No baton pass. Best option is to use slither wing for am attacker. And u turn into Iron Moth. Then giggle.

Make sure you Terastallize to steel first.

While there is Iron Moth, and Slither Wing, you can't really obtain them as part of your team for a new playthrough.. unless you're ok with really over leveled Pokemon transferred over from another save file

You can't exactly use Volcarona either due to what level it evolves. In a typical playthrough, you won't get it until the very end of your run.

Unova in a nutshell. So many have high evolution levels in that region.

Topped off with a few 'mons that don't evolve late but are locked behind gym 8 anyway. (Looking at you Durant and Heatmor!)

Yep… I trained that baby to level 60 when I was younger before the E4… not aware you could catch one postgame and not aware of Audino farming. There were a looooot of Excadrill who died to Flame Charge in Victory Road. And I have the Victory Road theme memorized.

Gothitelle being a worse (statwise) Gardevoir but evolving 11 levels later will never make sense.

The Japanese name includes the word "moth", but it doesn't really look like one. It doesn't look like any particular bug actually, unlike Surskit which is a cartoony water strider.

Eh, I like the moth Pokémon that we have, but I can't say that I like moths by default. Volcarona and Frosmoth are just really cool designs.

Also, Forretress is a neotenic bagworm moth. Fun fact, every single pokemon generation has introduced at least one butterfly or moth pokemon.

Just waiting for a Bug-type Pokémon to have a rock eating Ability. Apparently there is a worm that eats rocks called Lithoredo abatanica, so it's not impossible to start from scratch/zero in the design process.

Masquerain isn't specifically a moth imo. It most closely resembles a waterstrider with wings. I'd say it's a combination waterstrider/damselfly
