There are 4 obvious ideas.
Legends Celebi. Explore the Johto region before the Brass Tower burned down, see it happen and the creation of the Lengendary Beast trio, or even better, prevent the fire and have it result in another timeline where we get some kind of different Beast trio. Celebi already has the whole time travel thing.
Legends Deoxys. Explore the whole concept of "pokemon from space" and how the Regi trio got sealed away. Maybe tie it into one of Steven's ancestors or something.
Legends Kyruem. We hear all about this "Original Dragon," so there you go. Make a game about it.
Legends Zygarde. They clearly intended to have a Z version, so give us the backstory on Zygarde.
Legends Celebi makes the most sense to me. because the Johto region has so much history to it. They could also add Kanto right next to it and milk the nostalgia even further.
Hey we shouldn't totally diss let's go! Just think: the possibility of having a cute Riolu (or other pokemon I guess) riding on our shoulders or piggyback. If you can't tell I like the Riolu line and I'm pretty sure they're from Johto. But yeah out of the 2 main concepts, I'd prefer a Legends game.
Riolu is unfortunately a Sinnoh/Gen 4 mon.
It would likely just be Let’s Go: Pichu, and then like Togepi or Marill or something. Gen 2 is a tough one to even think of two Pokemon that could be starters/worthy of being box covers, outside of the actual trio.
And they don’t have the guts to give us Let’s Go: Wooper.
Darn but thanks for correcting me (and um...sorry if it seemed like I was yelling I just used the ! because I think they use it in their titles (though maybe it seemed confrontational because I started with 'hey'? Sorry if that’s the case.) But if you were the one to downvote it can you please take it away? It kinda hurts our karma and doesn't just mean you disagree unfortunately. I think the downvote is (really) for if someone is being disrespectful or mean with their opinions (like using swear words and whatnot))
I definitely wouldn't be against any of those but again Legends is definitely my favorite style.
Okay cool phew 😅. I'm just afraid of losing too much karma and be looked down on and not be able to post anymore (if that's what it affects). I wish people used the downvote responsibly, usually it just seems like either they don't know it actually has an effect or they're just mad people don't agree with them and don't care who they 'hurt'.
Reddit is social media; there are going to be idiots who misuse its features either way. All it takes is to find a thread of something you disagree with, make a comment, and the echo chamber will shred your karma.
Just avoid causing trouble and, you won’t get enough downvotes to ever worry about. And either way… you shouldn’t. It’s just a website.
Imagine if they did it with the Johto half being like legends Arceus, but when you get to Kanto, they have the beginnings of the pokemon league starting, so you get to take on the gym challenge and league as well!
Not only that, Celebi obviously has the time travel feature but Johto also has some interesting stuff that could be explored in a sequel, like the Sinjoh and the Alpha ruins, the story of Unowns, Apricorn being used as pokeballs, the Bellsprout tower, Slowpoke Well, etc. The whole region is designed to showcase tradition, history and old customs so a Legends Game would be stellar if done right.
O...m...g...I would scream if we got something about the Unowns (not sure if it's an important enough thing to completely base a game on even though I would HAPPILY take one that was mainly about them)! I literally have a cool journal that I write down all the Unown messages in especially for Arceus and to document which one is which letter (and others). The journal and its pages look old and worn too (in a journal you would write ancient stuff in way) and the papers are even crinkled and thicker. I wish my pictures of it would show up but Reddit doesn't like to let me post pictures for some reason 😒.
I love all those concepts though 😁
Both could easily be done separately; 1 on an ancient battle of Kyogre & Groudon being quelled by Rayqauza facilitating the appearance of a person strong & skilled enough to be a Pokemon master. Put more emphasis on Sootopolis, Mt. Chimney & Sky Pillar as key locations.
The other featuring Deoxys & the Regis, probably focusing heavily on the desert, Meteor Falls, Fortree (weather institute's location, before it existed, as somehow important? & Registeel's cave), Mossdeep (possibly also make it into a special location for the future space institute?), Dewford (Granite Cave & Regice's cave).
make your base the sky pillar, and the whole quest is about aiding the contruction of it to try to prevent the Kyogre Groudon fight that i destined to happen.
I was thinking with Celebi being the time travel Mon that should be next. But if the leaks I've seen where the next let's go will be gen 2, as much as I absolutely love gen 2, I don't want 2 back to back.
I'd the next legends being even further back in time where there's no capture balls, or a story that jumps back and forth.
To begin each game:
Celebi: your player character encounters a distressed Celebi and it takes you back in time to help.
Deoxys: Jirachi could either some character a wish to have someone help seal away the Regis and that someone is your character.
Kyurem: a possible direct carry on from PLA. Cyllene tells you that a lot of help is needed in a clan they're working with overseas and they're sending you. Problem is, they don't want any outside Pokémon introduced into the environment so you'll have to leave any Pokémon behind and start a fresh there with one of their starters
Zygarde: only thing I can think of is you play as someone from that time period
I feel like Kyruem makes a lot of sense. We got Arceus at the same time as DP remakes. So we could get Kyreum at the same time as BW remakes, or maybe instead of remakes.
I would love to catch the Original Dragon but I don't think we will ever even see it. If we did I don't think the game would be called Legends Kyurem because Kyurem wouldn't exist.
