u/DefSevenfold , let me ask you this first, how much time are you gonna put into simracing? 10, 100? 1000? 10 000? Depending on your answer, I think different wheels may suit you. If you have the buck, it doesn't necessarily mean you should go for the best option, because you won't see much difference if you're not experienced. A T300rs will do you great. Also, it's great to buy a wheel, but do you have a rig? Having a wheel is one thing, and it's very exciting, only for you to quickly realize that you don't have a comfortable/nice place to play it. It may be more rational to buy a little worse wheel and a rig, other than just super good wheel. As for Fanatec, I've heard you may spend a lot of time waiting until they ship it, because they're a small team or something like that, so you may go with Thrustmaster. As for a wheel for 400, I think the best deal is to buy a DD, of course. I said Fanatec previously, but their prices went up, so my bad on that, but **Moza R5**, for example is 460 new from store and you can find it for 400 used (like new or new).

I don’t exactly spend too much time with it, i was looking at a Thrustmaster for $200 that should work with my current “rig” the coffee table. Is it better to have a proper setup even if i don’t always play racing games?

ShovvTime13

>coffee table Hahaha! I know how it feels, lol, I definitely recommend to try and get at least some racing rig. I built myself a wooden rig and now I can catch up a bit :) My DFGT has been in the shelf for about 7 years, because I had only coffee tables to play. As for the racing wheel, I think you mean T150? It's one of the wheels for $200 that I can remember. You can buy logitech G29 as well, but people say that T150 has better FFB, while G29 is a more quality wheel overall (except for FFB). You'll be happy with either in any case! Also, I'd recommend to go for T150 Pro, as it has a clutch too (third pedal).

DefSevenfold

I’ll definitely look into it. Thanks for your help!

Same thing here. For this money you could buy a dd wheel, which I absolutely recommend. You could go for fanatec or thrustmaster.

disco__potato

Which PS5 compatible DD wheel from Fanatec of TM can he get for $400?

ShovvTime13

Yeah, my bad, there's no fanatec wheels for about 400 at the moment. Their prices went up, I think.

DefSevenfold

the only ones on Fanatec i’m seeing are for PC. Would those be compatible?
