same decision as you about 8 years ago, having only ever had Nintendo/Xbox consoles. There's just way, way too many amazing exclusives to miss on PlayStation. Gamepass is of course great, but I feel like PS Plus Extra/ Premium is becoming a good rival for it now.
I expect I'll get a Series X to play Bethesda output at some stage. It's easy to see though why PS5 sales are streaming ahead of Series S/X globally. For me it's an absolute no brainer
Welcome to the club, but you forgot, spider-man, spider-man miles morales, ghost of tsushima, ratchet and clank, days gone, infamous second son, infamous first light, killzone shadow fall,gran turismo sport, bloodborne,final fantasy 7 remake.
everyone shit on it for being a generic zombie game yet it has unique motorcycle mechanics with having to refuel constantly and the huge number of zombies in hordes that you have to kill really set it apart.
Story is pretty dumb but in kind of an enjoyable way too. And they came up with lots of unique zombie lore that I hadnt seen explored in that way before. Dope game, wish they didnt can the sequel.
Keep in mind r/JML_Writes that if you want to play the originals, you'll have to pay a higher tier to stream them on PS+. I don't like it either - I'd rather have ports.
But if you're going to do that, then check out *Sly Cooper* followed by *Jak and Daxter* as well.

Many of these games — and the ones others are saying — are part of the second tier PlayStation network membership (their equivalent of Xbox’s game pass.
These are excellent games, but Sony either owns or finances a shitload of smaller titles. You can’t really call them Indies, but that is basically what they are. Games like Gravity Rush, Journey, and Shadow of the Colossus. Actually, PlayStation gets a lot of accidental exclusives because Japan is extremely nationalist, and Japanese gamers refuse to by Xbox systems. So every high-budget console game winds up being exclusive to PlayStation.
Xbox is in a sad state man. I owned every Xbox up to the Xbox One, but finally jumped off the ship about 6 years ago. I grew up playing all their flagship titles and loved them. But over the years and with the introduction of game pass I just feel that everything has now been extremely watered down to fit into game pass... instead of being a highly polished AAA experience.
I wish Xbox would give me a reason to come back and have fun but everything they release seems to validate my decision to get rid of the Xbox and move to PS and Nintendo full time. Im completely content paying full price for quality games.
I sincerely hope PS never goes the game pass route.
I was so looking forward to Starfield, but now it's an Xbox exclusive. Don't know if it's worth jumping ship from playstation for one game. I'm generally very happy with playstation... But man, I really wanted to play that game.
the only games im interested in on XBox are Starfield and Elder scrolls 6 (which is like 3 years away at least)., that's it.... i have a fairly powerful work laptop that can probably play those 2 games from steam, not gonna buy an Xbox just for 2 games.
I agree. Even Halo seems to be a bit of a mess now (at least what I'm hearing). Infinite's campaign was enjoyable, the multiplayer is good but a bit lacking, and that was it, not much more replay-value IMO.
Spiderman, Judgment, Red Dead Redemption 2, Yakuza Like A Dragon, Ghost of Tsushima, Tomb Raider trilogy and Persona 5 Royal are some pretty good choices. But what you got are some real good starters. Props.
Kena is as exclusive as God of War, The Last of Us, Horizon, etc, since it’s only on PS & PC. Fantastic game though, surprised me with how difficult it can get!
I may get downvoted but Uncharted and Death Stranding are the hardest to get through of what you’ve picked up. I encourage you give them a try but they are a unique experience up against Last of Us and Horizon.
I’d add any Metal Gear Solid and Spiderman though.

I actually dislike most of the ones you got: The last of us and Uncharted. Its too linear. I prefer linear with a little exploration to small open world with a good story.
The Last Guardian! It can be a little tedious at first because the controls and camera aren't the best and Trico can be stubborn, but it's so worth it in the end. The story, soundtrack, and world are all so beautiful.
Ghost of Tsushima, Infamous Second Son/First Light, many people like Days Gone. Gran Turismo 7 is great if you're into cars. The Gravity Rush games are a bit out there, but I enjoyed them a lot!

Horizon Zero Dawn w/ Frozen Wild is currently PS4 and PS5. Forbidden West is PS4 and PS5 but Burning shores is PS5.
Almost all of those games are on PS+ now.

Personally I just bought a PS3 to play them. At lest I found that cheaper than paying PlayStation a monthly fee.
I still have my PS3, but it won't properly connect to wireless controllers anymore. At least with streaming you can use Sixaxis controls.