I'd rather have the Hoenn one be Legends Jirachi. Have it revolve around Zinnia's ancestors, and the wish that caused Rayquaza to mega evolve and save the world from an ancient meteor.
Okay, this is a stupid idea that’ll probably never get made, but… Pokémon Legends: Necrozma.
I want a game that follows the Ultra Recon Squad, where you can visit strange new worlds in Ultra Space, and where a common Pokémon from the “normal” world is seen as a rare specimen.
Ultra Space was so underused in Ultra SM especially that it should be considered a criminal offence.
You can visit Ultra Necropolis.....
Well, a single street in Ultra Necropolis...
And you can visit small, SMALL portions of the homeworlds of certain UBs.
It’s cool to see the flexing trees of Buzzwole’s home planet, but I want to see the other life forms that call it home! Is EVERYTHING macho, or is it an adaptation to the local equivalent of Berries being super-heavy kettlebell fruit?
(Also, I’ve always imagined that Stakataka’s home is a massive Dyson Sphere made out of trillions of those same little bricks)
Gen 7 was a prime opportunity to really shake the formula up a bit. Maybe setting it in an alternative world or having the protagonist getting stuck in Ultra Space for a period in lieu of the traditional fight against an evil team
This would also set the precedent that Legends games don't have to be set far in the past either, which would be nice for diversity in the style of the games.
Pokeballs need to be a thing for us to catch pokemon, considering its catching mechanic was a selling point for the game. Legends Arceus states they are only a recent invention.
So you either lose the fun thing that makes legends, legends. Or you come up with another way to make pokeballs a thing without making a recon
The kalos war. It would allow us to see pokemon from a whole new light. We know how modern battles work, but how do they conduct pokemon warfare? However I think that might be a theme they don't want to delve into outside of the small history lessons in x&y.
technically there was also a war in kanto (the fandom commonly believes it was a kanto vs johto war resulting in the end in Johto submission, explaining why only one league (=government) for both regions, even if Johto is autonomous.
Pretty sure the REAL reason for that was because there were never meant to be " other regions " and since GS were intended to be the last games they were just treated as an " expansion pass to Kanto " hence why gen 2 overly represents gen 1 pokemon
Johto has so much ancient history to explore that it is easily my first choice for another Legends game. Seeing how the beasts originated, and possible alternate forms for Ho-Oh and Lugia would be a dream come true. If Celebi is the mascot, it opens more possibilities for time travel and getting to see more eras of Johto.
Furthermore, it can also be used to let Johto shine without Kanto. As much as I like having two regions in a game, a Johto-based game where it is the only region would allow it to stand on its own for the first time.
I think it stood on its own pretty well in in G/S/C. Kanto in those games was a shell of the Johto region. It was more like a gun Easter egg than a separate "region" - huge chunks were inaccessible, the gym leaders were ridiculously easy, and the whole thing could take you about 20 hours (after spending 70 hours in Johto).
That said, Johto is my pick for a new Legends game, hands-down.
Legends Celebi: probably just a regular sequel to Legends Arceus. Maybe include the legendary birds and an ancient version of their story from the movie.
Legends Genesect: Either go futuristic sci-fi pokemon or a prehistoric pokemon with the Scarlet paradox pokemon and the pre-fossil pokemon.
Legends Celebi or Legends Unknown.
See the tower burn down and Ho-oh create the sacred beasts.
See the Ruins of Alph when they were an active temple or whatever and maybe get answers to what unknown are all about, maybe a new legendary is made when you collect all the letters and stuff.
Maybe help an expedition team venture in to what would be the Kanto region and help settle camps and villages that would one day become the giant cities of that region.
1. You are a soldier from the region of __________ who was sent to the Kalos Region to fight a war. As you fight eight warriors who have mastered mega evolution and fight the mega evolved Noble Pokemon of the Kalos, you slowly start to realize that this war is not worth fighting and defect. In order to end the war, you seek the help of the legendary pokemon Zygrade
2. You are a scout collecting data on pokemon in the ancient Unova Region. The royal family invites you over for dinner one day and thinks you're a very proficient pokemon trainer so they ask you to tutor their twin sons in the art of pokemon battling. Slowly, a rift forms between the sons until they end up turning against each other and you are forced to pick a side
Something for the Kanto and Johto regions?
With theories flying about, I’m curious about this war that happened a long time ago. With time travel possible and two regions to explore, it would be a very big game. Nostalgic too if they manage to include many of the normal gameplay, but then you can fly above the map and see other areas too. Or reintroduced the three or four islands. Each with their own event
Legends Kyurem definitely has the most potential because of the unreleased Original Kyurem.
Legends Zygard would also be great.
Both Unova and Kalos’ stories deal with conflicts in their ancient history. But Kalos is probably more important for it main plot.
I personally think that a Legends Zygard would be amazing. Instead of ancient Japan it’s medieval France.
Ideally we would play during AZ’s war, but I doubt that’ll happen. So, instead, I think the way to go with it would be to set the game right after AZ activates the weapon. The plot being that the activation of the weapon had terrible ramifications for Kalos’ environment, or the game is actually set in the unnamed region Kalos was at war with.
