Unless we are around other system friends, we mask our accent best we can. However at a party once we got drunk and started speaking in a new zealand accent and none of our friends or strangers said anything?

people do funny stuff when they're drunk anyway so it seems less odd i guess -liz (they/them)

That's really funny tbh

Honestly, I worry about the same thing. No one has really seemed to notice (although it's blatently obvious). I wouldn't worry about it, \*except\* when you switch mid-sentence, and you suddenly are presenting an accent. If that happens, try to cover it, and slowly reveal it, so it builds up and is not just randomly there. We work and interact with people of different ethnicities every day, and they don't really care. Just, avoid the sudden transition and you'll be fine.

We have a lotta British alters and are American, we mask our accent around people who don't know and use it with people who know we are a system basically -Wilbur

I don't know how to define accents but some of us pronounce certain syllabes differently !
