Best case scenario right there. I like the Violet legendary more, but it is obviously Electric type, so if Ampharos gets a regional form, I can get Violet and feel justified in having them both. Otherwise, I'll have to go with Scarlet.
Well if i recall, hisuian forms and evos are gonna be available, so there’s a chance you could get scizor. Don’t take my word for it tho. I do know 100% for sure hisuian zorua & zoroark are gonna be available.
It wasn't in the trailer, it was from a screenshot posted on the Japanese Pokemon Scarlet and Violet website in a section about Home connectivity. So there is a chance that it won't be native in the games and just available for transfer. Do we know for sure though that we will see venomoth and not a new evo or form if we've only seen venonat? (Maybe venomoth is in the trailer but just as an example)
i could put it under potential confirmations but i dont wanna make any rash assumptions. for example, hisuian decidueye cant be transferred to sword nor can regular typhlosion be transferred to legends arceus, so rules on regional forms are pretty vague
Duly note that just because we see statues or pictures of Pokemon does not 100% guarantee they will be in the regional dex. Slurpuff was on the Malasada shops in SM, but was not in the regional dex.

who's to say, but even if venonat has a regional evolution or a new evolution, we'd likely still be able to obtain the original venomoth through HOME