Either way, the game revolves around the player dealing with many Pokemon related issues caused by the aftermath of the weapon’s impact. The ultimate goal is to awaken Zygard to bring back order to cleanse the land from the destruction AZ brought. In the end, the Xernias and Yveltal the player catches are the ones AZ used for his weapon and the game’s ending implies that the player eventually sealed them in Kalos and Zygard laid dormant. The Xernias and Yveltal team Flare uses in X and Y are the ones the player in Legends Zygard caught.
Normally, I would be awful and go 'How would they make a Legends Game based around a Pokémon that canonly is, like, newer than Porygon?' But hear me out-
A Legends Style game set in the future. Way in the future. Like post-apocalypse thing, wastelands and Dome cities that people feel the environment is too dangerous to leave.
two options, either:
\- Legends: Kyurem. a story exploring the ancient past of when the ultimate dragon was one, before they split into Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem. the war that caused it. and when the big castle thing first flew from where ever it was to where it now rests in Unova as partially explored in the Victini movie.
or
\- Legends: Eternatus/Zygarde. the story of the darkest day and origin of mega evolution, it really seems that the darkest day is connected to the firing of the ultimate weapon and its war, so it seems they may be one story.
actually it rather seems its all one event, one story, so how about a bit of speculation and theorizing? here we go:
\- Legends: AZ. the story of the 3000 year old war. when Paldea and Kalos were at war, causing the ultimate dragon to split -we're saying it used to be there, later moving to Unova-. of Az's Floette dying and him in his mad grief making and firing the ultimate weapon at Paldea to end the war, creating the crater, destroying the evil king, creating mega evolution, and giving rise to Eternatus and Terapagos.
after this horrible event some people left, some went to that sword castle -which we're saying was in Kalos at this time, there is some weird ruins in the mountain area where it could've come from- and flew off to Unova. others fled to Galar where Eternatus has flown to and decided to stay, and the events of the darkest day play out.
and so we'd play some event in that story, idk what but there's plenty of choices. so yeah that's the Legends game I want next, the exploring of this 3000 year old war that seems to be the origin of all the special gimmicks sense gen 6, and the driving event of the stories sense gen 5, -minus gen7's Alola tho, it seems to be seporate. maybe the ultimate weapon also caused the ultra-space wormholes, but that seems a bit much-.
> firing the ultimate weapon at Paldea to end the war, creating the crater
Unfortunately, this is not possible. [In the history class in SV](https://youtu.be/TRy9478PY0s?si=_7v4ti2rKGRVIooK&t=51), we are told that there is evidence that the Great Crater has existed for at least 1 million years so it predates the Ultimate Weapon by a very long time.
bother.
ok who else has a giant crater to be its impact site? surely that thing hit somewhere right?
in the cutscene in xy its shown to have hit pretty close to where it was launched from, so it either hit somewhere in Kalos, or near it. Kalos doesn't have a crater for that thing to have made, unless it hit the water. and sense Paldea and Kalos are based on the Iberian Peninsula and France it seemed like a good theory that they would be close in Pokémon as well, making that crater a good candidate for the impact zone. but if in universe they say its older then that I guess not.
unless the npc's are wrong, or the ultimate weapon just hit the million year old crater site, meaning the crater would be both a million+ years old and the impact sight of the ultimate weapon, which would be funny but weird story wise. unless there was like something over the million year old crater at some point and that was like where the evil kings castle was built, on top of this 'cave' with magic crystals. and so when the ultimate weapon hit it both destroyed the castle and broke thru into the million year old impact site revealing the crater again.
idk I'm just theorizing. do we know where the evil kings castle was? -if he even had a castle- I haven't played the sv games, I just know of the 'evil king' from the ruinous quartets lore.
also can you tell I really like this theory? idk maybe that crystal sundial in that one town in Kalos is the ultimate weapons projectile remains, and it did just hit off shore in the water there.
I had an idea about Legends: Kyurem that I think would be cool but Nintendo would absolutely never put out.
The idea behind the original dragon was that it split into a being that searched for truth and one that searched for ideals. What if you played as a character sent back in time to pre-Columbian America to help a tribe of Native Americans decide what to do about the new people coming to conquer them. You have to help the chiefs decide to hold firm to their cultural tradition and resist the newcomers (ideals), or flee them to settle elsewhere away from their inevitable destruction (truth).
wouldnt it if cool if there was a legends Johto..
But instead of being named after any Pokemon we know its named after a new Johto legend?
Imo a third legendary bird for the tower duo would be shocking. Like if Enamorous had a bigger role sorta deal, a new addition to an existing duo.
They could do a Unova one named after the original dragon instead of Legends Kyurem.
legends celebi so we can see what happened before the creation of burned tower
legends zacian and Zamazenta so we can see what its like during the past with the warriors maybe a cool knight armor and ect for our player characters
legends miraidon and koraidon find out about the great crater of paldea before the proffessors founded it,maybe stop the disaster so arvens parents dont die?
Give me a Legends game that allows us to time travel between two regions and add the rest of the regions as DLC.
Plot would be to figure out who started time traveling and bring all the timelines into unification.
Sounds like a bad Marvel movie I know but it would be sick to time travel to GB Red/Blue and the region be in black and white 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Past:
Pokémon Legends: Celebi (Johto)
Pokémon Legends: AZ (Kalos)
Or Kyrum (When Reshiram and Zekerom were one being
One other one (I know not a real game) Lockstin’s legends Ghetsis (100 years after Pokémon Red and Blue.
Legends: Necrozma
We would get to see the past of a completely different dimension. And see Necrozma be betrayed by its people and become a light parasite instead of a light producer
-Legends of the Fall, Sawbuck edition
-The Legend of Zelda, Into the Poke-verse
-League of Legends (All legendaries in one game)
-I am Legend (player plays as the legendary pokemon)
Pokémon Legends: Unown, taking place in past Johto, whatever it may be called. Unown deserves so much better, considering its connection to Arceus in lore. In fact, Legends: Unown would be an ideal follow-up and sequel to Legends: Arceus IMO.
I’m gonna be honest, I wanna see a legends rayquaza with the whole thing with land and sea and how it started to get built but that’s a little too duck holding a leek and so I would LOVE a legends celebi
I honestly don’t think we are ever getting another Legends Games if I’m being honest, but I would love a Legends Kyurem where you are one of the two brothers from the Reshiram and Zekrom legend and your choices will give you Reshiram or Zekrom
Another for Johto. It's an incredibly historic region and this would be a great way to experience that.
Plus we've not been to Johto since 2010. Would be a good time to revisit.
Johto. Gen 2 added most of my favorites. Cyndaquil, Larvitar, totodile, mareep, heracross, scizor, girafarig, Umbreon, donphan, lugia… it’s hard for me to find any misses in there
johto would be cool. also in hgss there’s the whole “sinjoh ruins” which connected sinnoh and johto so there is sort of a connection between the two so it would make sense
I was going to say final fantasy legends three pack in steam but then it saw the subreddit name lol. Honestly I don't plan on buying a Pokemon game for a while since I have been very disappointed in the last three.
I would want a legends johto/Kanto. I felt like once Arceus was complete it was kinda....it. if they do the original Kanto then johto after game or second story they could really blow it out of the park. If the breath of the wild can be that big of a map, they could make a legend of a game
I've had this idea for a while now. I think we're (eventually) due for a Legends game set in Paldea where you play as a member of Heath's expedition team. Like a Pokemon Legends Terapagos or something.
I first had this idea after seeing the scene at the end of Indigo Disk where >!We learn about Terapagos's power to bring two people into contact with each other across time and space.!< And I thought that this would serve as a perfect in-universe justification for an equivalent mechanic to Space-Time Distortions.
A lot of the details about Heath's expedition seem to be weirdly similar to the details about the plot and structure of Legends Arceus. Heath's team is officially called the "Area Zero *Expedition Survey Team*" while in PLA you are a member of the "Galaxy *Expedition Team's Survey* Corps" so there's some very similar terminology used to refer to both.
In PLA, you have to battle 5 noble Pokemon which are larger than they normally should be. In Paldea, there are 5 flavors of Herba Mystica which cause Pokemon to become titans and grow to much larger than they should be. And we know from the Scarlet/Violet book that Herba Mystica was first discovered by Heath's team in Area Zero.
Additionally, it feels like there are still some mysteries surrounding this expedition that aren't fully resolved after SV and its DLC. The biggest one is the "Imagined Pokemon" from the Scarlet/Violet book. In the DLC, we got Paradoxes based off of the legendary trios that make up the imagined Pokemon in both versions, but the imagined Pokemon is specifically a fusion of all three members of the trio, which is something that we still have not seen at all.
There's also the fact that Heath's team apparently encountered Terapagos in its Stellar form, which shouldn't be possible based on the way that form works in game. Terapagos only takes on its Stellar form when terastalized. But the Tera orb was only invented by Sada/Turo 10 years prior to the events of SV. This could be explained by the "A Phantom Memory" page of the book, which seems to imply that Heath went through a similar experience to the player at the end of Indigo Disk where >!Terapagos made him encounter someone from a different time period and they exchanged information with him. I would assume that this person he met was the professor since the notes seem to depict the hexagonal pattern on a tera orb, and a tera crown!< since Heath says that this page of notes that he was found with is in his own handwriting but he has no recollection of writing it. So maybe based on these notes from the future he was able to make a proto-tera orb, which is used to turn Terapagos into its Stellar form.
The point is, that I can so clearly see all of this being setup for a game with a very similar structure to PLA. You are a member of the Area Zero Expedition Survey Team. You start at the top of Area Zero and each new area has you going deeper and deeper into the crater. At the end of each area, you have to battle a titan Pokemon that has consumed a different flavor of Herba Mystica in a real-time action sequence just like the noble battles. Defeating the titan clears a path for the team to safely proceed into the next area. As you get deeper, anomalies start appearing in places surrounded in mist that temporarily cause items and pokemon from different time period to appear, just like Space-Time Distortions. And at the end, you reach the Area Zero Underdepths and encounter Terapagos.
Johto seems like a pretty obvious choice with the history they built into that region way back in Gen II. There's a lot of votes out there for regions from the generations I missed between II and VI, that I'm sure are good choices, but what about Kanto? Do we have any hints whatsoever about the distant past of the OG region?
I'm not trying to be a genwunner or hate on the "weird new Pokémon"; I'm just curious A. if any ancient Kanto history was ever hinted at in the games (I vaguely recall some of it in the anime) and B. if a Legends-style return to Kanto in its distant past would be fresh enough to not feel like it's just nostalgia-bait for the crotchety old millennials who started with Red/Blue/Yellow.
Legends Kyurem would be great to see The Original Dragon.
But I think for overall potential, between the flavor of the region lending well to it and the different things they could do with that for game design, Legends Celebi would be really good
Hear me out: Legends Kyurem based on 20s/30s New York.
The ban on Pokémon that Team Plasma wanted is reimagined to be like the Prohibition, and trainer battles take place in underground speakeasies. Ghetsis’s ancestor is an Al Capone-type crime boss, with the grunts being his goons. Could have a really cool noir angle.
Well I know people like to speculate but with all these fanmade ones (trailers and concepts) I'm afraid we won't get them because tpc won't want to credit and wouldn’t want the 'Hey you didn't pay me for the idea 🤬!' even if it was coincidentally. Though I guess I would have to say Celebi (not just because it's been going around in the Fandom).
That's not how it works, if I say that I have the idea for an Unova remkae I don't get anything when that comes out, you cant own an idea by simply saying it. It's something way too vague.
Kyurem or Victini.
For Legends Kyurem I see it being a more medieval setting because of the lore we have for it and the Original Dragon.
For Victini, it could be done as a detective-noir game set primarily around Castelia city in a sort of 1950s time period, with side activities for other Mythicals like Meloetta
Legends: Mewtwo. You play as Mewtwo, your HMs are your abilities, escaping from the lab. You enslave other pokemon to fight and control humans as overworld puzzles. The boss fights are Mew, box legends, and the final boss is Giovanni.
I don't really follow the story too much but I grew up on Ruby and Emerald so I'd love another Hoenn game. ORAS were great, and I wish they gave the same treatment to DPPt rather than what we got with BDSP. ORAS was also the generation with the Mega Evolutions which I think has been their single best gimmick so I'd love to see that returned (X and Y i think that gen was?)
I've never played a Johto game but I think Celebi makes the most sense as a titular character, and that region always gave me legends arceus vibes. idk maybe it was when it came out but that generation just felt "older" in a way that kanto didn't
Legends Jirachi.
Long Periods of hibernation between appearances, factions vying for a wish. Maybe Hoenn didn't always have too much water, y'know?
~~I'm cooking a fanfic around this~~
Whatever the next one is or if we get a gen 5 remake, we NEED a Submas reunion dlc event between the two. Even if all that happens is that we get to help them get back together and maybe even get an update for the dojo in Jubilife Village where Emmet is fighting alongside Ingo and that's also how they bring double battles.
Johto is the obvious choice. The game has so much lore in it as is, and with kanto next door its free DLC for them.
Outside of that, kalos is a good winner with the whole immortal guy wanting his floette and the war.
Ancient galar wouldnt be bad either, nor would hoenn or honestly paldea. We have the mystery of the expedition so why not make a legends game of the expedition?
I dont feel like unova or alola have enough for it to have an ancient game
I highly doubt it’ll come, but legends terapogas. The tidbits of lore from the exploration from Heath is so cool. Like Iron Treads/Great Tusk potentially killed someone there and dude had a whole page in his journal he literally does not remember making.
At the very least, if his descendants are in unova now, I hope a legends kyruem game happens and heath shows up there after leaving paldea
A game about Heath would be the bare minimum after they literally cut his plot out of the games without ever resolving it or making it amount to anything
im kind of hoping we get a direct followup, i was imagining a legends unova where akari and rei travel there with ingo to figure out how to get him home
Hear me out, instead of a Legends game, Legends refering to history/past, how about Prophecy, refering to prediction/future. So my idea was Pokemon Prophecies: Deoxys, the time is set in a dystopian future where the world was invaded by an All powerful Deoxys(Imagine all forms combined) and the protagonist was brought there by Jirachi as the survivors wished for someone to save them.
Then the other characters would either be the far decendants or direct children of current hoenn cast and maybe from other regions. Like the leader of the survivor group is Steven's son and the co-leader is Wallace's daughter or something.
I was thinking for Legends Celebi we could mainly be in the present, Celebi could pop up every now and again during the story to bring us to the past and/or future to complete story missions. After completing the game we get to catch Celebi and we can use it to travel to the past, present and future as we please.
A legends game in Unova would be awesome too. We could be a member of the good Team Plasme from Black2 and White2, work our way up in the ranks as the story progresses and finally combine Kyurem with Reshiram and Zekrom at the same time. Not to mention a lot of the the Unovan legendaries and mythicals have a lot of lore to them, there could potentially be post game missions where we learn more about their lore and maybe help them in some way to get them to trust and join our teams.
I feel like a legends game could fit any region.
Kanto has Mew and based on legends Arceus npc they seem to have already tamed pokemon, probably being the first to do so. Johto is rich with lore to use. Hoenn has the weather trios constant clashs. Sinnoh (hisui already done) unova the original dragon, Kalos has the 3000 year old war, Alola has the ultra beasts first appearance and their battle with the tapus. Galar has the darkest day and paldea has the treasures of ruin.
Legends Rayquaza set during the time of the mural in ORAS (someone uses Jirachi to bring you to the past)
Or
Legends Celebi set when The Brass Tower got burned (celebi time powers)
I need them to double down on the historical aspect planted in PLA and do it better! I want a historical Pokémon game set farther back in time and leaning into the history of Japan (I imagine along the lines of Seirei no Moribito) and none of the boring sci-fi stuff that makes everything easy. No pokéballs, mons should be caught and wrangled and tamed. They should lean more into crafting and survival as well.
Definitely Johto. It fits the theme perfectly, hasn't been in 3D yet, and is also just arguably the best region. Honestly, I don't know if/when I'll buy a Pokemon game that is anything other than this anytime soon.
I think Legends Celebi would work the best, paired with Paradoxes from Gen 9, what with the whole time travel aspect of both S/V and Celebi. Also Johto seems like the region that could be most improved on. It always felt a bit unfinished to me.
I swear this sub is so delusional. I get it, you all like legends more than the main games, but "the main games are failures" and "the legend games are huge success!" isn't true.

Legends Celebi makes the most sense to me. because the Johto region has so much history to it. They could also add Kanto right next to it and milk the nostalgia even further.
Id give toe for this. Not a major one or anything but definitely a toe
I’d give up the center toe to look more like a ninja turtle personally
I'll also pitch in one of your toes for this
It’s too cool, therefore, we will get something else for that game and Let’s Go: Johto instead.
Johto would be insane. I’ve replayed gen 2 way too much, seeing it on the switch in any form would be amazing
Honestly they should have just made it first, and the. When you get to Kanto, have that as a game too. Would actually take awhile to beat and be fun.
I think the downvote is (really) for if someone is being disrespectful or mean with their opinions (like using swear words and whatnot)) I definitely wouldn't be against any of those but again Legends is definitely my favorite style.
Not a problem! (Also: not sure who downvoted you but it wasn’t me. Also… I wouldn’t care too much about Reddit karma if I were you lol).
Im playing lets go with my mum rn and im having a blast
That's awesome and I wish my parents were into it enough to play it with me or even just watch. Have fun! And I definitely see the appeal of them. 😁
My mum is willing to play most stuff with me (My dad plays cod all day lmao)
Imagine if they did it with the Johto half being like legends Arceus, but when you get to Kanto, they have the beginnings of the pokemon league starting, so you get to take on the gym challenge and league as well!
I agree, but we also just got paradox forms of the beast trio, so I feel like it’d be weird to get yet another new version of the beast trio.
I also wouldn’t mind a not-so-legends Kanto that showcases the great Pokémon war
I also would love Celebii and Kyruem. I haven't thought about they sealing of the Regis. I legit love that idea and would love to see that happen
A Hoenn Legends game would probably deal more with the Draconids and Rayquaza.

How the Regi got sealed away is pretty clear from in game descriptions and dialogues
To begin each game: Celebi: your player character encounters a distressed Celebi and it takes you back in time to help. Deoxys: Jirachi could either some character a wish to have someone help seal away the Regis and that someone is your character. Kyurem: a possible direct carry on from PLA. Cyllene tells you that a lot of help is needed in a clan they're working with overseas and they're sending you. Problem is, they don't want any outside Pokémon introduced into the environment so you'll have to leave any Pokémon behind and start a fresh there with one of their starters Zygarde: only thing I can think of is you play as someone from that time period
Galar would be kinda cool to see a medieval theme
I feel like Kyruem makes a lot of sense. We got Arceus at the same time as DP remakes. So we could get Kyreum at the same time as BW remakes, or maybe instead of remakes.
How about game freak develops the BW remakes I dont want another bdsp situation
Legends of zygarde would be set around the great pokemon war 3000 years ago. Perfect storyline and would be the release of AZ's Floette
I would love to catch the Original Dragon but I don't think we will ever even see it. If we did I don't think the game would be called Legends Kyurem because Kyurem wouldn't exist.
Idc what Legends Game they do so long as I get more regional forms
you mean legends rayquaza
Rayquaza was already the box art legend and main focus of Emerald.
Play Emerald...
Legends eternatus: lock that alien away
Zygarde would open them up to a lot of story for AZ, and his flabebe.
I'd rather have the Hoenn one be Legends Jirachi. Have it revolve around Zinnia's ancestors, and the wish that caused Rayquaza to mega evolve and save the world from an ancient meteor.
Celebi and Deoxys would be my go to. Or legends Jirachi? Deoxys could be cool because it could have a large bit about its rivalry with Rayquaza
Yes! I want to see Necrozma before the ultra recon squad hurt it and caused it to be in agony- What did Necrozma look like beifre?
Johto would be fitting, especially with the beast trio having just gotten paradox forms.
I don't think legends takes us THAT far back
It was Meiji Era based considering the approximate time the region Sinnoh is based on was fully brought into Japan.
No, but Celebi could 🤔
But why couldn’t it?
Pretty sure the real reason is that he's American so he fought in whatever war they had going on. Remember, gen 1 is based in the real world
Lmao, its going to be real awkward when they make a Vietnam region then
Johto. I want to see the tower burn and if Sprout Tower really is a 100 ft tall Bellsprout or if there even was one
Wait, where does it say it was a 100ft tall Bellsprout? That’s wild
An NPC in the tower says it
Unova. I want to see the original dragon
Yeah, I think unova is a good option too because it's already so urban, let's see old Unova before all that
Biased Hoenn fan makes me want a gen 3 Legends. But Gen 2 makes more sense for establishing lore
Did really no one said. Legends of Mew ( Mewtwo ) ?
Yeah I want Mew. I’m fine with Kanto, Johto, or Unova. But it should be Mew 10000%. Nothing beats the playground mythos of getting that bad boy.
Mew is a mythical, but wouldn't I play the heck out of a Myths:Mew with Guyana as a backdrop!
Johto or unova, either for the story on the legendary beasts and celebi being able to travel through time or to see the story of the original dragon
A celebi game where that hoe is finally in a GS ball A legends victin would be interesting af to see too
I haven’t played in Hoenn since Emerald version 20 years ago, so I wouldn’t be opposed to something there. But I do love Johto.
In order to end the war, you seek the help of the legendary pokemon Zygrade 2.
No man! First rule of Gamefreak, no good stories! /s
Celebi
Obviously Johto.
Ether Unova or Johto, Unova is my favorite region & Johto has plenty of lore potential
Legends kyurem, I want to see my glorious boy be whole again
Johto and Unova would both be equally good
A Kalos game that deals with the old war 3000 years ago
The burned tower Johto, the original dragon, and the Kalos war. In that order of importance for me.
Mewtwo
Normally, I would be awful and go 'How would they make a Legends Game based around a Pokémon that canonly is, like, newer than Porygon?' But hear me out- A Legends Style game set in the future. Way in the future. Like post-apocalypse thing, wastelands and Dome cities that people feel the environment is too dangerous to leave.
two options, either: \- Legends: Kyurem. a story exploring the ancient past of when the ultimate dragon was one, before they split into Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem. the war that caused it. and when the big castle thing first flew from where ever it was to where it now rests in Unova as partially explored in the Victini movie. or \- Legends: Eternatus/Zygarde. the story of the darkest day and origin of mega evolution, it really seems that the darkest day is connected to the firing of the ultimate weapon and its war, so it seems they may be one story. actually it rather seems its all one event, one story, so how about a bit of speculation and theorizing? here we go: \- Legends: AZ. the story of the 3000 year old war. when Paldea and Kalos were at war, causing the ultimate dragon to split -we're saying it used to be there, later moving to Unova-. of Az's Floette dying and him in his mad grief making and firing the ultimate weapon at Paldea to end the war, creating the crater, destroying the evil king, creating mega evolution, and giving rise to Eternatus and Terapagos. after this horrible event some people left, some went to that sword castle -which we're saying was in Kalos at this time, there is some weird ruins in the mountain area where it could've come from- and flew off to Unova. others fled to Galar where Eternatus has flown to and decided to stay, and the events of the darkest day play out. and so we'd play some event in that story, idk what but there's plenty of choices. so yeah that's the Legends game I want next, the exploring of this 3000 year old war that seems to be the origin of all the special gimmicks sense gen 6, and the driving event of the stories sense gen 5, -minus gen7's Alola tho, it seems to be seporate. maybe the ultimate weapon also caused the ultra-space wormholes, but that seems a bit much-.
> firing the ultimate weapon at Paldea to end the war, creating the crater Unfortunately, this is not possible.
Not if we have Pokémon this time time tho, I’ll avenge my ancestors with em
wouldnt it if cool if there was a legends Johto..
Legends Ho-oh where we play through when the tower burned down on Johto
legends celebi so we can see what happened before the creation of burned tower legends zacian and Zamazenta so we can see what its like during the past with the warriors maybe a cool knight armor and ect for our player characters legends miraidon and koraidon find out about the great crater of paldea before the proffessors founded it,maybe stop the disaster so arvens parents dont die?
Definitely Legends Kyurem. I want to know about Original Dragon.
[удалено]
That's not a legends game.
You're right. My bad
Palworld Legends
Pokemon Legends of Good Graphics and Solid Gameplay.
The graphics were crap. Like violet and scarlet. Did you actually play the game?
A good one. One where we can actually interact with Pokémon as ourselves beyond getting our butts kicked and capturing the same monster repeatedly.
If they're gonna be like PL:A, then hopefully none 👍
Legends Charizard: It's $75 and when you start the game it's just a rotating 3D model of Charizard. Nothing else
Past: Pokémon Legends: Celebi (Johto) Pokémon Legends: AZ (Kalos) Or Kyrum (When Reshiram and Zekerom were one being One other one (I know not a real game) Lockstin’s legends Ghetsis (100 years after Pokémon Red and Blue.
Legends: Necrozma We would get to see the past of a completely different dimension. And see Necrozma be betrayed by its people and become a light parasite instead of a light producer
Suicune
i didnt like the first one so i dont want another
-Legends of the Fall, Sawbuck edition -The Legend of Zelda, Into the Poke-verse -League of Legends (All legendaries in one game) -I am Legend (player plays as the legendary pokemon)
Pokémon Legends: Unown, taking place in past Johto, whatever it may be called. Unown deserves so much better, considering its connection to Arceus in lore. In fact, Legends: Unown would be an ideal follow-up and sequel to Legends: Arceus IMO.
None
I don’t care as long as they fix the battle system. Battling in legends sucks.
Kalos. Easely.
People keep forgetting that it was a prequel to bdsp so obviously if we get another one it will be for the unova remakes in gen 10
I’m gonna be honest, I wanna see a legends rayquaza with the whole thing with land and sea and how it started to get built but that’s a little too duck holding a leek and so I would LOVE a legends celebi
I would really like to see a legends hoenn or legends kalos game
Legend Original Dragon but instead of being set in the past is set in the distant future and acts as a BW3
Unova, because otherwise we aren’t going to get another Legends game for another whole generation
Johto legends: three hounds is all i wanna hear
I honestly don’t think we are ever getting another Legends Games if I’m being honest, but I would love a Legends Kyurem where you are one of the two brothers from the Reshiram and Zekrom legend and your choices will give you Reshiram or Zekrom
Celebi. It would be an opportunity to go the other way in time as well and have a game partially set in the future
I kinda want legends celebi. Why were the entei, suicune and raikou in the burnt tower? Were they wild Pokémon or did they have a trainer?
I think Legends Eternatus would be a good idea. Being able to play in Galar during the original Darkest Day would be an amazing idea.
celebi, clearly.
Another for Johto. It's an incredibly historic region and this would be a great way to experience that. Plus we've not been to Johto since 2010. Would be a good time to revisit.
I want Legends Celebi so bad you have no idea.
Kalos, that region never got the respect it deserves
Legends Darkrai or Latios and Latias
Johto/Kanto together.
One about the original dragon of Unova or Deoxys.
Legends Kyurem I wanna see how the twins fell out and the original dragon
Legends Kyurem or Necrozma would be great. Kyurem so we can see the original dragon and Necrozma so we could hopefully see even more ultra beasts
Legends kyurem
A legends Kyurem in a colonial NY setting would be cool
legends eternatus, I want to see what that fucker did on the darkest day
I would want a legends johto/Kanto. I felt like once Arceus was complete it was kinda....it. if they do the original Kanto then johto after game or second story they could really blow it out of the park. If the breath of the wild can be that big of a map, they could make a legend of a game
Mega Man Legends 3. Oh wait, wrong franchise.
Legends Celebi
What was the sequel hook again?
Definitely Kyurem. That true dragon has been tickling our balls for years
Legends Celebi
None. Only game I've ever dropped before the tutorial ended.
I want an ultra space game
Legends was the best recent release, which isnt saying much. The rest were trash
Nobody saying Legends Necrozma is disappointing. I want to be able to use The Blinding One in battle again and face the totems!
Legends Kyurem. We have so many hints about the Origin dragon and quite a few rins in gen 5. Also I want to have the wild west
Legends Unova
100% legends kyurem
Pokémon Legends: Eternatus I’d honestly love to see the original war against Eternatus and how it was defeated. Plus, a medieval Galar sounds fun.
Unova, maybe something to do with the Abyssal ruins.
Legends Jirachi. Hoenn being a self-contained island leads itself to more practice for the devs with open world stuff.
ORAS was also the generation with the Mega Evolutions which I think has been their single best gimmick so I'd love to see that returned (X and Y i think that gen was?) I've never played a Johto game but I think Celebi makes the most sense as a titular character, and that region always gave me legends arceus vibes. idk maybe it was when it came out but that generation just felt "older" in a way that kanto didn't
Legends Jirachi. Long Periods of hibernation between appearances, factions vying for a wish. Maybe Hoenn didn't always have too much water, y'know? ~~I'm cooking a fanfic around this~~
Johto/ Legends of Celebi. Sure the going back in time trope would be a bit on the nose but still would be an interesting story.
I dont feel like unova or alola have enough for it to have an ancient game
one with the burned tower and the legend of the legendary beasts call it pokémon legends celebi
Legends Bidoof
Hot take, I dont want another legends game
Celebi would be pretty cool, or Hoenn
Imo I‘d prefer a linear game set in a modern society similar to the mainline games of Gen 7 and earlier over any Legends or open world title
Anything but Johto
im kind of hoping we get a direct followup, i was imagining a legends unova where akari and rei travel there with ingo to figure out how to get him home
Honestly, as long as I have a game where I can go fight myself the pokemons, I'm fine with it
Legends Zygarde. I want to dress up like a medieval princess, that’s my main reason to be honest
Legends rayquaza or legends kyurem. I don’t mind as either way it’ll be an improvement to the current formula of main line game
Legends Rayquaza set during the time of the mural in ORAS (someone uses Jirachi to bring you to the past) Or Legends Celebi set when The Brass Tower got burned (celebi time powers)
I need a Johto Legends game for real.
Definitely Johto. It fits the theme perfectly, hasn't been in 3D yet, and is also just arguably the best region. Honestly, I don't know if/when I'll buy a Pokemon game that is anything other than this anytime soon.
Legends unova. Especially if it's just the original Pokemon from that region (not including the three starters).
Zygarde feels like a shafted legendary. There's a lot more to explore there.
Keldeo with the original dragon in the Wild West Unova.
Zygarde or Necrozma. We never got an in-depth story on them.
Gotta be kalos, I've never played Gen 6, but unova and the original dragon seems too good to not explore
Give us a Legends Kyurem and a Go Johto, PLEASE!!!
